Hey there! It's been some time since I last arranged a track from FF VII, but I've gotten a lot of requests for this classic. Arranging it was a pleasure and really brought me back to my first time playing the game. I can't wait for Final Fantasy VII Rebirth to come out, especially after how much I enjoyed Remake. I remember when this song plays for the first time (correct me if I’m wrong) while your exploring the rollercoaster-like train tracks. The song is so full of warmth, and really complimented the sense of companionship you had with the characters at this stage. You more than do the song justice. Thanks for sharing.

The Music is living Midgar...sector 7
Yes, this beautiful piece is first introduced once you finally leave Midgar, make teams and receive the PRS from Barrett, then head for the town of Kalm.
That section of the game is what you played on the PC-only Demo of FF7. I remember it took me a really long time to save up enough allowance to actually buy the game and I played the demo dozens and dozens of times.
The amount of nostalgia is insane.

This song was one of my brothers favorite ff7 songs. He passed away 2 years ago, its beautiful I wished he could of heard this version since he was also a piano player.

@@Aya_Albion I can completely say, it's worth it! By now I can play Corey's arrangement. And I'm beginning to feel confident about what I do on my ukes. I've started in late 2018 and have been playing ever since. A lot of inspiration on RUclips. A local regulars group does help, too, in the beginning.
And - for me - it was much easier to start with than guitar.

I dunno if anyone remenbera but ffvii pc had a demo. It opened with this song. It was my first time playing ffvii. I must have played that demo a thousand times before I got the full pc release.

If you already have some guitar skills, I would check out Mauro Giuliani's 120 right hand exercises. Pretty boring but you'll see fast progress.

Such a fantastic song and performance, help me out please - was this video renamed to "Dear to the Heart" recently? I had it as "Holding my Thoughts in My Heart" and couldn't find it again when I searched for that. Trying to figure out if I've shifted into a parallel reality...thanks!
Haha definitely a parallel dimension. No, I changed it because I think it fits better and it matches the official OST on Spotify. I update necessary titles before submitting them to streaming services which is a bit more permanent.
