That was insane! I won't spoil it, let's just say it was very close. This gave Gryphon a chance to show how good he is by how close it was vs Orochi. The hero isn't flashy and doesn't have many unique tools, so despite his record, his wins never seemed as impressive or dominant as Orochi. Orochi has all the tools and all kinds of flashy moves, so it has always been obvious how good he is in his previous matches. GG to both of you!

Tbh the storm is unnecessarily difficult to parry. Love the idea that it proposes, detests how only Orochi have a mix up this effective (excluding Shinobi). Give every character something like this, that’s both fast, not as damaging, and considered a heavy. Or slow it or show the indicator more early. Because orochi is really easy to pick up and just destroy with, it takes more skill to beat an average orochi than most characters. Imo
It doesn't really do less damage, with the confirmed light I believe you get 22 damage with storm rush (might be wrong but it's still in the 20s) which is pretty much a neutral heavy, with a faster indicator than a light attack, it's a broken move and nox spams it so much because of how hard it is to parry
nox played well he's a absolute unit the fight could of gone either way in the end this was by far the best fight I've seen on there series ggs to both players they both played extremely well congrats to the gryphon for winning the fight

@@Moon-wk9ub ranked maps? Maybe that was true a year ago, but a lot has changed with many heroes being buffed and pirate being released. LB is far behind a lot of the cast
@@grymjaw for doms he’s very outdated ya, but lb is actually better than most chars (atleast while not on old gen I believe) bc his parry punishes are very insane and generally just has a very safe defense (recovery on shove basically is cracked). Thing is though is that you quite literally can’t go offensive as lb at ll until you get a punish, which makes him pretty hard to play for most
If you meet someone who constantly plays lb they’ll just….stare at you until you throw something parriable, if they can react to flash or animation you’re screwed
Angelus this is what i want to see from the number ones, is ACTUALLY useing their kit and shining with their skill. Although i wish scream mortem would use mind cleaver when he gets those light parries to go into kick pressure

Both of them did great and this was the most into one of these matches I've ever been (yelling and getting hyped). But you do have to notice how much more orochi has to do compared to gryphon. Either way, great match 👍

Regardless of platform the skill must be acknowledged. Tell me this isn't high-level. Console is where this game provides the best entertainment in my opinion - this being the type of fight that proves it.
