Man, I just got my NEET PG result. All because of so much of reservation, hardworking doctors like me are not getting my speciality seat. Why to even have reservation at PG exam level, all the appearing students are qualified MBBS doctors, all went through the same MBBS curriculum, then why do even need to give reservations! Why students getting ranks around 1,00,000 are getting clinical branches and students getting 35,000 rank are out of the competition just because they are from general category. Why does the govt think that we general category people can afford Pvt college's hefty fees. There are no scholarship programs, no consideration of MBBS performance, no consideration of their practical expertise. I know many students who have never attende a single class while doing MBBS, got into MD/MS by applying through SC/ST/OBS/Ews categories. Pvt institutes asks for almost 1 cr as a fee for MD/MS. What is my fault? That I am an MBBS doctor from general category!? Even these pvt institutions have a poor quality MD/MS programmes. Low stipend, poor quality education, some hospitals have very low patient intake. Then why would a good MBBS graduate spend almost 20LPA tution fees for three years and surplus charges for hostel and stuff, cant even leave the seat as there is a seat leaving bond of 50 lakhs, then after that 2 years rural bond if not done pay almost 30-50 lakhs and then also think about super speciality. This is no less than Bandhau majduri. Dont even ask about the quality and safety of govt and pvt medical colleges. No doctor like would be staying in the country. I'd rather give USMLE, AMC, PLAB and not even look back here.

I feel you bro I got 618 this year but I can't afford semi govt college so I am just confused what to do 😢this system is just corrupted

What he is telling is very right.. Spot on.. despite not being doctor.. due to competition, students have to spend years, then Rural service, more years gone, rhythm for preparation for next level specialization gone, more years gone.. career gone, life gone.. on the other side, 1cr pvt mgmt seats coming out in large number without proper training. Just give more salary and make Rural service voluntary. Those who like it will take it.
