BlackBaloo I can verify that the bamboo island works pretty well. You just run around scaring the crickets and warf roaches until more spiders appear.^_^
A note on peacock butterflies: absolutely DO have your blue or dark flowers spread out. The game isn’t going to spawn a bunch of peacock butterflies in one place if you have a ton of those flowers in one spot. HOWEVER, if you have just one of those flowers spread out just off screen from one another, the game will often have another butterfly spawned when you move around. This way ensures that no matter where you go, there can be a butterfly waiting for you.
Jaymee Allen by placing the right type and color flowers next to each other and watering them, there is a chance they will spawn a hybrid color next to it the next morning. For example two white hyacinths makes a blue one.

i did the whole turnip thing. I went on discord, found some lovely people that gave me a dodo code to their island where timmy and tommy were buying turnips for 600 bells and now i have 20 million bells :))) it’s the most efficient and quickest way to make bells ♥️
you go on discord and join the animal crossing new horizons server, and then one of the tabs for the server is called ‘turnips selling’ or smth like that. then there’s a wholeeeee bunch of people posting their timmy and tommy prices and you can pick one :)) simply dm them and they’ll provide you with their island dodo code. they do ask for a tip though which is nothing compared to what you’ll be making haha. hope this helps ♥️
There is actually a legitimate "tarantula island", where there is an area of land in the middle of the island with water all around it. Spawns 4 tarantulas at all times.

They do. I've tried clearing out everything on a level 3 island, digging holes to prevent mole crickets, all that fun jazz. Tarantulas do spawn, but just not as much. That's for me at least, but I've seen youtubers having much luck.
Blue Egg Yes. Bamboo island doesn’t have any rivers or ponds. The only thing you have to work with is a flat surface and possibly tiger beetles taking up spawns.
Here’s what I recommend: Going to mystery islands until you get an island WITHOUT your native fruit, take all of them and plant them on your island. This way you have a supply on your island. Non-native fruits get you ALOT of bells, so I do this a lot!

I did it twice last night . Ye takes a bit longer if the island has a river because you have to remove the water bug by catching em , but it is still valid .

