Cadillac has chosen a unique and unconventional program called the Escala, which will be handcrafted at the Warren Tech Center, with a focus on high quality and craftsmanship. This new project required new knowledge and skills, especially in Design Quality and Global Design. @tubecars1107
This is absolutely stunning. This is what Cadillac should have gone with instead of that monstrosity/Celestiq.
Cadillac forever comes out at auto shows with a concept that just WOWS car enthusiasts... Then proceeds to show up with a dud-version of it at the dealership
Some of the design on the concept will not get approved my the government to drive on public street, by the time it reaches the dealer looks totally diffrent.
The concept only is used to drive the wow factor. They never become a production car.
They showed the Cadillac CTS coupe as a concept and pretty much made it into production as is. But that was the last time. El Miraj, the Ciel and Escala: Still just concepts. So sad.

That’s because they make certain specs that are not legal to do in the United state they have to make modifications legal for the country, yeah I know it’s F’d up.
However they have to do it, Cadillac needs to bring this car to life and show the world that Cadillac can truly build a top notch luxury car to rival the Europeans.

Wow Caddy! This may be the first Caddy if put into production that can actually win over some Mercedes and BMW drivers. Certainly a lot better looking.
I wanted it 4 yrs ago but they kept it as a concept car it’s to late now I got something that I really enjoy the E53AMG is a dream car and now I am happy.

You sound like a dreamer…..😜 The Escala never did reach production, GM's global transition to EVs forcing yet another program pivot, with Cadillac earmarked as “the tip of the spear.” Instead, the Escala program would morph into the Cadillac Celestiq.
Cadillac continues showing this stunning, marvelous car only in the exhibitions and media since few years and yet not even produced for marketing, which is against the cadillac heritage and reliability

This is a beautiful show car I really liked it from the first time I saw it five years ago or so I don’t think it’s coming to production
I maybe alone on this but the round look the new caddys have, I CAN'T STAND. The squarish/shape models they abandoned around 2019 was their best. These new Cadillacs look more like Chryslers now.

Incredibly refined. An Escalade with this type of finish would be easily be one of the top 3 SUVs of all time.
Sumptuously Exquisite. Not a bad turn of line anywhere. Over the top detailing and flow of lines. For some reason I'm trying to figure why reminds me of my first car a 1948 62-Series Cadillac convertible Maroon on Maroon with a tan top. Thai Flathead purred. I know why it reminds of the 48' Svelte flowing elegance. Jewel like accoutrements. Bravo Cadillac design.
It is a pillarless hardtop. Would have been nice to see it with the windows down.

Wow it’s beautiful. The question left is it made with quality in the ride, the manufactured quality, the endurance. I love 4 seater sedans, i have one now a mb cls400 and i love it. In fact, i am a single guy and 4 doors and 4 seats is all i’m interested in, no crowding.

This is way more attractive than the Celestiq . I wish GM had made this instead, and at a reasonable price that the average rich could buy and not just the super-rich. It would be so nice to see these on the road every day. Would be such a nice break from all the bloated ugly SUV’s. But unfortunately that was too much to hope for.

Beautiful car... but this is an old concept car from 2016. It was gonna be the CT8 sedan, but it was cancelled. Which makes this video clickbait.
The new Celestiq EV supposedly took some design cues, but this one looks way better in my opinion.

Yeah looks good but as always. These car manufacturers always made concept car and will never put it on the market.
This would make the world take notice, but maybe Cadillac doesn't want that attention, then they have to constantly live up to that higher standard of class than they're used to. 🤷♂️

They will never put this concept into production. Its only used as a wow factor for hype. I have a 2022 C8 Corvette for example. Chevrolet finally designed and built a American Exotic car.
My last Cadillac was a 1982 Eldorado Biarritz.
Recently bought a 2024 Genesis G90 E Supercharged. They sent a tech specialist to our home run through and train us on the entire tech system. Its crazy amazing! Power auto open and close doors, down to the cup holders being heated and cooled for you beverages. It's obvious they are going after Bentley and Rolls Royce.

anyone trying to find more info online. its not called Escala anymore, as its named the Celestiq. its nice but dont think its worth $340k

It’s is a beautiful car, but the interior does not scream luxury, starting with the steering wheel. The front grill needs a little something extra.

This is a stunning Cadillac. I wish the headlights were larger. Living in the countryside one needs to see any deer running in front of you. A few have crossed my path over the years. I hope it comes with a moonroof too. I never thought I’d see the day where Cadillac would design a car that I would find stunning. They finally have. My luck it will be overpriced, electric & not a production model. I must say I was surprised by the hatchback part. Curious about drivetrain & engine. Now if Lincoln could do this for the MKZ.
Those headlights are about the same as the ones on current ct4-5 and they are bright af!

If Cadillac was smart, they would focus the future on EVs and have a division of ICE like MBZ has AMG and BMW has the M series. The Escalade IQ, Lyriq and celestiq are gorgeous.

This wasn’t approved for production. Instead we got the electric Celystiq. Which is also pretty cool.
