That, my friend was a brilliant video that summed up the race perfectly. I even felt my legs twinge at the prospect of the climb out as you descended just before Portreath. Well done on the finish and an even bigger well done for the final push for the gold buckle. Thank you for sharing the memories of this incredibly tough but stunning race. Cheers
That's just one amazing family bond ♥️ u're such a lucky man having such a great supporting family next to you. Great memory from this event which is on my bucket list as well some day
What an amazing, emotional video you created here. Brought a tear to my eye. Huge congratulations for your monumental achievement :-) Double thumbs up from me.
Still my favourite video of the arc which convinced me to do this in 2019 and 2020. With the plague canx this year and the arc my only race entered in the calendar thought I’d watch this again for some inspiration. It worked with that warm feeling of wanting to get back to it , looking forward to the AOA 2021!
Huge Congrats on a brilliant video Steve . I live in Cornwall ; and was part of the Mud Crew support team who mapped out the Hayle Dunes part of the last leg of the course between Hayle and Godrevy ...... so happy that you managed to follow the poles , and reach the finish at Porthtowan. Massive respect to you for completing such a mega tough race in an excellent time !!
Another brilliant race video Steve! Having supported friends for the past couple of years on the Arc I have massive respect for the huge challenge! Congrats on an outrageous achievement!
I've got tears!!! That was sooooo moving!! What an incredible achievement , I'm sure even all these years later it still gives you a thrill to think about it!!! What a wonderful video too, just awe inspiring, which I found thanks to Ben from Time On Feet!!
Well done sir, we'll done! Beautiful, Inspiring and amazingly shot. Thank you to your family for their support in the darkest times. Most people don't realize what it takes to go that far in those conditions and how much it means to have support when you are so down and out. Great job everyone....
What a moving and inspirational video Steve. +1 for your achievement and for posting it too! The choice of soundtrack was stunning. Best piece of music I have heard for some time! Love your films
Love how you dub out the 'Thank F#$k for that' at 12:40 when you realise you made it in under 30 :D Amazing achievement! Great videos :) I see you are doing The Plague again this year, enjoy maybe bump into you there
Only just watched this !!! Well done mate !! Great achievement !! Your videos give me such inspiration and drive to get out on these different trails and races !!! Big thumbs up 👍
Film My Run that's great news - congratulations on an amazing achievement. A lot of your videos have inspired me to get out and run, as well as helping choose which ultras to enter!
+gooba007 I always keep my good karma with me. Bad karma I leave at home. This was filmed using a Zhiyun Evo gimbal. I do have a Karma Grip but it's not good for running. If I'm not filming and it's a shortish run (anything up to 50 miles) I just hold it in my hand. Longer runs I will sometimes put it in my backpack.
