you cant just put the needles on there, you gotta recalibrate it, or else everything will read wrong I know this because the previous owner of my car was a dumbass and put new gague faces OVER the old ones, and nothing reads correctly I'm gonna tell you how to properly recalibrate it 1) gas fill up your gas, and at the gas station, pop the needle on, when your tank is 100%full 2) oil dummy gague, pop it at 12 o clock position when the car is warm 3) coolant, THE CAR HAS TO BE AT IDLE TEMPERATURE LEAVE THE CAR RUNNING FOR 15 MINUTES OR SO or go drive then pop it at the 11:30 position 4) speedo, go to 60mph use a GPS or a friend next to you on the highway to help you get up to speed, when your friend confirms you are at 60, quickly pop the needle at 60, OR put your cruise control on, and leisurely pop that sucker in there at 60. 5) tachometer this one depends on your transmission, because if you read under your hood, the auto sais something about 850rpm, and the manual sais something about top dead center, If you have an obd2 miata, use a scanner, its easier, but for us obd1 peasants, you gotta use a sears engine tester, and pray you hook the green wire up to the coil negative or neutral point, or maybe the tach wire behind the dash, IN ALL, JUST POP IT AT 850 AFTER ITS WARM
