Russ, I can assure you that Dean Ford, having now transition into spirit form, is bursting w/ pride that someone made such a beautiful cover--so true to his beautiful original! It's certainly one of the best covers I've heard, of ANY song, and so very few singers/musicians have the requisite extreme talent to pay adequate homage to such an original masterpiece! Bravissimo, my friend!

I still love it. I love it even more, now that I have some reflecting on my life to do, now that I am older. We often travelled to Andalusia where lots of english man lives...We where so happy there and late in the evening, at Gordons Bar....we listend to this song and felt save and sound. Thank you for that wonderful and fine tune.......

Amazing...!! I was a Senior in High School in 1969 and I remember this song very well. I haven't heard the song in decades so this was a great treat to my ears. It is well known that families that sing together have very smooth harmonies and tight timings because they are so familiar with each other and I would even say that genetics could play a role. Russ, you are a whole family of singers and musicians in one person and I could hear how your different harmonies started at exactly the same time...smooth as silk...!!
