Hey man just watched a couple of your videos and I had two questions, how long did it take you to build the 1/18 Huey and how long did it take you to build the 1/18 Harrier? I was wondering the amount of time it takes to complete one of these models before getting one. Thanks in advance! Great job btw!!
thanks for the feedback, both the 1/18 are not really models they are just deconstructed toys as they are the same parts as in the old 21st toys. So the build time is not as long as a comparable "normal" model like the 1/24 airfix mossie (see my video on my channel) but there is a lot of room for mods and detailing if you have the lust. Out of the box with no mods with a moderate standard of build i would guesstimate 20 hours build time in total no including painting. Either way i would recommend both to build and have some fun with. I would start with the huey as the harrier is more complex and the huey will give you a understanding how hobby think

It's the only 1/18 Harrier most people will ever be able to own. I'm just glad it exists. Mine's in the box ready for assembly! Yah!

The Huey took me about 20 hours, 5 of which were spent just sorting parts for pre-painting.
