task idea: convince someone to give you three different types of resources?
Here are some task ideas:
- Bodyguard Timmy for 10 minutes. They must not lose hearts. (this could be changed to any other player)
- Accurately guess another player's secret task, you can wait until after they win to confirm.
you have to connect your base to another (maybe a specific person) base via a secret tunnel, and said person cant know you made it until end of session/ after 30 mins or something
Task idea: Make a chicken follow you for half an hour, making sure it doesn't die
Task Idea: When in a convosation with someone, Start eating a relatively big food (e.g: a sandwich) food IRL and try and hide the fact that you're eating from the other players. If the other people in the convosation son's notice your blatant eating, you succeed! This must be done 3 separate times
I think this shows how often martyn charges straight into things without thinking about the consequences, in this case the consequence is the damage he takes

The mechanics of this being UHC is actually really interesting because the players who you don't necessarily suspect being "good" at the game are actually doing really well and then you've got Martyn who is normally really good at surviving, nearly dead in the first episode because he's not used to not having regeneration! I love it! All bets are off now!
this is SOO so good!!!!!!!!! martyn is *amazing* at survival long game. he literally was about to lend gem a shield all to ensure a favour. he's insane. but he's not a hardcore guy, so he's struggling w/o the regen. it's SO fun to watch

i would like to point out the accidental prediction of session 7.
Watching the other POVs, I had the impression that Martyn's copy of Lizzie's house was built way early in the session ... I'm astonished at how much later it actually was. It's always interesting to try and piece things together chronologically using clues like the different interactions and the chat.

the interesting thing about this season is that it encorages veiwers to watch multiple prespectives or you wont know what their tasks are , it can lead to some tensions between pairing because usually pairs share everything but now they are forced to keep a secret and MUMBO IS BACK!!!!

The dynamic between tasks has been interesting to watch. Impulse with the cherry blossom obsession checking in on Martyn as he was building it and then Cleo building on top of Lizzie's base to make it simple for Martyn to build. Also Martin stealing Lizzie's bed to affect Etho's task. So cool how it's all coming together.
ive been really struggling with depression recently, leading to me having a general apathy towards everything. but somehow, this new life series has brought me genuine joy and excitement for the first time in a while. so thank you for that martyn (and everyone involved of course)

This is a very interesting and fun concept love it.
Keep in mind you get stuff from the keeper if you only have to get less than 10 hearts. Extra hearts gets you goodies.

I just realized that pufferfish would be devastating this season. The poison would chip away at those hearts fast, but anyone placing it would essentially be doing a kamikaze because it would getv hem too. Poison arrows might be really good for when people start getting into their red lives
Ok, here's a task idea- Go into somebody's base and reorganize all their chests so that all the items are in alphabetical order. If they walk in while you're organizing, you're no longer allowed to attempt again on that base.

I love cancelling all my plans to watch like 20 hours per week of every life series just so I can forget what happened a year later lol. I do always love the animations from the life series. The fanbase is really strong!
I can totally see 30:00 - 30:17 /- 30:33 being used for an animated clip or animatic audio in the future.
The honest panic, running to the shelter of friends when realizing they're near and that he'll die otherwise, and after such a rough time underground as well..
The desperation in his voice got me in the feels, I'll tell ya that much. The music is on point as well.
I'm happy with how quick everyone was willing to protect him, even with some initial scolding, lol.
I'm excited for more of Secret Life; I've genuinely enjoyed this entire episode!

Martyn, have you ever seen the movie Shiva Baby? I typically don't recommend it because it is the most stressful anxiety ridden film I've ever seen that just. doesn't. stop. You can't breathe for like, the last 40 minutes.

Watched this first but back after watching a few more videos from others: It's really fun going through other POVs and realising they did this thing or asked for this item for their secret and how everything's layering up, it's so cool!

I think it’s funny how Martin hit someone in the first minute of the episode only to get absolutely destroyed over the course of the first session.
The lore fans will be all over that, considering that Martyn won last season and Jimmy has spent four seasons being the first eliminated. Did hitting him somehow pass on the curse? Is there anything symbolic connecting the hand-related animation at the end of Martyn's Limited Life finale, with the fact that his hand caused the first damage taken in this season? Or his title as "The Hand" in season 1? I don't usually follow the Watcher lore but I'm really curious to see what people come up with for this!
TASK IDEA:
Act like/talk like another one of the lifers, until someone catches on, and correctly guesses who you're trying to be. If anyone asks why you're acting strangely, you have to pretend like nothing's different.
Bonus points: pick someone with a different accent.
cherri must of had such a hard time not only keeping lizzy's return a secret, but probably the name too. Girl has some will power!
Tbf the logo probably isn't added by Cherri and maybe Martyn didn't even tell them what the thumbnail is for :) obviously it was an easy guess but not getting the secret out is a part of what the artists are getting paid for
Suggested tasks:
-Get 5 players to prick themselves with berry bush
-Bring a ghast to the overworld
-Hide a sign with your name in 3 other players' bases with their owners not finding them for half the recording session
-Engage in a conversation with someone where each of your reply must start with each letter of the alphabet from A-Z

with the way Martyn was taking damage, from other povs I was convinced his task was to guilt people into giving him a heart without directly asking or something 😂

This would *have* to be a red life task, if that’s how they’re even tasked- If it was just a normal hard task, it’d be basically sabotaging other players
