The Sun Man manga that Saitama is reading was the first comic by the creator of OPM (One). The main villain there was also Boros, whose power grew so great that even the main hero couldn't stop him.
Some theories say that Saitama can unconsciously summon monsters with his imagination, which is how the Subterranians were created in the first episode when he dreamed of them and he also created the seaweed monster when he wanted to cook konbu soup and went shopping. Probably Boros and his gang also attacked because Saitama read about them in Sun Man and wished he could fight him.
So glad you're on season 2! I love S1, but S2 just push this anime to the ceiling! You'll love it!

@@Pokemonboy245I agree with them tbh. The animation is a huge downgrade, but from a plot and character development perspective S2 is significantly better than S1
@@Pokemonboy245 plot is much better, Garo is an outstanding antagonist, and character development is on peak! No problem with the downgrade in animation, at least for me.
Yeah i agree with yall too about plot. The actual plot starts then and Garou is an all time character. He’s great. The animation and cg was just noticeably bad right after season 1. But hey they can always make things better in the future so here’s hoping season 3 absolutely fucks
I'm sure people have said this before but you'd like Mob Psycho as well. Written by the same guy but it's about a kid who is physically weak but has crazy psychic powers. Very funny too.
Its a bit of a spoiler (and also a stretch), but Garou didn’t actually kill anyone, he just leaves them gravely injured
