Thank you Fr Goring. In March of 2020 as this pandemic began to unravel I had a little meditation. People around me were very stressed and anxious about the pandemic. For some reason I was at peace. On that day of that meditation I had the odd thought “what if fire were to come down from the sky?” I went along with the thought still unbothered and I thought, “well if such a thing kills me then it would be the type of suffering and death necessary for me to go home.” Then I thought “what if I survive such a thing and living in the aftermath is a nightmare?” To which I thought “well then that would be the suffering necessary for me to go home at the end.” In all my thoughts the love and goodness of God, His desire for us with him and my desire for me with him was the constant assurance. Now, I believe that Jesus died on the cross for me and that is where my salvation is. I lament that I have not fully participated in God’s will in my life and have sinned. I seek forgiveness and believe in God’s forgiveness. But I am ok and no longer seek to understand but rather accept in faith what comes from God. I know where I want to go. I know where he wants me to go. I just pray for the grace to endure with a modicum of silence and obedience rather than doubts and grumbling. In the end enduring faith even in the face of horror is what I think we all need to pray for.
Well said. When Fr was reading the 1st prophecy, and said even the good people shall perish, I thought to myself, then what's the point, we're all just going to be massacred anyway. I'm so glad that I came across your response, because you're right, it's not about fear and dread, it's about what God wants and what needs to happen so we can go home, which is all I've ever wanted since I can remember from an early age. Father Mark, it is so reassuring to hear you. This is how I am trying to live my life. Totally for Jesus. Before this last Advent, I only prayed the Rosary about 2 or 3 times a week, if even that. For Advent I resolved to pray a daily Rosary. In late January I started to pray all 4 Mysteries every day. Now I try and pray all 4 Mysteries every day, and even if I don't get all 4, I always pray 2 or 3, and 4 or 5 days a week I do pray all 4. It is amazing how the grace of God has lead me, in Just about 4 short months to pray so much more.

The Lord will protect us. That does not mean we will live through it, but it does mean God will not leave us or forsake us. Pray, pray, pray! Maybe this can be mitigated. Also remember to pray for the souls lost in this war, and pray that people will turn back to God!

I listen to Bible in a Year, second time around , listen to podcast My Catholic life and Divine Mercy podcast, pray the Rosary with a podcast I like every morning before starting my day at 7 AM. I’m not boasting but this is something I’ve committed myself to and actually helps me feel closer to God. I have repented of all my sins.

Sometime back in the 90s, I had a dream that my husband, mother, and I were standing on the beach where I live (get this, I wasn’t living here yet). We saw in the sky great clouds of red flames with lightening flashing in them and large balls of black globs similar to lava dropping from the sky into the Gulf of Mexico. We were not frightened just swept up with a feeling of awe and excitement. No one spoke, we were too enthralled at the site before us. It was magnificent and I’ve never forgotten it. My dreams centre round unknown cities and strangely deformed landscapes, toy trains, and all sorts and quantities of THC (Lebanese,Moroccan,Afghane…). Rita, I live on the Atlantic coast of Florida and had a very similar dream two years ago. In my dream the night became day and as I looked through the curtains to see what was happening...I saw fire and lightening covering the skies to the east of me. I immediately felt a great peace come over me, and I said in my dream, "God's will be done."
I had a dream where my parants and I were in a ruined building, everything wss charred black. We came out to a great open ruined wasteland of a field, again everything charred. There was a time of dread, but then a great unimaginably large cross in the sky, if I remember correctly, it was red, yet somehow though I was initially in dread, a great reassurance and peace overtook me. I had another vision once, long ago that is mostly fuzzy now. But people went from pushing reason against faith in God to the situation with the questioning of gender and destruction of marriage and the role of man and woman as we have seen. And pride reigning in people`s hearts as their god. A good deal of the Church meanwhile was set against itself, some attempting to lead the corruption into the Church and ignoring Her teachings, another pulling back and attempting to enshrine the past to a period of Church and calling all others evil. People turned mercy against justice when as God is both Justice and Mercy, they are One in Him. What was needed was people going out to preach and show the Christian truth by examples of love and by standing up for the Truth no matter the cost. And of course, live the Gospel. I felt like I should tell the world but I was afraid. I saw I would try but lose my nerve and pull back due to pressure. I did that, there is an old comment of mine on one of Fr.Goring`s old videos that I replaced with and that I needed to bring it to a spiritual director. I felt like I failed, yet the Lord always told me to Trust Him, thank God I did not fail. He wanted me to wait and had sealed my tongue. That said there was hope, St.Joseph, the Holy Rosary and the Holy Family Also we must have obedient and child-like trust in Our Heavenly Father and to be His children and know no matter what happens, we are in His Almighty Arms. And go forth with this written on our hearts. (That is to say we must live it and know it certainly.)

