New Year's Eve in Hakuba, Japan. Goryu slopes: fireworks, taiko drums, toshikoshi soba!

My first time spending NYE outside of the UK! It was super fun to take part in the Hakuba Goryu New Year's Eve event, seeing all the bright fireworks against the snow and them blasting JPOP, so much fun! and Toshikoshi new year's soba too. lots of memories made and I highly recommend checking out Japan for new years, it's very special! have you spent time elsewhere to ring in the new year before?
