Been messing around with day boats all my life, both sail and power. My goal now is to spend TIME on one and put miles under the keel. Nice to dream, eh? I used the think the Selene 43 would be plenty, but this is just incredible.....wow. One of the only things I don't like about the 43 is no helm seat. This takes care of that.@@JeffMerrillYachts
Jim: Thank you. Though we no longer have her listed we continue to show her to our clients and we actually had a very strong showing this week. Thanks for your note.
Trich1526: Sorry I can’t be specific, but it varies by region and country. Most US states now have a mandatory boating safety card requirement (based on age).
why do these guys always act like they think you are gonna believe this is just the best thing since sliced bread? Most of these guys do this by rote same voice same song and dance.. Sorry I know this has to be a hard way to make a living.. but damn!
Tink: I would like to comment, but I don’t understand who you are talking about. Who are “these guys”? If you find a job that doesn’t feel like work, like I have, it’s a great way to make a living.
@@JeffMerrillYachts These guys are folks that do what you are doing.. they all seem the same.. I didn't mean to make it sound personal.. it is just your approach seems fake, ridged and not yourself.. You seem uptight and not convinced of your own words.. I guess what I am saying is you need to relax, don't seem so tense and do not talk like you are just reciting words from a script.. I am glad you are doing what you like.. That is how to work a job.. with enjoyment..
Seems to me that these guys are making simply making videos which barely introduce the yachts, their intended purpose. They’re not used car salesmen chasing you around the lot. They are knowledgeable and selling complex yachts that last over 50 years. Trust but verify; these boats are surveyed down to the gnats ass by professionals that work for you. If you want snake oil, check out the salesman in the Pacific Northwest with the teak fetish who blathers on about complex curves.
@@Slonge92 Slonge you mist understood me. I was talking about the sing song way they run through the same speech every time with the change of few words.. I know there is only so much one can say about these boats (and a lot of fellas do a great job of it) it is just a few guys voice cadence and presentation is phoney as a three dollar bill.. and if they don't seem to believe what they are saying how can they expect someone else.. As far as inspecting a gnats ass.. I don't know that.. and just because some one I don't know tells me it is so.. Well, as you said trust but verify..
Arrrrrr! Beauty
Michael: Thank you for watching!
Beautiful boat. love it.
Remy: Yes, thank you.
When I win the lotto, I will own a Selene.
Jackie: It will be a great reward for you!

Can you give us some idea of what boats like this sell for ?
John: This boat was listed for about $US1.1 million.
What kind of operator's license is required to pilot a boat this size?

Not listed because it didn’t sell but it’s still “for sale”.
STI: The current listing brokers are good friends and she is under contract and surveyed this week with a back up offer in the wings.
What happened to the first spyhop?
TrailerPark: The first Spyhop was a sailboat.
