yup this update looks good but is beyond frustrating.
the pre game lobby is gone.
the looting system is complete garbage now when it was amazing before.
and the respawn system is complete trash now especially dropping and getting wiped and not getting a 2nd chance now and half the people dont even wait to be rebooted lol
the new look is good especially on the main screen
but bring back the pre game lobbies. bring back the old looting system and the 2nd chance drop but leave in the respawners for after the 2nd chance
this is just too much.
just be thankful, this is probably their last update, because apparently the game is preparing for shutdown

me and my friends left the game after jetpacks removal, i saw this video to check if it's worth considering again to find out we can't even play as a full squad of 4 anymore, wow. great decisions indeed.
I played this because of jetpacks since it was so different than other games.
I played just two months December and Jan but when they remove our emotions I deleted it 😢
They just wanna turn their game into apex for no reason. First it was getting rid of jetpacks, then adding a slide mechanic, then adding a select animation and now getting rid of squads. So now we have duos, and trios(Just like apex). This game lost its identity months ago, so dont play it anymore. I only play this game because I miss playing apex on console but my console broke so yea.

To further shorten the matchmaking time instead of giving us option to choose from 3 maps you can cycle all 3 maps every hour so we get to play every map and player base isn't divided among maps

Crazy thing is I never even knew about Lampton until they released Sunder. I disliked it enough that I went to unselect it and saw Lampton for the first time.
Lampton is such a fun map and people don't even know it exists because they always default you to the newest map. A rotation would make sense.
They tried to reduce matching by removing respawns... Now we play 5 minutes and go back to matching. These guys are idiots.
That new map is rancid, it's obvious to see it was spat out by an algorithm
This update really is the worst you could have done to this game.. the jepack loss was hard, but after a few matches, it was okay without. but NOW? the way to grab weapons, the look of the backpack, the weird leveling of the different things in there, the respawn pod, the mods that are for certain weapons only... now it`s just like the average BR, may I go back to PUBG or fortnite 🤷♀

With an average of 3K players leaving the game monthly, since its Steam release, this is the update that would kill definitely the entire player base. Is not even anymore Farlight 84. I know that you tried... BUT. My friends and I (8 of us) will be leaving the game. We can no longer play two teams of 4 players. In the first minute, if you fail to lower the capsule, 2 out of 3 people die and there is no point in playing further. System l LOOT now takes a lot of time. Have you added shadows to characters' faces, but removed shadows from all objects on the map? It feels like you are running across a flat picture. WHERE IS MY FAVORITE PHANTOM SKIN? What's wrong with her FACE? What's the point of this revitalization capsule if it's useless? No one is waiting for the capsule, or they will kill everyone at once and this is simply impossible! I'm crying, I'm hysterical. I'm silent about the font. Put everything back the way it was... I believe you will fix this. Thanks for the good time... Happy Birthday...
Never seen a game with such high potential fall so damn hard. Not because of pay to win, not because of unbalance, not because of lag or in game bugs...but because of the literal worst developers. What happened???? And why are you guys not listening to the community??? We play the game so make it the way WE want it, not how you think it'll make it better. please bring back the one who created this game. I don't believe he is the one working on these updates. Atleast make something what players want. Every update you guys bring something good and destroy another one. Why are you guys working soo hard for this, just maintain the servers and DO NOTHING. After the jet removal the performance of this game is like bitcoin halving....I usually dont comment on games i play . But in each update i lose my control..

And that was the legit argument devs gave, people find it "difficult" and "oppressive" to deal with jetpacks fast movement, that is in the patch notes. Go read it. This kidos wouldn't last a second in a GUNZ lobby, like back in the day, don't talk to me about skill issues bro, this game is being dumb down cuz the majority of players are playing in phones and using only 2 thumbs to try to hit something, and they need those players more than the rest to keep the cash flowing.

The fck is with is game update the recoil, the loot system, weapon mods, auto respawn, squad mode. Down right to minute detail like literally everything got worsened I was using my defender and stellar wind the usual, but the recoil is insane, and the firing rate is unresponsive it's like Bar95. Just revert everything and keep the battle pass. And the UI men it's look like a mobile what the fck.