Craft bunny day furniture with all the extra eggs. I have a stack of 30 of each set aside for bunny day. The rest gets crafted into items to sell. Make about 50k-100k a day on furniture
another way to make money : This isn’t very fast but can make you a bit of money if you are barely starting off. - Collect Manila Shells from the beach with a shovel (you should see dark spots and dig those up) - Once your inventory is full you can sell the shells for 100 bells or.. - Make the shells into fish bait. You will have the recipe after collecting one of these shells. - Find out when expensive fish spawn and where to collect as many of these expensive fish as possible. - I’ve been doing this for a bit and I’m about to get Isabelle on the island and I’m doing this right now so I can start terraforming my island soon. Once again, this isn’t the easiest or fastest way to make bells but you don’t have to be far in the game to do this. You just need access to a shovel and a fishing rod and you’re good.
I was gonna take it easy playing animal crossing...like chill and take a quiet stroll on the beach, maybe catch some fish. However seeing how pimped out everybody's islands are, I felt necessary to accumulate bells, I have now joined the rat race. NOOOOooOOoooOooOOo!!!
A strategy that I’ve been using recently is planting bell trees, once you plant one it will triple your amount that you planted. Therefore if you plant 100,000 you will get 300,000 bells. I like to time travel to make it easier
made an extensive guide on how to make money fast from one of gamespot’s other new horizons videos. - while catching fish, try to fill most of your inventory with uncommon and/ or rare fish (i.e. red snappers, barred knifejaws, oarfish, etc), seeing as they cost more bells than the exceedingly common horse mackerel or sea bass, which only sell for less than 500 bells a piece. - when catching bugs, maintain the same mindset. ignore things like common butterflies, yellow butterflies and tiger butterflies. try to keep an eye out for more uncommon bugs like orchid mantises, peacock butterflies, emperor butterflies, tarantulas, etc. remember that certain bugs only come out during certain times of the day- and often times during a certain time of the year! so try to catch these high-valued bugs while you can and sell your catches to the nooklings. - if you’re struggling to find any fish at all, feel free to find manila clams at the beaches. these can be used to craft fish bait, which spawns better fish- again, these can be sold for a good price to the nooklings in nook’s cranny. - however, before selling your fish and insects to the nooklings, scan the island for either flick or cj. these two buy fish and bugs off your hands for a 50% markup! however, the appearance of these two npcs is exceedingly rare, as some people have played the game before it released to the public and have only seen them one or twice if they were lucky enough. but getting the most bang out of your bell is always best for you in the long run. - every day, one rock on your island will produce bells when you hit it with any type of shovel. however, a good technique to make sure you maximize your rewards from the rock (which can be hit eight times at most) is to dig a whole or two next to each other behind you, seeing as your character will recoil and back up slightly every time you hit the rock. after the first 3-4 times you hit it, the rewards will go from 100-500 bells to 1000-3000 bells, meaning could walk away every day with about 16,100 bells if it is done correctly. so make sure you hit that rock exactly eight times without fail to maximize your reward! - cash in 2000 nook miles to obtain a nook miles ticket. these can be used to send your character to new uncharted islands filled to the brim with money-making opportunities. there are more rocks to hit with your shovel to get iron nuggets and stone, there are unique fish and bugs for you to catch. on occasion, there are uncommon islands with unique items on them. some islands have bamboo on them, which is rare to have on your average new horizons island. some islands have new fruits that might be unobtainable on your island, thereby making said fruits more valuable to the nooklings. on the flip-side of things, you can bring some of the fruits and/ or bamboo back to you island to grow and harvest without investing in nook miles tickets in order to get more of it. some islands have exceedingly high amounts of money rocks and some could even be infested with rare fish and tarantulas, so be sure to keep your net and fishing rod in good condition for this! again, the uncommon islands are fairly rare and stumbling across one on your first few tickets says a lot about your luck. i recommend emptying your pockets of everything but the essentials in order to maximize what you get from these islands. try to visit a new island at least 1-2 times a day. but if you have the needed nook miles, there’s nothing stopping you from going more times than that. - if you know a friend or three that own new horizons, feel free to visit their island in order to acquire non-native fruits. again, non-native fruits sell for higher prices at nook’s cranny. this can be any fruit besides coconuts, which universally sell for 250 bells a piece. non-native fruits all sell for twice as much. again, they can also be planted in your own island in order to widen the array of fruits on your island. once the fruit grows, you’ll be able to sell the new foreign fruits on your island for a good price on a consistent basis. - you can plant bells in glowing spots on the ground. soon, money trees should sprout! you can earn up to 3000 bells off of one tree. - new fossils appear all across your island everyday. digging them up, assessing them and donating them to blathers after (and even before) he opens up his museum is nice, but after assessing them, you’re able to sell said fossils to the nooklings for at least 2000 bells a piece! - every sunday, daisy mae comes to your island to sell turnips. the idea is to buy turnips from her for a small amount of bells and sell them to the nooklings when you can. however, the price for said turnips varies from the morning and the afternoon, so try your best to sell them twice every sunday. if you sell an excessive amount to the nooklings, you should walk away with a decent profit; sometimes over 50K bells! - after tom nook and the nooklings open up nook’s cranny, they will offer a varying “hot item”. the hot item sells to the shop for double the price. but again, the hot item changes everyday. so if you have excess wood, iron nuggets and other essential materials, you should be able to craft the hot item several times and sell to the nooklings for a fairly decent amount of bells; often times between 10,000-15,000 bells! a common recommendation is to craft the hot item once and sell it to see how much you’ll get if you sell a high amount of them. from there, you can determine whether or not crafting and selling the hot item is worth your time. - **these money-making techniques are also a good way to promptly and efficiently progress through the game...also a good time-killer**
Money trees can go from 3,000 bells to your max wallet size, it just depends on how much you're willing to wait for the money to grow or just use time travel to get well over 200,000 bells by planting 99,999 bells in the gold hole

