Normally I would never defend WSD cause I think he should be wearing a helmet for his own safety every second of his life. A burger is 100 percent a sandwich by the definition of the word sandwich. You put meat between bread it's a sandwich. Hank and cons were arguing the complete opposite point by saying is a Basketball player a baseball player because they are both athletes. In no way is that the same. That's a terrible argument. A burger, panini, turkey club are all specific types of sandwiches. They are not the same sandwich but still a sandwich. A basketball player, hockey player, baseball player are all a particular type of athlete. Not the same type of athlete but still are athletes. They tried to argue something that made no sense. It's like saying a turkey club is the same exact thing as a cuban because they are both sandwiches. They are the exact same sandwich. Hense a basketball player is the exact same as a baseball player because they are both athletes. Rather than a sandwich is a turkey club or a cuban and a athlete is a baseball player or a basketball player.

I agree with White Sox Dave. A hamburger is a sandwich. Despite it's great success and popularity it's a subsection of the sandwich category and any Hamburger is by definition a sandwich as well as basically any other kind of food if it's found between two pieces of bread has become a sandwich.
