What setting did you have the extractor on for the demo? Asking because I just ordered one of these units and I’m doing research on proper usage. Thanks!
I have the DeWalt sander how much happier would I be with planex? With my DeWalt quite often I can't stand my finish coat for flat work with it.
Have you tried wirh painted popcorn ceilings?
blimey i had the planex 1 for 3 years and was by far the fastest best sander till it was nicked. now got this one and if it dont sand flat with the interface pad ive ordered its another 900 quid ive wasted 😫
The sander is heavier than 10 lbs with the vacuum hose attached and extension cord. You really want a harness if you are sanding a large swath of ceiling
Why not use a vacuum bag or even that 2 stage thing?
Something about the systainer stacked that way bothers me a lot. Otherwise good video

About the only good idea on this product. Absolute waste of our money this machine 😤
I love Festool I own lots but it can’t just be me but these videos be all over the place like there is no script or run through before live🙄😳😱
A longer hose and cord would help a lot so you don’t have to drag that heavy vacuum around so much

Where in Ontario can I get the sander that removes stucco. And the dust extractor

Don't buy without the optional backing pad. You won't be able to sand drywall properly.
Can confirm. Bought the tool some time ago and just today i had the chance to work with it. The default pad has the screw holes which leaves round marks
Mirka leros, simple, lighter, random orbital, 180 degree pivoting head...........but no light......
Just got one for replacement to old planex what broke down. No complaints so far but than it might have this brushed dust protection like the old festool planex had, its neat feature.
I love it but it's slowlys.
