I'm thinking it is a 89-91, very nice interior, I like the cage. I have a 91 that is getting close to trail ready but still undecided on tire size.(35 or 37) .
Love the 'Burb. Awesome tires. What size are those? I didn't know they made them in that size. I had some in the 53" when I had rockwells under my J10 Jeep.
What size tires? how tall is the lift? is that paint on the floors or like spray bedliner? i can tell you just took the panels off the back doors and painted, but what did you do to the front? i can't exactly tell from the video. sorry for the 20 questions. I have an 89 and yours is set up pretty similar to what I had in mind for mine. looks awesome!
how is she military of she dont have the slave cable hook up the diesel, or the oversized fuel inlit? sweet motor by the way but looks small. the 6.2 diesel takes up almost the whole engine bay
all that space in the back seems a bit of a waste, wouldnt u be better with a blazer or do u just like suburbans? nice car btw. what mpg do u get? 10-15?
@Hardtailxxx Oh yeah, the beginning of the tbi era, but still in the real utility era. They'll never make them like that again, all i see now is more f'ing plastic body's, aluminum engines, and un-tunable systems every year, i need to get one before its too late. I knew someone with an 87 once, i drooled over the thought of owning a monster like that! It has an iron block engine in it right?
Military "wannabe" Suburban. Its not even an accurate build to the Military Specs of the CUCV, since your obviously trying to duplicate that. Its a good hunting rig, though.
This is undoubtedly the most badass vehicle I have ever set my eyes upon.
The military never used the Suburban in the CUCV role. But nice work, looks and sounds frickin sweeet! I'm jealous! Haha!
I just found your videos, nice job on the burb! inspired me to finish my 86 K20 burb..
Video def needs some more door slamming.