Before they removed the boosters, we all played 4-squad team, since they removed it, very few people play it and that is why it takes a while to match squad mode

Bring back the lobby. The loading screen for matches is so blurry and far away. Words are very tiny and hard to read. The character POV is off center which is throwing me off. Also phantoms camo optical is glitchy and turns off randomly giving away my position. Maychells tower has too much things going on and its hard to see the enemies when their close by and i just end up looking like some bot. 😢 every update the graphics change the players can never navagate thw game properly because of this. Also you stated at 10:34 in video that once all members of team is eliminated the can return ti battlefield or if one is eliminated wait 60 seconds for respawn but that is not the case?!!. FIX IT😡. Please figure out the kind of game style/look you want f84 to be because your devs seem very confused and cant make up their minds. So much for an anniversary update. Not pleased. Go back to the drawing board this aint it.
Players choose trio mode more than squad mode. Are you sure about that? As far as I know, the squad ranking was way ahead of the trio and duo rankings.

yes it is, they have data on that rather than just from personal experience
but it's pretty simple to see why tho, this game isn't big while there's a lot of other game choice especially with online shooters genre nowadays, most peoples can only que solo, duo or trio if your circle of friends aren't dedicated to play squads on this game, & having like 2-3 randoms on squad, when even legends tier plays with no coms & being ass is infurriating most of the times
also 1 man down have more impact for the team in duo & trio, yet u can hone your teamworks easier cuz u have less peoples on your team, & then u have better chance to comeback from losing rather than solo against squads, so in terms of fun, trio is more fun than squads when u get used to it, it strangely more addicting for most people
also duo & trios have more teams every matchup means more peoples will be eliminated more frequently in normal scenario, so more peoples sent back to lobby & more frequent requeue that may can helps the game 's more
Now this game has also introduced those chunky and hard to grasp weapon system😮💨
The three last update, you have remove ALL good and original functionality (jetpack, respawn.........). Please listen players.
Not gonna lie game feels clunky as F after the update, guns are awkward, bar shoots 10 feet under where you aim and snipers all together are worthless now

I'm a mobile user, what crappy font is this that they put in some parts (the letters are too small), can't even read the items, my device is lagging even with the graphics on smooth and with the resolution at the lowest possible. And to top it off, they decreased the game's FOV

I really hope there will be solo mode sooner or later, because that's where I enjoy the game, not relying on your team just pure based skill against other players. Hope next 6 months or this December this will be implemented soon.

I have a problem while launching farlight 84 game on my pc. On the loading screen where there is a progress bar, the game gets stuck at 0% and ends up freezing my entire pc and the only way to exit the game when that happens is to restart the entire pc. Can you help me on this issue. I've even tried reinstalling the game and this issue keeps on coming back.
What are you devs doing this update is worse than the last one no respawn, bad movement, speed reduction, bad gun recoil and its lagging you guys destroyed the game listening to us could solve all your problems but no. I'm done complaining and done with farlight

I'm playing this game with my husband, but recently my husband can't see Maychelle's sound bomb effects if he doesn't enter the game from the phone with Hdr setting. However, I also want to say that there is a serious heating and contraction problem on the devices, stating that we use ipad pro and iphone 14 pro. Update crashes and lags during matches... than when I re-enter the game, my screen turns pitch black, than it drops me through the map and I end up in water, than I respawn back where I was when it kicked me out

Each update game is getting trash firstly rmved jetpacks Secondly rmved passive skills of the characters. After this new update my game crashed 5 times and no 2nd revive all is there was unlimited revival time I mean this is completely trash I prefer old revival version and gun optimization back to trash again rework the game pls