okay my way of making money fast involves time traveling so if you're not about that I'm sorry :/ so the process involves money trees so depending on how many trees you want to grow, you need 10,000 bells to grow the tree initially step 1: time travel 1 day from your starting day and find the glowing spot that you can dig up (make sure you have 10,000 bells in your inventory) and once you dug up the 1,000 bells, bury the 10,000 bells in the hole step 2: find any fossils or non-native fruit that you can sell to get you even more money to grow a second tree the next day step 3: time travel one more day ahead and find the new glowing money spot, repeat steps 1 and 2 step 4: once you time traveled the amount of days with how many trees you want, from the day that you planted the last tree, time travel 5 days ahead and all of the money trees you grew should be fully developed (they each give you 30,000 bells so depending on how many trees you grew is how much money you can get, also you can get a bunch of money from the fossils you find that you don't need to donate to the museum and the non native fruit that you pluck off trees that you sell this usually makes me 200,000 bells when I plant five trees so you can do it however long you want
Yeah, I’ve found it to still work but it just takes a longer time since water bugs and the blue bugs (I forget what they are called) spawn more often than tarantulas
Planting a bunch of fruit trees is a good way of earning bells, especially when 1st starting out a stack of 10 oranges (which is my native fruit) gives me 800 bells now that's not much on its own but if u have a field of fruit trees each harvest can bring in around 30k bells
another good way is selling your native fruit on a friend's island. I sold 99 and got 49,500 bells. You do have to wait a bit, but you can also just grow more trees.

I am not wasting my time turning a random island into a tarantula island especially since it is no longer possible. I am also not interested in discord. I am just gonna keep doing what I am doing. Hot item of the day can net pretty good money, too. Iron wall lamp or mini dyi workbench are great if you get them.
Tarantula island worked like a charm!! I did that last weekend. It takes awhile though and it’s best to visit a flat island if possible. It’s easier to see the tarantulas that way.
If you have a lot of nook miles, instead of buying a bell voucher for around 3000, buy a ticket to a mystery island. Getting EVERYTHING, including wood and picking flowers gives you around 20,000 bells. And just picking the fruit and weeds and flowers gives around 10,000
My money making method is swimming in the water and hunt for sea creatures. Takes about 20 minutes to fill up an inventory (with the max inventory space). I sell it for about 25k-40k per inventory, depends on what I find. :) Pretty quick and easy.
I think I know something that can get you a lot of money. It’s digging fossils, 4 fossils spawn on your island each day and they usually sell for about 3000 to 6000 bells it depends on the fossil you find.
Something I've found is that there is a glitch with time skipping where you can get CJ on your island for more than one day in a row. Selling fish to him gives plenty of cash. Not the most efficient way but if you like fishing it's good
CJ and Flick are both great ways to make money. I don't really care for fishing but if CJ is on my island I'm literally fishing all day to get them sweet bells 💰 and since the Bug Off is on the 25th I've been catching bugs like crazy and saving them in my inventory to sell to Flick. I have over 200 bugs right now 😂
The fastest way for me to earn money that I use is selling a bunch of the fruits that I got off other islands. I've planted a lot and can get a fair enough of money
Another thing: ive had like 300 pumpkin plants on my island, empty out your inventory and pick pumpkins and sell them, Ive made 300,000 (an inventory makes 100,000)
When I'm desperate for cash I travel back in time and pick every weed, flower, fruit, branch, rock, iron, fossil, seashell, bug bell voucher etc. and sell them, shells and fruit are the quickest and sell the highest. That way when I save and travel to present time I haven't missed anything.
I usually empty my pockets and go diving for everything I can find. A full bag usually nets me 40,000+ bells and I can do it as many times a day as I want
guys a great method for bells is getting nook miles tickets and getting non native fruits! one non native fruit to your island (besides coconuts) = 500 bells coconuts however go for 250 bells a fruit, repeating this overtime could make you a millionare fast 🥰
fruit orchard. do some island hopping and get your secondary fruit and plant a few hundred of them on your island. you can sell every non-native fruit for 500 bells each! Millions every three days :) (try pumpkins and coconuts too! they sell for 250 bells each.)
You all probably won't see this comment but plant any veggie and time travel a few days, after crops are ready, harvest ur fruit tree and sell to Timmy and Tommy,this trick is really good if you want to get quick and fast bells.i got 31k bells from carrots and potatoes with 30 peaches.
It should be noted that tarantulas currently cannot spawn in the southern hemisphere. They'll start spawning in May, which in turn will mean they'll stop spawning in the northern hemisphere. I think this info is very important and should have been included, to avoid people in the southern hemisphere trying the tarantula island tip and wasting their time AND people in the northern hemisphere doing the same after May.
If you don't like time-travelling, my method isn't going to be fast. Get a lot of fully grown pumpkin plants on your island and unnative fruit trees. You can sell the pumpkins and fruit for quite a lot of bells. For example: I started with 5000 bells and once I was done on my first day I was on around 62000 bells. It's quite slow and you have to do quite a lot of time-travelling but considering I don't have many nookmiles and Nintendo Switch Online, it's quite good. (To get the fruit trees, I went to my brother's island from Local play).

