That's really all she looked for. One side in fact. I noticed that throughout the match. Scroll through and watch her gaze fixated on one side kitchen line. Never seen that before.
Two bounce rule “The serve and the service return must be allowed to bounce before striking the ball. That is, each side must play a groundstoke on the first shot following the serve. After the initial groundstrokes have been made, play may include volleys.”
He’s also winning quite a few points. With a forehand that travels at that pace, 4 inches above the net 85% of the time, and nearly impossible to read if he’s going line or angle, it’s a calculated risk and strategy. Credit to Johannes and Truong for dealing with it and also for killing me with their own drives. I did not handle it well enough and gave up many easy points on shake and bake. Brett kept us in this match.
My man! Yeah, I post most matches here… helps to look back and see what works and what’s next. You played awesome and did the hard work all day and through the finals. We were probably the only team in the draw that played as a first time team up… and I was definitely the only player in the draw still learning the basic dubs strategy. I maybe hit a few drops… most of my dink (attempts) got taken out of the air… not great. Forehand is smoke though!! Working hard this year to have all the shots… starting with a drop, a dink or two, and a snap backhand volley. Still mostly forehand full swinging stuff. I’d run it back with you any day of the week… against any team. I mean… I wouldn’t want to play us.
I played for the first time today. Had fun. Fell,Scraped my hands. People asked how long have I been playing, guess I was good.... There is no need to grunt when serving.
NICE, I AM FROM VENEZUELA, CAN YOU HELP ME, HOW MUCH SHOULD I BE PAID PER MATCH OR PER DAY OR PER TOURNAMENT? IT IS MY FIRST PROFESSIONAL TOURNAMENT AND THE ORGANIZERS DON'T KNOW HOW MUCH TO PAY ME
I'm maybe a 2.0...lol, just started playing. Team that won play well together, if you think they are not 4.0 play them, they are! The other team however, nope. 3.0....the red shirt was way overcompensating for his much weaker partner and put him in bad positions throughout.
Ref had a good eye for the foot fault at 9:37. I thought she was wrong and slowed it down, was surprised.
The heckler who mocked her in the stands should be told to keep quiet

@@torreypines77 that heckler made me want to instigate and be like, "yes yes yes, stfu"
Good playing, thanks for posting
Wondeful acoustics here.
Great video and enjoy it. One question, the white hat guy chain serves is legal? Thank you.
Yes, during 2021 the chainsaw serve was legal.
The guy in orange bouncing the ball before serving like he’s Djokovic. 🙄
Doesnt the 3rd shot HAVE to hit the ground before returning?
Two bounce rule “The serve and the service return must be allowed to bounce before striking the ball. That is, each side must play a groundstoke on the first shot following the serve. After the initial groundstrokes have been made, play may include volleys.”
That was fun to watch.
funny how when I see a chainsaw serve I root for the opposing team...
I didn’t use a spin serve, but I can appreciate how much work those guys put in to make it effective.
Red is costing quite a few points being a ball hog.
Truer words!
@@brettwwarner1 Lol.

He also needs to learn how to dink. One dimensional banger ATM
I've been seeing that a lot where the dominant player plays 3/4 of the court.
Why does white hat keep holding his wallet, is it that bad of an area?
the ref is cracking me up
The guy in all black is strong in every aspect.
I didn’t know you posted this. It’s hard to watch how many errors, poor decisions, and strategic missteps I made in this match!

Nice size crowd. 😂
The guy in the white hat is spinning the ball in his hand prior to hitting his serve.
2021
That was a legal serve until 2023.
Is it just me or guy in white hat was doing illegal spin on the ball when serving
In 2021 that serve was legal but it isn't anymore,
Don't you need to have more skills than just a drive to play 4.0? Way to beat the bangers...
Yes, you need to have more skills than just a drive to win gold at nationals at 4.0… I learned that lesson.
@@brettwwarner1 although, you have to say, that drive is pretty darn effective…even at 5.0+
Adam - I should of made the switch to Gearbox a week earlier. This CX11 rips!!
I thought so

Guy in black is not 4.0. He should be hitting those drives back with more power instead of constantly setting the other team up to smash them.

These guys seem like pros, not 4.0s.
I was thinking less than 4.0.
no, they look like 3.5

This is 4.0 🙄🤔?
Vraiment pas impressionné...
Looks like 3.0 to me!
joking or stupid?
he's def joking and or stupid :P
Not to be a hater, but 5 minutes in and this is some bad pickle...
that spinner serve is no longer valid... I can see why.
Man, they not good
