Why would he play in the NBA? He's probably making $500k in China... He'd make similar in the NBA, and that's IF he can get a two way contract. At least in China, he's getting solid playing time. For a guy who has incredible talents, and glaring flaws, China is probably a good fit. He's probably happier dominating in China than sitting on the bench in the NBA. That's the interesting thing about basketball becoming a global sport.... if someone can play top level college ball, they can probably also play professional basketball, somewhere. It's still solid money...
Because he's slow and teams would just abuse him in the pick and rolls and shoot threes because he can't guard perimeter at all. He would have been really good like 30 years ago where the pace was slow and teams didn't shoot threes, but in the current era he's unplayable.