The way how I get money is get that sloth person on you island then pick all the weeds from you island and sell them to him. He takes them for 25 bells each

The sparkles in the ground are money bags that u can dig up, AND if you bury it again or any sum of Money I nfact while the hole is still sparkling it turns into a money tree sprout and triples the amount of money because like the fruits there are 3 of them on each tree same goes for money bags!

I had just started my free trial Nintendo online, so I joined the AC discord to connect and maximize my online usage while I can. I had max 300k bells in my saving waiting to be spent on my 500k loan, but then a balloon floated by and gave me an extra illuminated reindeer diy. Being successful doesn't need to be the idea, unless you really want it to. It depends on what your goals are, what catches your interest. A ton of bells, the biggest house, the hybrid flowers you want, the coolest layout, only villagers you like (that last one was generally my aim in New Leaf), completing the museum... so many goals, and you can just meander through them. I played New Leaf for years and years, and never messed with the stalk market, or the interior house challenges, or a bunch of other things. You can time-travel to make things happen faster, or you can just take it a day at a time if you like. Online groups are a good place to read about new tricks and stuff. Reddit, even Facebook has dedicated AC groups. Googling the game and reading random articles helps as well. It's a fun place to have a completely different life, which is kinda great right now.

For some people, (like me) I don’t always need a bunch of money, but instead, I enjoy doing the same things everyday with a daily goal in mind, like paying off a construction project I’m working on or setting up a flower garden with furniture. I just make money as I go. Some days I earn a lot and deposit it in my account, other days I barely get anything and spent the entire day fishing and catching bugs that are low value. It just depends on how you enjoy playing the game. There is no right or wrong way with this game. 😊
@@CandycaneBeyond Many RUclipsrs/streamers have progressed really far already by cheating. There was a duplication glitch that people abused to make millions. And you can still change the time in your switch settings to 'time jump' in game to increase your interest in your bank, over and over until you are rich. That and they have an audience that would gladly help them out by giving them items, money, access to their island, etc. That's not cheating, but it does make it easier to accomplish things. Just saying though, you shouldn't worry and compare your progress to theirs, especially the to the people that cheated/had a lot of help to get everything as quickly as possible. But anyhow, I'm sure you're doing just fine. If needed, some tips like these in the video and some in the comments can help you play more efficiently and progress faster without resorting to cheating. Personally I'm against cheating. I just wouldn't feel like I accomplished anything if I cheating to get something, but it's up to the individual.
Another way is to sell hot items of the day to timmy and tommy in nook’s cranny. I also plant 30.000 bells as plants. I also sell assessed fossils if it is incorporated in my museum already.
I have an orchard of 200 cherry trees. And my native fruit is apple so 1 cherry goes for about 500. So each day I painstakingly Harvest all 200 and sell and it comes up to 300,000 a day really easy
Lobster hunting!! Each lobster earns you 4,500 bells, they're available between 4pm to 9am I believe, if you start the game early and go diving, you might find this super fast shadow that struggles for you to catch. Easier method is to approach the shadow without pressing A, just slowly move your stick to the shadow and when you're close, press Y to dive and you can catch them easily without running around!
Ok, the turnip marker traumatized me until I got into the pumpkin market. You basically buy pumpkins from Leif and resell them (you can wait or time travel) (For 41 pumpkins plants, after a collect of 1 pumpkin my plant I got 24.000 bells)
Bugs in water or exist because of fresh river water will still continue to spawn. So your best bet is probably to save a ton of nookmiles, buy lots of nook miles tickets(don't spend all your nookmiles though), and try your luck for a bamboo island, which doesn't have any rivers and ponds and is completely flat. It would be easier for you to force spawn the scorpions and tarantulas here. And apparently, you can still force them to spawn even after 7 to 4. I have personal experience with this but I'm not sure if it would work for everyone
another method is, try buying pumkins from leaf, let them grow and then sell them. they give a good amount of bells. i recomend buying atleast 20/30 pumkin starts. theres my method!
A good method: fossils, having a lot of them and when sold give somewhat big bucks. It does however come with 2 steps, (1) must have all fossils discovered and recorded in museum, (2) if done #1 then make sure to sell the fossils when they get examined than in their not so examined state.
1) Get 100 pumpkins from Leif 2) water pumpkins every day 3) sell all pumkins for 100,000 bells Every 2nd or 3rd day you get 100,000 bells in total because pumkins are worth 35 each x 100= 35,000 bells (if you dont water them). Water them every day means x3 pumkins so you will get the right amount.
My method is making a foreign fruit farm. I place a lot of Cherry Trees (Oranges are my native fruit) close together and after picking all the cherries, I hit 100K and that’s one every 3 days.
I made almost 2 million bells off of Flick. Have a huge garden in my front yard so I spawn peacock butterflies like crazy, collected over 100 in a day once. Had gotten the legit tarantula island twice so saved up everything and sold to Flick for a a ton. Also I like to save my rare fish for when CJ visits.
Not really a method but I do a lot of hunting for rare fish and bugs to make a critter room, and I get a ton of other creatures in the process. I know it’s not a lot to all the stalk market peeps, but I’m only on my second week so making like, 200,000 bells a day isn’t bad for me.

