How to Lower the Apex on a Princess Seam

Thank you so so much! I am working on a historical pattern and could not wrap my brain around lowering the very curvy princess seams without changing the beautiful curves. Boxing the darts, no matter where the are, made it click

Hi my apex is 3" lower than the pattern, any idea how to move the apex , if I were to move it down, it almost reaches the waistline !!! So i am not sure how to go about it. Thank you.

You may want to also add a bit of length to the bodice in this case as well. I would do this before lowering the apex!
