This video gave me the courage to reconsider gauges. I thought the install would be more difficult. I wasn’t aware the lights were relocated, I thought they were removed. 👍
Hey, I have an 02 Demio, being a Mazda it's the same process. I have a black dash, got a white one. Got the faces out from the parts dash but out of 4 motors I broke 3. Don't have the special tool, used two screwdrivers, is that why I broke them, or is it old age? Now I'm scared to do the main thing.
Because the needles naturally want to rotate past the zero position when the car is off. So if you put them at zero with the car off the needles would move up the dial when you turned the car on.

It also depends on what gauge faces you get. Some are stock position and some are relocated. The listing should say what that gauge set requires

Why can't you put the needles in when they are in the 0 position and the car is off?
