Yes... You got both versions. Non sound and sound version. I got version with sound but I must say that engine sound is OK but station announcements etc. are poor quality... 😏
I used Piko SmartControl (= ESU Mobile Control 2) but now I use own developed and built DCC station connected via WiFi to smartphone with own developed Android App... 🙂
These sets were all Sound equiped? (Edit): Also do these have any vertical movement with the coupling between the cars? Or is it the same as the Chinese C400AF with minimal to no vertical movement between the cars?
There are/were DC and DCC sound versions. But I recommend to buy the DCC Sound version, because it's hard to open the body. They run good but I do not remember the details...

so... i got mine yesterday. the coupling system is not good, the black connectors in between the cars were broken, (luckily they can came with replacements) and the back light on the executive class car is a bit wonky (the plastic covering the lights is not cut properly and hangs over the red paint a bit like a 1 mm) and the pantograph is slightly bent. not a bad model, but these little imperfections drive me away from ACME. it is very beautiful and im glad i got it, but its not the level of train i was expecting for the price. the piko ICE4 is much better, and even though its overpriced, (the PIKO ICE4) i would buy a PIKO train over an acme train everyday.
@@sdetkin Yes that's right. A.C.M.E. got interesting models but sometimes they can not bring them to perfection and probably quality control is not the best. Mine Frecciarossa got no issues. And yes, the sound. A.C.M.E takes not a great care about sound...
Yes it's A.C.M.E. 79200 - DCC with sound🙂 But I'm not very satisfied with sound. I thought it will be better. Is not very loud, electric sound is boring and station announcements in italian are low quality. A.C.M.E. spent not a lot time doing the sound good. It's disappointing, because the model is of great quality. 🙂
@@MaxSupercars Yes, you are right, the sound is not of good quality. One question: your model perform well or it have red light circuit problems? Many Italian model makers have found defects in the red / white light circuit.

@@MaxSupercars The lights flicker, the white lights are too bright and burn out. I read around that ACME wrong the value of the resistances and many collectors have changed the two cards that manage the white / red lights and moreover they have changed the resistances. Miguel! That's the problem! I wanted to open motorized coach because I wanted to change pins to enable separate switching of high beam light. After some attempts I surrended that. I didn't want to damage it. I spread the side walls but the shell didn't want to go out... 🤔
Miguel. A lot of manufacturers make models so that you can assemble them easily but dissassembling goes harder. I think it must be easy and we did it good way, we just have to use more force. I don't know. Anyways I didn't want to brake anything so I surrender. I can leave with high beam headlight always beeing on. 🙂 You got it harder, because you must! 😃 Let me then know if you do it sucessfully... 😃

Im italian....no, A.C.M.E (anonime costruzioni modellistiche esatte ) dosen’t product frecciarossa 1000 (red arrow for you) in AC
What is the minimum radius the train can take? Is it a radius 2 track from piko?
I don't know. But I would recommend you R4 and higher.