They do. I've tried clearing out everything on a level 3 island, digging holes to prevent mole crickets, all that fun jazz. Tarantulas do spawn, but just not as much. That's for me at least, but I've seen youtubers having much luck.

Blue Egg Yes. Bamboo island doesn’t have any rivers or ponds. The only thing you have to work with is a flat surface and possibly tiger beetles taking up spawns.
Here’s what I recommend: Going to mystery islands until you get an island WITHOUT your native fruit, take all of them and plant them on your island. This way you have a supply on your island. Non-native fruits get you ALOT of bells, so I do this a lot!

Craft bunny day furniture with all the extra eggs. I have a stack of 30 of each set aside for bunny day. The rest gets crafted into items to sell. Make about 50k-100k a day on furniture
another way to make money :
This isn’t very fast but can make you a bit of money if you are barely starting off.
- Collect Manila Shells from the beach with a shovel (you should see dark spots and dig those up)
- Once your inventory is full you can sell the shells for 100 bells or..
- Make the shells into fish bait. You will have the recipe after collecting one of these shells.
- Find out when expensive fish spawn and where to collect as many of these expensive fish as possible.
- I’ve been doing this for a bit and I’m about to get Isabelle on the island and I’m doing this right now so I can start terraforming my island soon. Once again, this isn’t the easiest or fastest way to make bells but you don’t have to be far in the game to do this. You just need access to a shovel and a fishing rod and you’re good.

I was gonna take it easy playing animal crossing...like chill and take a quiet stroll on the beach, maybe catch some fish. However seeing how pimped out everybody's islands are, I felt necessary to accumulate bells, I have now joined the rat race. NOOOOooOOoooOooOOo!!!
A strategy that I’ve been using recently is planting bell trees, once you plant one it will triple your amount that you planted. Therefore if you plant 100,000 you will get 300,000 bells. I like to time travel to make it easier

