I spent all night upset cause my daughter was upset her dad didn't call her. Even more upset at his reasoning and the things he said. I opened this video and I cried. Great video and so true. Watching this has improved my thoughts at least to know she will be ok. She will be stronger and never make his mistake. 7 year olds remember. I talk about this channel and how uplifting it is.

Getting children has become a must, a status thing.
It's a shame that many children come to this world out of parents' boredom and restlessness.
Not really having a time nor will to dedicate attention.

You should only have a kid if you truly want it, and you will be there for your kid. Starting a family just to satisfy your want to fit in is stupid, starting a family should be for your kids, not for you, with the right intent you may mentally benafit from them, but you should start a family with the desire for them to discover their own life, and just experience life.

"The things that hurt us most growing up as children, we don't have to repeat them.
The hurt and the pain from broken promises
It ends right here with me.
It ends right here with you

    On your promises!"

Oh my God. Someone spoke my mind finally. This video shows it all. You can have everything in the world but if you not fulfilling your most important mission in life in being a dad you have nothing. Your heart and your most important priorities are your wife and children ALWAYS no matter how BUSY you are and what time of the day or night it is. Children need to feel and sense that they MATTER to their parents otherwise they need that validation from elsewhere. It's so simple to understand yet so hard to do by so many. Yet life is really simple and al of that makes sense and brings you the deepest happiness fulfilled with such a deep love ❤️

The promise. Everytime my parents promised me something, I would get excited thinking they would keep it. Most of the time they didn't, and the pain that they caused me by breaking a PROMISE! MY MOM COULD SPEND HOURS WORKING WITH EVERY SINGLE PIECE OF CONCENTRATION JUST COOKING... Yet she couldn't even go to the park with for at least a few minutes... People around me have done this too. The youngest that happened was when I was 6. The term "I'm busy", reminded me of knives piercing my heart. When we the last time I wasn't neglected? Or when they took the time to listen to my poem, or at least glance at my gift at them? When I was younger, I was near a cigarette, I could've took it and smoked for the very first time under 13, but I didn't. Thank you for reading this, I'm sorry if I took your time. Please treat others how you would like to be treated. And parents, don't neglect your kids. Keep promises, please...

My Dad made no promise to me. But he was so busy working to make a living that during my young years, I rarely ever saw him. He usually left when I woke up and came back when I was sleeping at night.
And the week-end he was mostly resting. When he wasn't working on the week-end.
It's hard to remember because I was too young but I couldn't reach my father and I had a bad relationship with Mom at the time. So I felt really alone.
Sometimes people are there but its as if they are not.
And now Dad critizisme me and my brother often because we aren't becoming adult fast enough (it's true). But I wish he was more supportive. I wish I could get cheers from my father. I wish He believed in me enough to wait a bit longer without critizising. Both my parents critizise without actually giving us positive feedback so it gets tiring.
Maybe I'm just a brat complaining but
    The feelings are real

My father was in the marines for 22 years... A binged alcoholic... And very verbally and physically abusive... My father has always been my biggest oppressor... However I am not him! To this day i take care of him to prove to my inner child that I will always confront those who triedd to hurt me... By being the person they should of been in the first place.. I teach through experience and examples of daily actions, not words. He now has learned that taking care of oneself and being open hearted and mindful is a daily task... To live is a full time job, and to take away experience by others opinions weakens ones own experiences... It is properly joyful to see this change

It's funny 'cause just last Saturday, my dad called saying he'd visit me after not seeing him for a few months. He usually calls when he can't, but Sunday he did neither call nor come. I called him this week and he didn't say a word about it, but when his alcoholic girlfriend calls, he always picks up, even if he's with someone, family, friends, children, grandchildren... He constantly told me and my sister that we'd do amazing things, but he did these things with random strangers and the grandchildren of another girlfriend who stole from him, never did with us. I don't recall ever seeing him at my band shows. My mom always made sure to make fun of me whenever I didn't share her points of view. She pretty much told me to go f*ck myself after the fact that I am pro-choice came into a conversation. I just hung up the phone after that and didn't call back for months. And even after that, I still helped her and she called me lazy in an attempt at guilt-tripping me, while my grown-up sibling is usually sitting on their ass playing XBox. It took me years of therapy to accept the fact that I didn't have to get my parents' approval to be happy. I wish I could have that amazing relationship or at least respect with/for my parents, but I pretty much don't anymore and that's a grief to be made in itself. Seriously, parents need to take accountability for their action. It's not the other way around.

I always kept my promises for 50 years. Just wish I also had a family and a child to make more promises to keep. First wife of 8 years didnt want any. And now I still cannot find the girl worth marrying with all these divorces exploding like mushrooms all around us. Plus it kind of feels "late" to be a dad at 51-52. I'll probably be dead by the time my child graduates from college with the shortened life expectancy, thanks to all the gmo's, 5G, chemtrails, carcinogens in all packaged foods, etc, etc.

When a child hit puberty he must serve his father and mother even if they died he should serve them by doing good deeds on their behalf and pray for them. ( Al haumdulliah ) islam is a gift.