После этой обновы я полностью отказываюсь от игры, удаляю её к чертям и отписываюсь от всех групп чтобы больше о ней не слышать. Еще ни за одну игру мне не было так обидно, как за эту. Да и впринципе никто не позволял себе такой кастрации своего проекта.
Щас же в очередной раз изменили интерфейс в игре и лобби, сделали неудобный лутинг, сломали балистику (с бара фиг попадешь теперь). Ну вы бл адекватные нет? Нам что, с каждым вашим патчем переучиваться играть, переучивать расположение кнопок в интерфейсе, привыкать к новым рескинам или что? Но что забило последний гвоздь, это сраный поиск. Толи остатки игроков ушли, толи что, но сейчас это уже не 3-5 минут максимум - это 10 минут минимум сраного поиска (поэтому они и убрали счетчик времени подбора). Это просто жесть. Спасибо фаре за прекрасные деньки, классные механики на старте, простую но удобную балистику, прикольную стилистику и вообще за свежий глоток в батлроялях, когда он так был нужен. Прощай, останешься в сердечке у меня надолго😘
how is adding the OLD school phantom sniper skill NEW again?
Well now they've added extra head armor so snipers are borderline useless anyway! Here's a new (old) skill that we've completely ruined!
@@EasyMac308 what you meant to say is that now sniper headshots are not op anymore and that a lucky headshot wont be enough. snipers not being able to one shot full hp players is not a bad thing. they are most definitely still usefull. they wont sacrifice balanced gameplay for a few sniper mains.
@@amapestilo3039 Again, the developers are trying to force everyone into a single play style - everyone get in a tight circle and mash buttons. May the highest reaction time win. I've gone literal days without seeing a 4x or 8x scope or a BAR in the game since the previous update. I'm not a hardcore player, and I don't do CQB well.
I'm not sure what you're talking about, because sniping has always been a high difficulty/high reward endeavor. Even on my best days I'm usually two-shotting people or just picking them off after they're already weakened. If jetpacks hadn't been removed it would be easy enough for someone to bounce after the first shot.
As far as optic camo goes, requiring the weapon be holstered removes 80% of its utility. If I'm using it to sneak on someone I'm using an SMG to blast them, not counting on a single shot from a sniper.
I've also never, in all my game play, seen an entire team use optic camo effectively. Sometimes you'll cast it and one other person will get the idea, but most of the time the rest of the squad still opens fire at the wrong time.
Since the jetpack update, every update has been less and less fun. It's fine, I get that adult men in their 40s playing casually on PC without a group of friends aren't the target market, but it's also incredibly disappointing to see something I really enjoyed taken away.

Looks like they heard the jump slide sneak thing from the survey I took nice
I am getting stuck while playing the game ( 4 gb ram). It is taking time to enter the car and get out. When I look at the map, missions are visible, bring them back. And when I look at the map, a settings option was visible, bring that back as well.
JETPACK IDEA: Why not have a dash charge that activates when pressing the jump button twice and dashes the player in the direction they`re moving? That would mitigate the need to have a dash button and at the same time allow Maggie to have skills like the other heroes. Also makes it easier to escape certain abilities. Another idea is to make the jetslide accelerate the player as they`re sliding so that it actually feels like the jetpack is being utilized which would improve mobility.
Beloved Farlight, please do not continue destroying the game 🙏🏻 with your updates and rework of your characters. At this moment I feel sad and laughing at the same time, but more sad 🥺 Every update instead of making me happy makes me want to cry

But it seems each update makes it worse. What differentiated farlight from other games was the jets packs and now they're gone. Now there's no more 4 player.
The game is just getting more tedious the more it goes on. After jetpack removal, it just got worse, for 1 good thing ,they do 5 bad.
This patch we have :
limiting player resources with packs unless you grab them you'll have low bullets and meds. Nobody asked for this garbage.
Phantom ultimate being completely useless for teamates, the speed is just garbage, when the whole point of phantom is to AMBUSH people with her team.
Phantom CANNOT SHOOT while in stealth and the weapon is holstered, great, so an even more useless ult. You get 1 chance while in stealth to shoot someone in the head with a sniper, now even that got removed. Might as well just delete the skill with how useless it is.
Getting slowed while getting shot.
They only keep making the game more tedious and slow to play. No jetpack, getting slowed by bullets , like holy crap they're just geniuses on ruining their own game.
Since 2024 started, they only ruined the game. Guess changing the dev team for Farlight 84 had to be one of the dumbest idea ever.
Oh and the game is getting worse, the player numbers show. They went from 14.6k concurrent players on january, to 2.6k now. Yeap really improving the game.

The Revival device is good but you guys should add redeploy zip lines or some sort of redeploy Mechanic to Reposition or to rotate on the map it's hard to get around I know there's Vehicles but a redeploy to get around would be nice
please adjust the sniper, i cant aim properly im using pc, sniper its hard now since its been updated
i used to do quick snipe but the handling is bad