As a Catholic I do not fear the end. What I fear is dying but not death. If It’s quick and instant I know I will be standing before Almighty God in judgment and hopefully he’ll have mercy on me. I’m also fearful that I might be gone but my young children will still be alive in the waste land that remains.

I too, had a dream concerning this event about 25 years ago or so. I was on my knees praying next to my bed when I looked up, and somehow, could see through my roof. I saw balls of fire falling from the sky, and when they hit the ground, they exploded like mega-ton bombs. One blew away half of my house and before another, which would have killed me, fell, I woke up. It was most terrifying, but may God’s will be done. Amen.

Maria Esperanza came to my church in New Jersey and I went to see her...I have rosary beads from that day! They gave them to all who were present... In 2010 I went to her cause to open up her beatification and brought my young son... He sat through 4 hours of the process in church! God is so awesome and has given me such amazing graces!!! Praying for us all to stay strong and keep our eyes on the cross... We all have our own crosses but Jesus will carry us through! 🥰🙏🥰🙏🥰🙏🥰
Father, respectfully, what advice do you have for parents who fear for their childrens’ souls? How can we encourage them towards Christ in a world that has them so confused? My adult children are so appalled by the priest scandal that they refuse to go to church. My daughter, oldest of 11, a labor and delivery nurse said to me, “ All of our lives, you taught us to protect children. Now you are part of a church that throws them under the bus!” My response-this is my church and I will not abandon her in trial- just as I would not abandon my suffering family, just as I pray I would not abandon Christ on the cross. But my faith is rooted in experience. I cannot un- know our Father. These souls are still searching. How can we help them?
So many of us in the same boat. I feel your pain. My two adult boys are the same. They have even stopped going to Christmas and Easter Mass with us. I think one still has a thread of faith but the other one is bitter. Breaks my heart. So I understand. You are not alone.
I totally understand where you are coming from despite the fact my husband and I do not have children. But we Do have family adult nephews nieces friends with adult children. Keep praying but DON'T fall I to the trap of ANXIETY OR FEAR. If they see you HAPPY and content I believe they will come around faster than if they see you falling apart. Saints have said ANXIETY is NOT from God! Enjoy your children and grandchildren God understands your kids and will protect your kids because of your prayers! But stay firm in your faith by example.

If I ask them to go to church and they say no on Christmas or Easter, instead of saying how heartbroken you are, just say you will miss them. This friend who told me that said that was the last time their child did not go with them when asked.
My concern as well. Have 8 children. Only one calls themselves Catholic. A few have been at some very low points in their lives. Only the Catholic goes to Church. Keep Praying and Trusting in God. One son went from almost hating me because of believing. Now we are close and he is no longer an angry person. Remember how God heard St Monica's Prayers.
Maria Esperanza has family at my moms parish in NJ. She had visited us during her life. Our former pastor was told by her to have the faithful say psalm 91 7x a day in times of trouble. Look up psalm 91. Very powerful prayer for protection. Even if the faithful as well as the Godless perish together, remember this......its about going home after. God bless all 🙏

