Calligraphy and handwriting is definitely an art. I love drawing illustrations, painting fantasy scenes in acrylic. Love sculpting, metal smithing, 3D modeling, designing, and wood carving. I've done signs and I hate type, handwriting. I've lettered and did airbrush work on vehicles. I just don't enjoy it. You do some great work! It's just an art that I don't enjoy doing myself.

I had tried calligraphy but to create what’s shown in this video would take perhaps years of practice using different instruments and inks. I remember my uneven lettering with either too much or not enough ink LOL

I have terrible handwriting, but (to be momentarily immodest) I'm quite good at drawing and painting. Ironically, if I'm painting a subject that features writing, logos and such, I can paint it just fine. But writing those same words on a piece of paper with a pen, it's nearly illegible. Think it's a matter of scale.
