I understood. I have *zero* chemistry education and I understood. I mostly watched because I want to understand 'ions' as a fondation for understanding weather pattern affects on behavior. Thaks!
How are the # of protons / neutrons counted by humans ? IE. How is it KNOWN there are 11 of each in Na, say, or 17 in Cl ? When these numbers were established there wasn't even electric lighting yet or electron microscopes (if that IS even used TO count them)..
Super confused on this chapter. Why are we learning this? How does any of this actually happen and do all compounds form only if there are ions? Being that they are all neutral and we are learning this