Father Mark I am a Catholic since birth When I was in my early 30’s I began to see the stars falling and dashing from the skies in my dreams What a scary and awesome sight. I did not know what it meant and decided if this repeated dream was from Our God surely I would find answers in the Holy Scriptures So I began reading my bible and learned that The Word of God speaks of the stars falling from the sky I have had many dreams just recently I had a dream and I saw in a desert a huge crater it was a lake and smoke drew up from it I saw soldiers in ancient clothing throwing many people casting them in I heard horrify screams and saw so much torture I was crying and myself and others were on a staircase walking downward , we came to a drop off precipice We we’re watching that horror from a distance None of us wanted to go there we were so scared. Next I was standing by the side of a narrow dirt road and a few others were standing with me I saw people in ragged clothes walking down this narrow path they looked dirty raggedy hungry exhausted yet I knew they had been chosen for a great reward They had been saved. Some looked humble and a few I thought no not him but yet yes they too had been chosen and were on the safe narrow path. I asked one man who I misjudged and asked him , hey you how did you get here also , his reply was well it’s simple ; all I had to do was ask for forgiveness he said. Wow do you believe that Father Mark The Truth The Way and The Life is that simple Oh my sweet meek and Gentle Jesus all that you ask of us are repentant hearts How amazing Truly made my heart overjoyed and thankful. They were walking barefoot on that narrow path and it was dirt and full of stones. Yet there they were walking on it. If Our Lord endured the Via Delorosa why then do we try to avoid it? Why do we shun sacrifice and hardship? Why do I always forget that? Why do I allow myself to get overwhelmed and weighed down by the nonsense of this world?
An Angel came to St. Joseph in a dream to flee with Blessed Mary & baby Jesus. You see, God was protecting this Family. He will also protect us. How? By prayer, He will show us as He did St. Joseph, what to do or where to go. St. Joseph pray for our famlies that God will lead us, as He lead you out of harm's way. God's Will be done for our lives. God Bless you Fr Mark. I have been so anxious about everything I see in the news but mostly from these prophetic visions as I trust in the ones that have validity to them. I am most anxious for the salvation of my children and their families before these chastisements come. Could you speak to that… i know we have to keep praying for them and trust in the Lord. I will be praying for your children and their families when I pray for my brothers and their families. May God hear our prayers for them. Keep doing what you are doing. A priest in my TLM parish said his parents were atheists and his grandmother contempated “kidnapping” 😅 him and his siblings to baptize and educate them about Jesus ,but he said his grandmother remembered a more powerful way to have her wish for her grand babies to come to God and that was to fast and say the rosary for her daughter and son in-law to bring the kids back to God and it worked. It took a few years but her daughter got her kids baptized and brought them to church, the grandmother’s husband didn’t repent and come back to God until his death bed when his grandson (once an atheist child now a priest) gave his grandfather the last rites on his death bed. Isn’t it amazing 😍🙏🏼🕊 God can and does work through us. Just don’t give up. Even if it doesn’t happen for a few years keep persevering. God is good. 🙏🏼🕊♥️

My mom took me on pilgrimage to Betania twice when I was a kid. (The country was a lot safer back then.) It was amazing, you could really feel the intersection of Heaven onto the earth there. I still long to go back someday. Mary appeared under the title of "Our Lady Reconciler of People and Nations" - most appropriate for the times.

Knowing God is near, even in upcoming tragedy..somehow..encourages me. :) :) I am meditating on Psalm 16 "The Lord is my chosen portion and my cup; you hold my lot. The lines have fallen for me in pleasant places, yes, I have a goodly heritage." My portion, is that "exact amount of something"-- that I need. It is mine and not anyone else's. A perfect measure that God has uniquely assigned to me. It keeps me safe. It upholds me, and enables me to fly through storms and battles, because of His constant faithfulness and strength. Praying to my holy Mother brings me back again and again to my portion, my lot, given to me by Jesus. She brings me back to Jesus, time and time again. I can't hang onto my portion without her. :) Thank you Father-you take the lid off -of my spirit, with these videos!! Keep going, and God Bless you!

