I too can relate to this. She too reminded me of a dear freind who helped me find a prom date when I was a student at a local Catholic high school. I was an unpopular dude who asked out an unpoplular girl who much to my surprise said yes to my offer. This took place in May of 1972. One week later that same dear freind who helped me find that date was also killed in a head on car collision by a drunk driver on the outskirts of Piqua, Ohio. The entire student body sorrowfully wept.. including myself...she was such a profound and unconditionally loving young lady (who just like Olivia) had a sweet and tender voice. I even cried at her gravesite many years later when I was having a really bad day....and when I wept, I felt a soft tender hand caressing my back realizing it was her spirit consoling me! To this day I visit her grave on occasions when I'm having a bad day. Rest in peace Mary Lee Koon ..Lehman Catholic High School class of 1972 (1953-1972)
Olivia looks exactly like a friend and boss I worked for who was killed in a car crash alongside another colleague I worked with in 1981, 40 years ago this year 2001 on the tenth of march. I remember it like it was yesterday as I spoke with her 15 minutes before it happened. I should have been in the car later that day. I miss her. She was so nice to me. I've seen Olivia also perform for the Newcastle, Australia earthquake concert in Sydney. She's even wearing similar clothes that she wore.
i loved her when i was in the 11th grade and i used to watch her videos especially at the beverly center mall and there was a big screen tv in the Broadway dept store and they played her videos every night and i was there faithfully every night at 7;00 and i knew her music in the seventies s well . im still a huge fan...