made an extensive guide on how to make money fast from one of gamespot’s other new horizons videos. - while catching fish, try to fill most of your inventory with uncommon and/ or rare fish (i.e. red snappers, barred knifejaws, oarfish, etc), seeing as they cost more bells than the exceedingly common horse mackerel or sea bass, which only sell for less than 500 bells a piece.
- when catching bugs, maintain the same mindset. ignore things like common butterflies, yellow butterflies and tiger butterflies. try to keep an eye out for more uncommon bugs like orchid mantises, peacock butterflies, emperor butterflies, tarantulas, etc. remember that certain bugs only come out during certain times of the day- and often times during a certain time of the year! so try to catch these high-valued bugs while you can and sell your catches to the nooklings.
- if you’re struggling to find any fish at all, feel free to find manila clams at the beaches. these can be used to craft fish bait, which spawns better fish- again, these can be sold for a good price to the nooklings in nook’s cranny.
- however, before selling your fish and insects to the nooklings, scan the island for either flick or cj. these two buy fish and bugs off your hands for a 50% markup! however, the appearance of these two npcs is exceedingly rare, as some people have played the game before it released to the public and have only seen them one or twice if they were lucky enough. but getting the most bang out of your bell is always best for you in the long run.
- every day, one rock on your island will produce bells when you hit it with any type of shovel. however, a good technique to make sure you maximize your rewards from the rock (which can be hit eight times at most) is to dig a whole or two next to each other behind you, seeing as your character will recoil and back up slightly every time you hit the rock. after the first 3-4 times you hit it, the rewards will go from 100-500 bells to 1000-3000 bells, meaning could walk away every day with about 16,100 bells if it is done correctly. so make sure you hit that rock exactly eight times without fail to maximize your reward!
- cash in 2000 nook miles to obtain a nook miles ticket. these can be used to send your character to new uncharted islands filled to the brim with money-making opportunities. there are more rocks to hit with your shovel to get iron nuggets and stone, there are unique fish and bugs for you to catch. on occasion, there are uncommon islands with unique items on them. some islands have bamboo on them, which is rare to have on your average new horizons island. some islands have new fruits that might be unobtainable on your island, thereby making said fruits more valuable to the nooklings. on the flip-side of things, you can bring some of the fruits and/ or bamboo back to you island to grow and harvest without investing in nook miles tickets in order to get more of it. some islands have exceedingly high amounts of money rocks and some could even be infested with rare fish and tarantulas, so be sure to keep your net and fishing rod in good condition for this! again, the uncommon islands are fairly rare and stumbling across one on your first few tickets says a lot about your luck. i recommend emptying your pockets of everything but the essentials in order to maximize what you get from these islands. try to visit a new island at least 1-2 times a day. but if you have the needed nook miles, there’s nothing stopping you from going more times than that.
- if you know a friend or three that own new horizons, feel free to visit their island in order to acquire non-native fruits. again, non-native fruits sell for higher prices at nook’s cranny. this can be any fruit besides coconuts, which universally sell for 250 bells a piece. non-native fruits all sell for twice as much. again, they can also be planted in your own island in order to widen the array of fruits on your island. once the fruit grows, you’ll be able to sell the new foreign fruits on your island for a good price on a consistent basis.
- you can plant bells in glowing spots on the ground. soon, money trees should sprout! you can earn up to 3000 bells off of one tree.
- new fossils appear all across your island everyday. digging them up, assessing them and donating them to blathers after (and even before) he opens up his museum is nice, but after assessing them, you’re able to sell said fossils to the nooklings for at least 2000 bells a piece!
- every sunday, daisy mae comes to your island to sell turnips. the idea is to buy turnips from her for a small amount of bells and sell them to the nooklings when you can. however, the price for said turnips varies from the morning and the afternoon, so try your best to sell them twice every sunday. if you sell an excessive amount to the nooklings, you should walk away with a decent profit; sometimes over 50K bells!
- after tom nook and the nooklings open up nook’s cranny, they will offer a varying “hot item”. the hot item sells to the shop for double the price. but again, the hot item changes everyday. so if you have excess wood, iron nuggets and other essential materials, you should be able to craft the hot item several times and sell to the nooklings for a fairly decent amount of bells; often times between 10,000-15,000 bells! a common recommendation is to craft the hot item once and sell it to see how much you’ll get if you sell a high amount of them. from there, you can determine whether or not crafting and selling the hot item is worth your time.
- **these money-making techniques are also a good way to promptly and efficiently progress through the game...also a good time-killer**

Money trees can go from 3,000 bells to your max wallet size, it just depends on how much you're willing to wait for the money to grow or just use time travel to get well over 200,000 bells by planting 99,999 bells in the gold hole

okay my way of making money fast involves time traveling so if you're not about that I'm sorry :/
so the process involves money trees so depending on how many trees you want to grow, you need 10,000 bells to grow the tree initially
step 1: time travel 1 day from your starting day and find the glowing spot that you can dig up (make sure you have 10,000 bells in your inventory) and once you dug up the 1,000 bells, bury the 10,000 bells in the hole
step 2: find any fossils or non-native fruit that you can sell to get you even more money to grow a second tree the next day
step 3: time travel one more day ahead and find the new glowing money spot, repeat steps 1 and 2
step 4: once you time traveled the amount of days with how many trees you want, from the day that you planted the last tree, time travel 5 days ahead and all of the money trees you grew should be fully developed
(they each give you 30,000 bells so depending on how many trees you grew is how much money you can get, also you can get a bunch of money from the fossils you find that you don't need to donate to the museum and the non native fruit that you pluck off trees that you sell
this usually makes me 200,000 bells when I plant five trees so you can do it however long you want

Planting a bunch of fruit trees is a good way of earning bells, especially when 1st starting out a stack of 10 oranges (which is my native fruit) gives me 800 bells now that's not much on its own but if u have a field of fruit trees each harvest can bring in around 30k bells
another good way is selling your native fruit on a friend's island. I sold 99 and got 49,500 bells. You do have to wait a bit, but you can also just grow more trees.