When I realized all that you have stated here, it gave me courage, and has sustained me through the years. Thank you Fr Goring. In March of 2020 as this pandemic began to unravel I had a little meditation. People around me were very stressed and anxious about the pandemic. For some reason I was at peace. On that day of that meditation I had the odd thought “what if fire were to come down from the sky?” I went along with the thought still unbothered and I thought, “well if such a thing kills me then it would be the type of suffering and death necessary for me to go home.” Then I thought “what if I survive such a thing and living in the aftermath is a nightmare?” To which I thought “well then that would be the suffering necessary for me to go home at the end.” In all my thoughts the love and goodness of God, His desire for us with him and my desire for me with him was the constant assurance. Now, I believe that Jesus died on the cross for me and that is where my salvation is. I lament that I have not fully participated in God’s will in my life and have sinned. I seek forgiveness and believe in God’s forgiveness. But I am ok and no longer seek to understand but rather accept in faith what comes from God. I know where I want to go. I know where he wants me to go. I just pray for the grace to endure with a modicum of silence and obedience rather than doubts and grumbling. In the end enduring faith even in the face of horror is what I think we all need to pray for.

Father Mark, it is so reassuring to hear you. This is how I am trying to live my life. Totally for Jesus. Before this last Advent, I only prayed the Rosary about 2 or 3 times a week, if even that. For Advent I resolved to pray a daily Rosary. In late January I started to pray all 4 Mysteries every day. Now I try and pray all 4 Mysteries every day, and even if I don't get all 4, I always pray 2 or 3, and 4 or 5 days a week I do pray all 4. It is amazing how the grace of God has lead me, in Just about 4 short months to pray so much more.

The Lord will protect us. That does not mean we will live through it, but it does mean God will not leave us or forsake us. Pray, pray, pray! Maybe this can be mitigated. Also remember to pray for the souls lost in this war, and pray that people will turn back to God!

Thank you Fr. Mark! A couple of other commenters have mentioned their dreams of the end times so I’ll share mine. Sometime back in the 90s, I had a dream that my husband, mother, and I were standing on the beach where I live (get this, I wasn’t living here yet). We saw in the sky great clouds of red flames with lightening flashing in them and large balls of black globs similar to lava dropping from the sky into the Gulf of Mexico. We were not frightened just swept up with a feeling of awe and excitement. No one spoke, we were too enthralled at the site before us. It was magnificent and I’ve never forgotten it. Thank you God for the blessing of dreaming in color. Blessings to you all.
My dreams centre round unknown cities and strangely deformed landscapes, toy trains, and all sorts and quantities of THC (Lebanese,Moroccan,Afghane…). Rita, I live on the Atlantic coast of Florida and had a very similar dream two years ago. In my dream the night became day and as I looked through the curtains to see what was happening...I saw fire and lightening covering the skies to the east of me. I immediately felt a great peace come over me, and I said in my dream, "God's will be done."
I had a dream where my parants and I were in a ruined building, everything wss charred black. We came out to a great open ruined wasteland of a field, again everything charred. There was a time of dread, but then a great unimaginably large cross in the sky, if I remember correctly, it was red, yet somehow though I was initially in dread, a great reassurance and peace overtook me.
I had another vision once, long ago that is mostly fuzzy now. But people went from pushing reason against faith in God to the situation with the questioning of gender and destruction of marriage and the role of man and woman as we have seen. And pride reigning in people`s hearts as their god. A good deal of the Church meanwhile was set against itself, some attempting to lead the corruption into the Church and ignoring Her teachings, another pulling back and attempting to enshrine the past to a period of Church and calling all others evil. People turned mercy against justice when as God is both Justice and Mercy, they are One in Him. What was needed was people going out to preach and show the Christian truth by examples of love and by standing up for the Truth no matter the cost. And of course, live the Gospel.
I felt like I should tell the world but I was afraid. I saw I would try but lose my nerve and pull back due to pressure. I did that, there is an old comment of mine on one of Fr.Goring`s old videos that I replaced with and that I needed to bring it to a spiritual director. I felt like I failed, yet the Lord always told me to Trust Him, thank God I did not fail. He wanted me to wait and had sealed my tongue.
That said there was hope, St.Joseph, the Holy Rosary and the Holy Family
Also we must have obedient and child-like trust in Our Heavenly Father and to be His children and know no matter what happens, we are in His Almighty Arms. And go forth with this written on our hearts. (That is to say we must live it and know it certainly.)

