- Today we spent the day at Lakeside and Marblehead, Ohio, two charming communities way up on the Marblehead Peninsula on Lake Erie’s south shore. First we went to Lakeside Chautauqua and had lunch at The Patio, and afterwards took a walk on the pier. Then we drove to the Marblehead Lighthouse, the oldest lighthouse in continuous operation on the American side of the Great Lakes. We hope you enjoy spending the day with us!

Hi Brad and Amy. It's been a while since we stopped around here. Just wanted to see what you guys were up to. We also remember what it was like to drive outside of our normal routes. 😂 We miss going out to little towns like these without a coat. This is a beautiful lake town. Love the lighthouse ❤ 70s is the perfect weather.
I have such fond memories of this day, it felt like we walked into a different world and everything was so peaceful. We would love to go back sometime! And yes you two would love it. I do love seeing lighthouses. It really was a perfect day! Thank you so much for stopping by!🤗

I just have missed your vlogs so much. Love all the throw back photos. Just love learning more about you guys. We just had a late lunch early dinner 😂. You guys need to be the spokes person for the 360!!! Great you guys are giving back to small restaurants. Always enjoy your edits as you take as along. Hey guys! Love hearing about your childhood adventures on the highway! I have similar memories of riding in the car. Always enjoy your vlogs. We have a small community near here that deal with cash. What a beautiful day to just wonder around. The town looks very quaint and small, those type of places are fun to visit. We do the same thing when taking a road trip or going out for the day. Supporting small restaurants, especially now. I’m glad you guys were able to solve the issue with the money, we’re just so used to paying with a card we don’t think about carrying cash. The sound of water is so therapeutic ☺️ I’m glad you were able to do something lovely and enjoy the beautiful weather. Love the bloopers at the end! 😂 Hope to keep seeing more vlogs from you guys ❤️

Yea, it stinks when places don’t take cards. I think they are saving money but actually they are losing customers. Reason why McDonald’s takes it. Your bonus footage was hilarious. That needs to be part of the regular vlog.

I love when I get a notification of a new video. 😍 The pop in photos were great. Prom dresses brought back memories. 👗 Brad and his brother look so much alike. Is he the oldest or youngest? And I’m glad I’m not the only one who makes all those sounds due to all that going on while driving. 😆 I get upset too when someone’s driving so slow and you can’t pass them. Especially if they had pull out in front of me when there’s was no one behind me. 😕 Lakeside Marblehead looked so nice. No wonder your parents honeymooned there. You guys are so thoughtful to want to help out a small business. It’s not very often we go somewhere and find that someone doesn’t take cards. We never carry cash anymore, so I’d been in trouble. “And I pissed my pants.” 🤣🤣 What was that from? I’m unfamiliar. Hilarious. I’m also unfamiliar with cavatelli. Is it like gnocchi? That looked like a lot of work but I bet it was very good. So great to see a new video. What a blessing. ❤️

I get startled so easily in the car, I think it's because I'm not the one driving and my nose is stuck in a book most of the time. We rarely have cash with us, it was pretty amazing Brad had exactly $27 in his wallet and the bill came to $27.80. They were very understanding about it. The 'pissed my pants' clip is from the movie "Talladega Nights" with Will Ferrell😂 Yes cavatelli is similar to gnocchi, it's sort of like a dumpling. It was sooo good!
