First Time listening I was like "WTF is this shit?" and as the season continued I liked those songs more and more xD But I'm agreeing with all the other commenters. Fairy Tail is my favorite anime ever, watching this video literally made me cry with emotion. My favorite opening is "Masayume Chansing" more than anything because of how well it fits with what is happening in the series at that moment. I have never been so happy than watching this video ♥♥♥
FT openings have their own vibe. Just by watching the openings, it's hard to feel the whole atmosphere of the song and how emotional it is, but after watching it, listening to the openings is much more pleasant ps. Also in FT the best soundtracks and the most emotional soundtracks, I advise you to listen to some of them
Fairy Tail was the first anime I picked up 7 years ago.. And I'm so glad I did.. Many people don't like it.. and they have thier fair share of reasons not to.. But for me it always holds a special place in my heart.. As for the openings.. It just reminds me of all those emotions I went through (which I was not expecting from an animated show).. Some of them are not musically that catchy.. but if you are watching the anime.. it'll just hit different.. Watched numerous anime in all these years and FT is still one of my fav ❤️👆🏼

Fairy Tail is definitely one of those anime for me that the OP's got a lot better later, the main thing that keeps me listening to a lot of the older ones is definitely the nostalgia factor but I've just never been a fan of Rock City Boy. In general though most anime which are on the long side with a lot of OP's will tend to be like this; the ones you don't care about, the ones which are nice and you might listen to them from time to time then there are the ones which become a permanent fixture in a playlist or two. That's why I enjoy longer anime, they have a lot of time to experiment with different types of openings because I definitely know a bunch of OP's to 12 episode anime which kind of just dampened my interest in the show.
Ive seen tons of reactions of fairy tail and i normally like that people try to guess whats happening or focus on the characters, but i really loved how you took your approach to the openings music and how you always kept in sync with them, you got a new subscriber!

The amount of times I've re-watched Fairy Tail is definitely not healthy. It's just one of those animes you can watch for a good pick-me-up when you feel a bit low. It gets a fair amount of hate but if you look past a lot of the bullshit and power through the first-ish season (perhaps bias from the amount of times I've had to watch the first few episodes) it really does hit all the feelings. If by any chance you were to watch it, I'm not too sure it would be particularly commentary worthy. It's really just one to enjoy in chosen company.

If I could recommend anime, it would be Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood, Steins Gate, Re:Zero and One Piece. All of these are beloved classics and I would love to see you react to them!
I'll mention it again in the hopes that it will be one of the next ones - would really recommend reacting to Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood (or, optionally Fullmetal Alchemist and Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood together, but Brotherhood is the more important one). The 5 Brotherhood openings are great songs but also really good at conveying a sense of the overall story. The first and fifth openings of Brotherhood I just think are beautiful

FT. The 3rd opening is by far my most favorite. Because it is what i first heard when Fairy Tail was introduced to me. Fairy Tail has helped me go through many problems. Taught me so many lessons esp about friends and family. This anime will forever be my all time favorite. (Not that you need to know but i shared anyways, so yeh hahha sorry)

fairy tail is one of those shows where the plot isnt that greatly written. the overarching plot and the final 2-3 arcs are great but the execution of the plot is pretty poor but it never fails to uplift your spirit and i appreciate that
This is a great summary of Fairy Tail, and why I wish it wouldn't get hated on so much by the anime community. Yes, Fairy Tail is objectively not good, it's flawed, and can be a real mess, and the power scaling makes absolutely no sense. But God damn, if it doesn't just try it's hardest to pump feel-good vibes into you. The entire message of Fairy Tail stems from the concept of friendship and bonds, and in the end, that's all its trying to show, and in that regard, it shows it spectacularly. Of all the friendships I've seen in anime, the friendships between the characters of Fairy Tail are some of the most believable. I recommend Nux Taku's video on Fairy Tail to anyone who hasn't seen it.
Erza’s theme song from this show is one of my favorite anime music ever. It just fits her fighting style so well and every time I imagine her flying across a sprawling battlefield.

this is probably one of the best 2010-2015 shounen anime out there along FullMetal Brotherhood. the characters are well written especially the females. Probably after attack on titan I rec Fairy tail and full metal alchemist brotherhood to ur must watch list.

This is one of my favorite shows It has really good plot to it in my opinion and really picks up. It's also really underrated and hated so much for the power of friendship which happens in maybe 4 fights throughout the whole show but overall it's a pretty good series
Strike back and snow fairy are probably my favorites. Down by law and Ashita are close follow ups. As for next stuffs, Rezero openings along with the insert songs. or Honkai impact 3rd animated shorts, ideally with japanese dub. There wont be any context since its a mobile game, but the animations + every song they drop with them are absolute fucking fire.

Fairy Tale's openings are representative of the anime: hints of greatness but it rarely commits, and despite the shortcomings you can get reeeally into it sometimes.
I can't ever pick a favorite opening from fairy tail because I started watching 6 years ago and over that time I've heard these openings hundreds of times and I've learned to love even the ones I disliked. Fairy tail is so nostalgic for me and I cry every time I come back to watch these openings again. Also, I did reccommend these openings a few times in the comments.

