I had the opportunity to honor all we’ve lost at the Ryman this week and I tried my best...7 times in a row. I really tried...
Some things just can’t be healed. Some losses can’t be reconciled and some wounds will never heal. Sometimes we don’t get closure the way we want to. All we can do is honor our predecessors and hope that we touch the hem of heaven sometime in our lives.
I wouldn’t normally sing this song but we all may need this right now and there isn’t a better place to sing it at than the Ryman. The mother church pulls things like that out of you and will tell you what to sing and when to sing it...even if you can’t. Happy Easter, love to you all

U know if people could see with the heart they would know I am here because of him I have top of my heart left bottom being made to work cause of a pacemaker 30% of heart I been this way since 2015 heart attack God bless everyone I am 59 doctor told me 1 month ago live your life 4 1/2 years left on pacemaker if I am strong enough then they will change it but heart has not got better so please pray for me thanks God bless to who ever gets this God is and always will be

The thing I love about Ashley Mcbryde is she DOESN'T need any instruments or backup singer's. She's pure talent. I actually started listening to her music because of a performance I came across on RUclips it was just her and a guitar and I have been a fan ever since.

I had several time's where I am close to death. Many harms done. People even doctor's say I'm Lucky to be Alive. No it's God who gave me the strength to keep going. Which this particular song hits me hard in my heart & close to me in my life. It reminds me each day to be thankful no matter what comes or does not. I'm alive thanks to God & the one's who sacrificed to give me this. No matter what you just keep being thankful for all even if it's the worst wrongs you've come into. I am I could be dead but God & I refuse to give up courage strength comes at a big cost in this life.

I miss my mother this EASTER as I do ever year since she left for heaven. Hearing this soul touching version right of Amazing Grace I closed my eyes and I was back in the church I grew up in and she was standing and sing right beside me. Thank you, its what I needed to hear this Easter.

Also especially I think that Johnny Cash and his wife June Carter Cash with their love of sacred gospel singing music in their 1970's beautiful gospel country concerts would be looking down at your song and would be so proud of you as a country artist. Thankyou Ashley for your county music. You will be as great as the Late Kenny Rodgers and Dolly Parton and off course you fill the the shoes of the late Highwaymen, Cash and Waylon Jennings. Kris Kristofferson, Willie Nelson with your old style county bluegrass style and as good as the ladies of country, Emmylou Harris, Lorreta Lynn, Tammy Wynette, Kitty Wells etc with you written songs.
