I put mine together in a day. When it came time to put grill on legs I didn't have another person who could lift so I took the tops off the grills and that made it easier with my 10yr old daughter guiding the back in. I ❤ the grill grates and cast iron skillet. Have not smoked anything yet, but soon.
Thanks for a great/ honest review on this grill. I am looking at one. How have the stainless steel burners held up? I saw a review that said they rusted out in one year. Can you buy replacement burners from Cuisinart? Thanks!!
Thank you for taking the time to watch. For me, I’ve not had any issues. Grant it I have the grill cover and it’s under a car port. Replacement parts are readily available from what I’ve seen. Good luck With your purchase
Thank you! I’ve not been able to use my pellet side. It keeps popping the fuse after 90 seconds. They’re shipping me a new control panel. But I feel it’s the fire pot or wiring. Follow up review will come later.
Great Video!! Question, what is the dimensions of the gas side? Looking to purchase a charcoal tray but the grill isn't scheduled for delivery until next Saturday. Thanks in advance 👍🏻
You wouldn’t want to any wider that 18x15. Check out my follow up review, I have some closer shots on it while cooking with the griddle. Thanks for the comment! I’m sure you’ll enjoy it!!
@@TheKOreport Already watched & liked it, lol! Thank you! FYI, thanks for the follow up video and the tips on the issues. We'll be sure to keep an eye out for any similar issues.
Great review - 2 questions - how many racks of ribs will fit on the pellet side. 2nd question how low of a temperature can I get on the propane side ? Thanks
I big slab of ribs diagonal. If you cut them, maybe two slabs. The gas side, I would just use one burner. It will cook them quicker. As for a temp, it’s still close to 375
I went with Twin Oaks. One of the reasons is simply cuz the smoker/plug is on the left side and that's where my plug is I would have to run an extension cord for alot of others were the smoker/plug is on the right.
A total of 900 square inches of cooking area counting both sides and the upper rack. Does that help or were you looking for square inches?? Thanks for watching and engaging
Does anybody have problems with the temperature on the screen ? I will set mine for 200 but it will increase to 280 and sometimes more, can’t find anything about it!
The plug in is to run the auger and burner for the pellets. Pellet cooking can be used to smoke (slow cook) or you can turn up the temperature and use it like a charcoal grill. There are different pellets with flavoring added to them to give your meats a different taste.
This grill sucks ass! The pellet grill hardly ever works, plug it in and nothing, every now and then it will work. Now the propane side does just fine. Regret buying the POS!

@TheKOreport Thanks for the reply
Nice video. I used mine for the first time yesterday. So far I love it.

Just picked one up at Walmart for 199 bucks...regularly 525... Can't wait to use it!!!
I’m sure you’ll love it
When are you going to post your follow up report? Kinda stuck in between the pit boss kc platinum combo or the twin oaks.
Hopefully next week. We’ve had a cold snap here. We even had snow at the next county over. So I plan to hit the follow up then.

Thank you kindly that helps
Can you use both sides as a grill? Or is it one side a smoker and other side is a grill only?
Yes and yes. You can use both sides but one will be “smoked heat” which you can turn up pretty high.
Can you close the lids with the warming racks up?
Yes
I went with Twin Oaks. One of the reasons is simply cuz the smoker/plug is on the left side and that's where my plug is I would have to run an extension cord for alot of others were the smoker/plug is on the right.
I still use mine regularly and still love it
Great upload where I can buy this can’t find on Walmart
Hmmmmm there may be a newer model now, I’m not sure. Have you looked online? Thanks for watching, commenting, and the compliment
Wait for them to go on clearance and you can get them for $200
what are the entire grill dimensions ??
A total of 900 square inches of cooking area counting both sides and the upper rack. Does that help or were you looking for square inches??
Thanks for watching and engaging
This thing is incredible you can have my traeger
Got this one and so far I have been pretty happy with it.
I have an issue but it’s in the process of working out. I’ll talk about it more in my follow up. Glad you like it!!
I look forward to it.
do you still like it after 9 months? I am in the market, Pro/Cons? Thanks
Tell me more about plugging the grill up you never did it in your video I just purchase one of these grills
Only plug it up to use it. It will burn our your fire rod if you leave it plugged in.
Where did you get it? Thanks for the video
I picked it up at the local Walmart. Be sure you have help to load and unload. The box is heavy and somewhat bulky.
But where's the grease trap for the smoker I can't find it now it's leaking all over the ground
It collects on the deflectors from the heat. I wash them after every other use.
I can get one for $350 should I do it?
Absolutely!!
where :)
@@Lulu-ql6mm Blackfoot Idaho it’s gone now
I don’t mean to brag but I just bought the last two floor models for me and my father-in-law from Walmart for $200 a piece on Saturday 😂
@@ajdixon6519 nice how do they seem to be holding up?
Video missed a lot of features and descriptions but I appreciate the time to do the video.
What are the dimensions of the two grills?
Does anybody have problems with the temperature on the screen ? I will set mine for 200 but it will increase to 280 and sometimes more, can’t find anything about it!
That sounds like it may be the display. All the electronics attache to the back of it. I would start there.
I a very an ERP message. Any suggestions how to fix?
I’m not sure exactly what your asking. You’re getting an error message? ERR??
is the griddle pre seasond
Not that I’m aware of
I can tell by his voice that he makes good meat
Do you still like it?
I do! I use it regularly.
Can you convert it to natural gas?
I’m unsure, natural gas isn’t available anywhere near where we live.
Great video! Just FYI Cuisinart is pronounced KWEEZ-in-art.
Dang it! My yankee friend was right! Thanks for clarifying.
@@TheKOreport that was funny......definitely a pronunciation I have never heard, hey we are all unique in our own way
Great reviw!...but did you say "gas chamber side"...DOH!!! In case you meat aint dead, put it in the gas chamber side, then cook... xD
😂
Oops 😬
Does the griddle attachment fit over the side burner?
It fits on the gas side. Too big for the side burner. Very heavy cast iron too
Can somebody help me how to turn the light on ? I set up everything but the light doesn’t turn on :(
BBASED must be pluged in electric and on left klik on gas button it has light picture
I plug it and the fan turns on but no light comes on
Finally! Someone who can pronounce Cuisinart correctly.
I got mine on clearance at Wal-Mart for $200
Sweet!! I’d buy a second one for that price myself
How do you use the electric side? I just got one and I don’t understand how to use it
The plug in is to run the auger and burner for the pellets. Pellet cooking can be used to smoke (slow cook) or you can turn up the temperature and use it like a charcoal grill. There are different pellets with flavoring added to them to give your meats a different taste.