FT openings have their own vibe. Just by watching the openings, it's hard to feel the whole atmosphere of the song and how emotional it is, but after watching it, listening to the openings is much more pleasant
ps. Also in FT the best soundtracks and the most emotional soundtracks, I advise you to listen to some of them
Fairy Tail was the first anime I picked up 7 years ago.. And I'm so glad I did.. Many people don't like it.. and they have thier fair share of reasons not to.. But for me it always holds a special place in my heart.. As for the openings.. It just reminds me of all those emotions I went through (which I was not expecting from an animated show).. Some of them are not musically that catchy.. but if you are watching the anime.. it'll just hit different.. Watched numerous anime in all these years and FT is still one of my fav ❤️👆🏼

Fairy Tail is definitely one of those anime for me that the OP's got a lot better later, the main thing that keeps me listening to a lot of the older ones is definitely the nostalgia factor but I've just never been a fan of Rock City Boy.
In general though most anime which are on the long side with a lot of OP's will tend to be like this; the ones you don't care about, the ones which are nice and you might listen to them from time to time then there are the ones which become a permanent fixture in a playlist or two. That's why I enjoy longer anime, they have a lot of time to experiment with different types of openings because I definitely know a bunch of OP's to 12 episode anime which kind of just dampened my interest in the show.
Ive seen tons of reactions of fairy tail and i normally like that people try to guess whats happening or focus on the characters, but i really loved how you took your approach to the openings music and how you always kept in sync with them, you got a new subscriber!

Ah yes, the power of friendship can do that to a person I guess. If you’re going a more natural good feel One Piece is definitely the way to go lol. Not saying you should watch one piece if you haven’t already. You wouldn’t be able to enjoy any other anime anymore.
Most of the songs you dont really like it when you hear them once but then they get really catchy and you start to love them all also if u watch the show it makes them way better
partially what makes them good is the sense of nostalgia when u hear them again after finishing the series.

The amount of times I've re-watched Fairy Tail is definitely not healthy. It's just one of those animes you can watch for a good pick-me-up when you feel a bit low. It gets a fair amount of hate but if you look past a lot of the bullshit and power through the first-ish season (perhaps bias from the amount of times I've had to watch the first few episodes) it really does hit all the feelings.
If by any chance you were to watch it, I'm not too sure it would be particularly commentary worthy. It's really just one to enjoy in chosen company.
As someone who is a fan of Fairy Tail, the bullshit is definitely not only in the first season lol.

I'll mention it again in the hopes that it will be one of the next ones - would really recommend reacting to Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood (or, optionally Fullmetal Alchemist and Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood together, but Brotherhood is the more important one). The 5 Brotherhood openings are great songs but also really good at conveying a sense of the overall story. The first and fifth openings of Brotherhood I just think are beautiful

I’m so glad you love Strike Back! That’s one of my absolute favorite openings (though Power of a Dream and Down by Law are probably my top favorites). Evidence was a good one too. I love that one (the Daisy x Daisy one) and of course Ashita Wo Narase (the Fairy Tail Zero OP. So damn good)

FT. The 3rd opening is by far my most favorite. Because it is what i first heard when Fairy Tail was introduced to me. Fairy Tail has helped me go through many problems. Taught me so many lessons esp about friends and family. This anime will forever be my all time favorite. (Not that you need to know but i shared anyways, so yeh hahha sorry)

True the plot may not be as good as other animes but you have to agree that this is one of the animes with the best friendship goals
fairy tail is one of those shows where the plot isnt that greatly written. the overarching plot and the final 2-3 arcs are great but the execution of the plot is pretty poor but it never fails to uplift your spirit and i appreciate that

This is a great summary of Fairy Tail, and why I wish it wouldn't get hated on so much by the anime community.
Yes, Fairy Tail is objectively not good, it's flawed, and can be a real mess, and the power scaling makes absolutely no sense.
But God damn, if it doesn't just try it's hardest to pump feel-good vibes into you. The entire message of Fairy Tail stems from the concept of friendship and bonds, and in the end, that's all its trying to show, and in that regard, it shows it spectacularly. Of all the friendships I've seen in anime, the friendships between the characters of Fairy Tail are some of the most believable.
I recommend Nux Taku's video on Fairy Tail to anyone who hasn't seen it.

this is probably one of the best 2010-2015 shounen anime out there along FullMetal Brotherhood. the characters are well written especially the females. Probably after attack on titan I rec Fairy tail and full metal alchemist brotherhood to ur must watch list.

Fairy Tale's openings are representative of the anime: hints of greatness but it rarely commits, and despite the shortcomings you can get reeeally into it sometimes.
I can't ever pick a favorite opening from fairy tail because I started watching 6 years ago and over that time I've heard these openings hundreds of times and I've learned to love even the ones I disliked. Fairy tail is so nostalgic for me and I cry every time I come back to watch these openings again. Also, I did reccommend these openings a few times in the comments.
the final opening, "more than like" is my personal favorite, it feels perfect to wrap everything up!
