If anything can be said about Marc Jacobs is a designer who is consistent in his original idea. And Louis Vuitton, a brand that has the means to strengthen this idea. Very good runway show. Finely spun, luxurious without being pompous. Excellent materials and visual integrity. -

the great gatsby was the 1920s....i don't know of why i thought of daisy the whole time..hmm... and you could tell there was a struggle with the arch of the shoe. the coats were amazing and the suits. i loved the longer hemlines...but wouldn't be caught dead in a slip dress but overall great collection and presentation
intimate atmosphere of the bourgeoisie....and also, the song reminds me a litttle the music from chanel haute couture spring/summer this year...just a little...this is different

But do try comparing them at Style.com though, it's strikingly similar. Phelps also outlines Jacobs never hid his admiration for Prada. Trend forecasters' jobs are to guide designers which looks and items will sell. Hence the glittery coats, 1920's mood, New Look silhouettes and wet hair for both collections.
It's like the show was.....better when she finally stepped out of the door. It was as if she were saying, "this is how it's done girls". She is definetly an amazing model. Smart move having her in the show.