That makes you rely too much on your friend. Instead, trade fruit with them, and plant it on your island. You'll never have to see your friend again!

Tarantula island worked like a charm!! I did that last weekend. It takes awhile though and it’s best to visit a flat island if possible. It’s easier to see the tarantulas that way.

If you have a lot of nook miles, instead of buying a bell voucher for around 3000, buy a ticket to a mystery island. Getting EVERYTHING, including wood and picking flowers gives you around 20,000 bells. And just picking the fruit and weeds and flowers gives around 10,000

My money making method is swimming in the water and hunt for sea creatures.
Takes about 20 minutes to fill up an inventory (with the max inventory space). I sell it for about 25k-40k per inventory, depends on what I find. :) Pretty quick and easy.

I think I know something that can get you a lot of money. It’s digging fossils, 4 fossils spawn on your island each day and they usually sell for about 3000 to 6000 bells it depends on the fossil you find.
I'm gonna scream. I have seen a bunch of peacock butterflies on my island, around my house but I only caught one to turn into Blathers...
Something I've found is that there is a glitch with time skipping where you can get CJ on your island for more than one day in a row. Selling fish to him gives plenty of cash. Not the most efficient way but if you like fishing it's good
CJ and Flick are both great ways to make money. I don't really care for fishing but if CJ is on my island I'm literally fishing all day to get them sweet bells 💰 and since the Bug Off is on the 25th I've been catching bugs like crazy and saving them in my inventory to sell to Flick. I have over 200 bugs right now 😂
The fastest way for me to earn money that I use is selling a bunch of the fruits that I got off other islands. I've planted a lot and can get a fair enough of money

ive had like 300 pumpkin plants on my island, empty out your inventory and pick pumpkins and sell them, Ive made 300,000 (an inventory makes 100,000)

When I'm desperate for cash I travel back in time and pick every weed, flower, fruit, branch, rock, iron, fossil, seashell, bug bell voucher etc. and sell them, shells and fruit are the quickest and sell the highest. That way when I save and travel to present time I haven't missed anything.

It should be noted that tarantulas currently cannot spawn in the southern hemisphere. They'll start spawning in May, which in turn will mean they'll stop spawning in the northern hemisphere.
I think this info is very important and should have been included, to avoid people in the southern hemisphere trying the tarantula island tip and wasting their time AND people in the northern hemisphere doing the same after May.

If you don't like time-travelling, my method isn't going to be fast.
Get a lot of fully grown pumpkin plants on your island and unnative fruit trees.
You can sell the pumpkins and fruit for quite a lot of bells. For example: I started with 5000 bells and once I was done on my first day I was on around 62000 bells. It's quite slow and you have to do quite a lot of time-travelling but considering I don't have many nookmiles and Nintendo Switch Online, it's quite good. (To get the fruit trees, I went to my brother's island from Local play).

I had max 300k bells in my saving waiting to be spent on my 500k loan, but then a balloon floated by and gave me an extra illuminated reindeer diy.
I offered it in the discord, said "no specific price" bc I have no clue about prices and let the person who wanted it choose. They offered 2 MILLION BELLS.
And was willing to possibly pay higher.

Being successful doesn't need to be the idea, unless you really want it to. It depends on what your goals are, what catches your interest. A ton of bells, the biggest house, the hybrid flowers you want, the coolest layout, only villagers you like (that last one was generally my aim in New Leaf), completing the museum... so many goals, and you can just meander through them. I played New Leaf for years and years, and never messed with the stalk market, or the interior house challenges, or a bunch of other things. You can time-travel to make things happen faster, or you can just take it a day at a time if you like.
Online groups are a good place to read about new tricks and stuff. Reddit, even Facebook has dedicated AC groups. Googling the game and reading random articles helps as well. It's a fun place to have a completely different life, which is kinda great right now.

