Of all the gospel singers I have ever heard, & they are many, in my opinion, there is not a more wholly holy, free & fearlessly honest & pure of heart interpreter of the spiritual than Cassietta George. She may not have gotten the recognition she deserved in this world but one thing is certain, she is in heavenly glory sitting at the right hand of Our Father & he is pleased with his good & faithful servant Cassietta. There are some singers who measure their success in records sold, pity them.
Cassiett was one of the greatest singers that ever lived. Truly annointed.
Cassietta George had it right......... Its important to see my mother, my grandmothers, Mary E. Doss and daddy. She was the true meaning of Big Sister... We'll walk around Heaven and share our lives with the one and only Lord and Savior "Jesus Christ." Can you imagine just walking around all day. See, you girls one day.
I remember this song playing every Sunday morning while we got ready for church... I always loved this sing but the lyrics didn't spark any thought of eternity as a child however as I got older I began to put the songs lyrics in perspective as it relates to a life of spirituality. Both of my parents are gone on but Heaven and eternal life was their goal.. Now I'm older and I have come to know the full aspect of humans being spiritual beings having this earthly experience...

This song has touched me. I can't wait to see my folks again. My great aunt/my grandmother's sister/my mother's aunt in August of 1992, my uncle which is my mother's Cousin's husband back in 1997, my grandmother my mother's mother of April of 2000, my father's mother back August of 2005, my grandfather in 2000 my father's father, my Cousin don't know what year she passed, my late Pastor which is my first Pastor who was my spiritual grandfather in February of 2008, and my first godmother of September of 2016 one day before my mother's 70th Birthday.
