@@Wort-Wort-Wortstill pretty messed up how rios who was salems best friend since the army rangers and they saved eachother countless times on countless missions just for rios to let salem die for some bitch he didnt even know
Elliot was awesome in both the first and second. EA ruined the series due to the fact that they thought implementing a more “serious” tone would appeal to a broader audience. Which failed miserably. The whole point of the Army or Two games was to have goofy, fun & chaotic over the top co-op action with a friend. Making Salem an antagonist was the poorest decision they could have ever made. Does not do the character justice whatsoever, honestly tragic to see how they did him so dirty. I’d say this arguably played a major role in killing the series. Really wish they’d make a reboot on a new engine with the Salem & Rios we all know and love!
The Salem we knew, died on the 40th day...the broken monster the devs created?...he lives in a jail cell; not of his own making..but that of those who stripped him of who he was...A True Partner; A True Friend; A True Brother. His memory lives on in us and so too does the memory of his loss at the hands of a studio with marketing being their main interest.
I don’t know why everyone hated Devil’s Cartel. I thought it was generally well written (would have like the characters to have slightly more interesting names than Alpha and Bravo, though). It was my first AoT game, but even after playing the first two I still love it. Seeing Salem go bad, understanding why, hits harder after seeing his past.
y'all are making me sad and reminisce about this game I love Army of Two Salem was my favorite character when I first started playing the game I loved him he reminded me of my personality when I play multiplayer with my cousin my cousin always wanted to be Salem because he was his favorite character to then when Army of Two the Devil's Cartel came out it made me sad that he was a villain but it was also kind of cool cuz I like the New World characters Alpha and bravo bravo is a Savage
I’m laughing at the fact people think Salem becoming bad was a shock dude wasn’t the same since 40th day when Alice died didn’t surprise me at all I knew that bell was gonna crack eventually
Loved Elliot in the first one, both him and Tyson had such amazing personalities but the second and third ones were trash and threw these wonderful characters into the shredder

@@LeChef__Strongly disagree. The second game took away what made the first game so great. The first game was goofy but serious enough, it had an amazing balance with wonderful art and characters. The second threw away those characters, the art style, and actors (who had helped give those characters life) and tried to act like what we got were the same Salem and Rios. The third game, we briefly got to see the original Rios and Salem and then they blew Salem up and made him a villain, completely pulling the plug on the series where the second one had put it on life support. Salem was always supposed to be a morally grey character in comparison to Rios, but not Clyde level crazy. It would have made more sense for Clyde to have come back for revenge instead. I would absolutely love to see a remastered version of the original followed by new sequels but I highly doubt we would ever get it.
One of my all time favorites they did him dirty making him the bad guy
i couldent agree more
Ngl Salem did a good job shooting Fiona in my opinion, she was quite annoying

Salem was not evil he was mad because Rios never saved him. This made me cry.
That doesn’t justify killing innocent people lmao

The equivalent of making Ghost evil and kill Soap

Salem and Rios they're kind good people like a working together, team, friends and brothers

Those who dont die the hero live long enough to see themselves become the villian

You know they did him so dirty for no reason.
The Devil’s cartel never existed. It’s just an hallucination

I’d buy an army of two 1 remaster in a heartbeat! Bring back split screen co-op but in 4k. That would be rad!
The ones with the coolest masks always get killed first
I never liked him but I he was the best person ever i even call him brother 💓😢
They definitely destroyed the franchise with the more serious tone they wanted
Nuh-uh, Devil’s Cartel is not canon bro, fuck that
Been saying this my whole life 🙏🏻
Why transferm based salem to a bad guy
Bc it makes sense
I will miss Fiona one of the most badass characters in a game fighting against a whole Cartel army
They did my boy so dirty
😅😮😢 what???? Salem....Rios, come on
What i became the bad guy 😂😂😂

I hate what they did, that’s completely out of character, Salem would never join the cartel and would wipe em out trying to get back to rios