For some people, (like me) I don’t always need a bunch of money, but instead, I enjoy doing the same things everyday with a daily goal in mind, like paying off a construction project I’m working on or setting up a flower garden with furniture. I just make money as I go. Some days I earn a lot and deposit it in my account, other days I barely get anything and spent the entire day fishing and catching bugs that are low value. It just depends on how you enjoy playing the game. There is no right or wrong way with this game. 😊
@@CandycaneBeyond Many RUclipsrs/streamers have progressed really far already by cheating. There was a duplication glitch that people abused to make millions. And you can still change the time in your switch settings to 'time jump' in game to increase your interest in your bank, over and over until you are rich.
That and they have an audience that would gladly help them out by giving them items, money, access to their island, etc.
That's not cheating, but it does make it easier to accomplish things.
Just saying though, you shouldn't worry and compare your progress to theirs, especially the to the people that cheated/had a lot of help to get everything as quickly as possible.
But anyhow, I'm sure you're doing just fine. If needed, some tips like these in the video and some in the comments can help you play more efficiently and progress faster without resorting to cheating.
Personally I'm against cheating. I just wouldn't feel like I accomplished anything if I cheating to get something, but it's up to the individual.
Another way is to sell hot items of the day to timmy and tommy in nook’s cranny. I also plant 30.000 bells as plants. I also sell assessed fossils if it is incorporated in my museum already.

I have an orchard of 200 cherry trees. And my native fruit is apple so 1 cherry goes for about 500. So each day I painstakingly Harvest all 200 and sell and it comes up to 300,000 a day really easy

Lobster hunting!! Each lobster earns you 4,500 bells, they're available between 4pm to 9am I believe, if you start the game early and go diving, you might find this super fast shadow that struggles for you to catch. Easier method is to approach the shadow without pressing A, just slowly move your stick to the shadow and when you're close, press Y to dive and you can catch them easily without running around!
Also doing it in the morning before 9am is more recommended as there are not many sea creatures during that time

Ok, the turnip marker traumatized me until I got into the pumpkin market. You basically buy pumpkins from Leif and resell them (you can wait or time travel) (For 41 pumpkins plants, after a collect of 1 pumpkin my plant I got 24.000 bells)
You can buy 10 axes and the price you’ll get is around twenty thousand bells do this every day and get around 1000 bells
Bugs in water or exist because of fresh river water will still continue to spawn. So your best bet is probably to save a ton of nookmiles, buy lots of nook miles tickets(don't spend all your nookmiles though), and try your luck for a bamboo island, which doesn't have any rivers and ponds and is completely flat. It would be easier for you to force spawn the scorpions and tarantulas here. And apparently, you can still force them to spawn even after 7 to 4. I have personal experience with this but I'm not sure if it would work for everyone
another method is, try buying pumkins from leaf, let them grow and then sell them. they give a good amount of bells.
i recomend buying atleast 20/30 pumkin starts. theres my method!
A good method: fossils, having a lot of them and when sold give somewhat big bucks. It does however come with 2 steps, (1) must have all fossils discovered and recorded in museum, (2) if done #1 then make sure to sell the fossils when they get examined than in their not so examined state.
1) Get 100 pumpkins from Leif
2) water pumpkins every day
3) sell all pumkins for 100,000 bells
Every 2nd or 3rd day you get 100,000 bells in total because pumkins are worth 35 each x 100= 35,000 bells (if you dont water them). Water them every day means x3 pumkins so you will get the right amount.
also selling ocean animals works pretty good for me. each time i go with an empty inventory i sell all things for about 20,000 bells
My method is making a foreign fruit farm. I place a lot of Cherry Trees (Oranges are my native fruit) close together and after picking all the cherries, I hit 100K and that’s one every 3 days.

I made almost 2 million bells off of Flick. Have a huge garden in my front yard so I spawn peacock butterflies like crazy, collected over 100 in a day once. Had gotten the legit tarantula island twice so saved up everything and sold to Flick for a a ton. Also I like to save my rare fish for when CJ visits.
You guys can get the Tarantula Island still, just be lucky to have Bamboo Island since that's a flat land

Not really a method but I do a lot of hunting for rare fish and bugs to make a critter room, and I get a ton of other creatures in the process. I know it’s not a lot to all the stalk market peeps, but I’m only on my second week so making like, 200,000 bells a day isn’t bad for me.