As a Catholic I do not fear the end. What I fear is dying but not death. If It’s quick and instant I know I will be standing before Almighty God in judgment and hopefully he’ll have mercy on me. I too, had a dream concerning this event about 25 years ago or so. I was on my knees praying next to my bed when I looked up, and somehow, could see through my roof. I saw balls of fire falling from the sky, and when they hit the ground, they exploded like mega-ton bombs. One blew away half of my house and before another, which would have killed me, fell, I woke up. It was most terrifying, but may God’s will be done. Amen.

Maria Esperanza came to my church in New Jersey and I went to see her...I have rosary beads from that day! They gave them to all who were present... In 2010 I went to her cause to open up her beatification and brought my young son... He sat through 4 hours of the process in church! God is so awesome and has given me such amazing graces!!! Father, respectfully, what advice do you have for parents who fear for their childrens’ souls? How can we encourage them towards Christ in a world that has them so confused?
My adult children are so appalled by the priest scandal that they refuse to go to church. My daughter, oldest of 11, a labor and delivery nurse said to me, “ All of our lives, you taught us to protect children. Now you are part of a church that throws them under the bus!”
My response-this is my church and I will not abandon her in trial- just as I would not abandon my suffering family, just as I pray I would not abandon Christ on the cross.
But my faith is rooted in experience. I cannot un- know our Father. These souls are still searching. How can we help them?
So many of us in the same boat. I feel your pain. My two adult boys are the same. They have even stopped going to Christmas and Easter Mass with us. I think one still has a thread of faith but the other one is bitter. Breaks my heart. So I understand. You are not alone.
I totally understand where you are coming from despite the fact my husband and I do not have children. But we Do have family adult nephews nieces friends with adult children. Keep praying but DON'T fall I to the trap of ANXIETY OR FEAR. If they see you HAPPY and content I believe they will come around faster than if they see you falling apart. Saints have said ANXIETY is NOT from God! Enjoy your children and grandchildren God understands your kids and will protect your kids because of your prayers! But stay firm in your faith by example.

If I ask them to go to church and they say no on Christmas or Easter, instead of saying how heartbroken you are, just say you will miss them. This friend who told me that said that was the last time their child did not go with them when asked.
My concern as well. Have 8 children. Only one calls themselves Catholic. A few have been at some very low points in their lives. Only the Catholic goes to Church. Keep Praying and Trusting in God. One son went from almost hating me because of believing. Now we are close and he is no longer an angry person. Remember how God heard St Monica's Prayers.

Maria Esperanza has family at my moms parish in NJ. She had visited us during her life. Our former pastor was told by her to have the faithful say psalm 91 7x a day in times of trouble. Look up psalm 91. Very powerful prayer for protection.

