    What’s that stud adhesive? That was never used when I did house refurbs around 10+ years ago.
    Surely if you do any refurb work in the future it will make stripping off that plaster boarding near impossible?

    • @avancalledrupert5130
      @avancalledrupert5130 9 месяцев назад

      Standard Stanley knife blade . Not the break off shit old school. I prefer a Stanley classic but some prefer a dolphin. You need a Stanley fat max tape measure to go with it.
      Cheap crap tapes are too thin to knife and tape with. Pro dry liners make every cut with the knife and tape method. All marking done the same way holding the pencil on the tip of the tape the same as you would the knife for a cut .

    Best practice(s) to avoid rubbish in your mud?

    • @graxo3752
      @graxo3752 10 месяцев назад +1

      It's from the wall. Chips of paint and mud come off when you wipe it down. Can't really do anything about it without spending a ton of time wiping everything off the walls. You just swipe the mud again until it's flat without scratches

    Too much scribbling. You write your measurements on the wall then on a piece of rock. Take the length and cut the board to take it right where you are working. No scribble. Take a measurement and mark it on the board . You're welcome.