Father Mark I am a Catholic since birth When I was in my early 30’s I began to see the stars falling and dashing from the skies in my dreams What a scary and awesome sight. I did not know what it meant and decided if this repeated dream was from Our God surely I would find answers in the Holy Scriptures So I began reading my bible and learned that The Word of God speaks of the stars falling from the sky I have had many dreams just recently I had a dream and I saw in a desert a huge crater it was a lake and smoke drew up from it I saw soldiers in ancient clothing throwing many people casting them in I heard horrify screams and saw so much torture I was crying and myself and others were on a staircase walking downward , we came to a drop off precipice We we’re watching that horror from a distance None of us wanted to go there we were so scared. Next I was standing by the side of a narrow dirt road and a few others were standing with me I saw people in ragged clothes walking down this narrow path they looked dirty raggedy hungry exhausted yet I knew they had been chosen for a great reward They had been saved. Some looked humble and a few I thought no not him but yet yes they too had been chosen and were on the safe narrow path. I asked one man who I misjudged and asked him , hey you how did you get here also , his reply was well it’s simple ; all I had to do was ask for forgiveness he said. Wow do you believe that Father Mark The Truth The Way and The Life is that simple Oh my sweet meek and Gentle Jesus all that you ask of us are repentant hearts How amazing Truly made my heart overjoyed and thankful. They were walking barefoot on that narrow path and it was dirt and full of stones. Yet there they were walking on it. If Our Lord endured the Via Delorosa why then do we try to avoid it? Why do we shun sacrifice and hardship? Why do I always forget that? Why do I allow myself to get overwhelmed and weighed down by the nonsense of this world?
An Angel came to St. Joseph in a dream to flee with Blessed Mary & baby Jesus. You see, God was protecting this Family. He will also protect us. How? By prayer, He will show us as He did St. Joseph, what to do or where to go. St. Joseph pray for our famlies that God will lead us, as He lead you out of harm's way. God's Will be done for our lives. God Bless you Fr Mark. I have been so anxious about everything I see in the news but mostly from these prophetic visions as I trust in the ones that have validity to them. I am most anxious for the salvation of my children and their families before these chastisements come. Could you speak to that… i know we have to keep praying for them and trust in the Lord. There is a proverb in the Bible Prov 11:21 where the second part says: “but the offspring of the just shall escape”. I pray that’s a promise from the Lotd they shall be converted!🙏🙏

I will be praying for your children and their families when I pray for my brothers and their families. May God hear our prayers for them. Keep doing what you are doing. A priest in my TLM parish said his parents were atheists and his grandmother contempated “kidnapping” 😅 him and his siblings to baptize and educate them about Jesus ,but he said his grandmother remembered a more powerful way to have her wish for her grand babies to come to God and that was to fast and say the rosary for her daughter and son in-law to bring the kids back to God and it worked. It took a few years but her daughter got her kids baptized and brought them to church, the grandmother’s husband didn’t repent and come back to God until his death bed when his grandson (once an atheist child now a priest) gave his grandfather the last rites on his death bed. Isn’t it amazing 😍🙏🏼🕊 God can and does work through us. Just don’t give up. Even if it doesn’t happen for a few years keep persevering. God is good.

My mom took me on pilgrimage to Betania twice when I was a kid. (The country was a lot safer back then.) It was amazing, you could really feel the intersection of Heaven onto the earth there. I still long to go back someday. Mary appeared under the title of "Our Lady Reconciler of People and Nations" - most appropriate for the times.
Thank you father I'm so happy I got to go to mass every morning this week and now I can go 3 evenings as well as my local priest is saying mass at night as well.

I am meditating on Psalm 16
"The Lord is my chosen portion and my cup; you hold my lot.
The lines have fallen for me in pleasant places, yes, I have a goodly heritage."
My portion, is that "exact amount of something"-- that I need. It is mine and not anyone else's. A perfect measure that God has uniquely assigned to me.
It keeps me safe. It upholds me, and enables me to fly through storms and battles, because of His constant faithfulness and strength.
Praying to my holy Mother brings me back again and again to my portion, my lot, given to me by Jesus. She brings me back to Jesus, time and time again. I can't hang onto my portion without her. :)

When I realized all that you have stated here, it gave me courage, and has sustained me through the years. In my seventies now I can say that no matter what comes "my portion and cup" IS the Lord, and it has given me so much JOY!
