My son who was 13 had a child with a girl his age, gave birth to my Granddaughter, who’s named Alivianna. Long story short, the girl’s family gave Alivianna up for adoption. In all this, I was not ready to be a Grandmother knowing the context in which the whole story took place. I don’t know what God holds for us all. Please pray for Elijah, Alivianna, the Peterman’s (adoptive parents), and my family. Praise be to God!

Joseph is such an inspiration to me. I’m in tears right now lol My wife and I were both married before we got together. I had no children and she had 3 boys. I won’t ramble but I will tell you he got on drugs and abandoned his family. My wife and I have been married for 13 years and I never met the man, they should tell you enough. Point is I come from a very traditional conservative circle and it was hard as a man to know people are talking and scoffing behind my back. It hurt my pride. Also it is only through the Lord I raised and loved those boys. It was not easy and went against my flesh and pride in every way. We had two more boys together and I can tell you with all honesty I love all my sons the same. The oldest two grew up and are married and now I have 4 grandchildren of my own at the tender age of 42. It’s the biggest blessing in my life and when it was tough I thought about Joseph and what he sacrificed (pride mostly) and it helped me through. My point is not to pay myself on the back, it’s for any man raising a child who is not yours. If you cannot love them like your own either pray to God for the strength or don’t persue a woman with children. Those boys now call me father and it brings so much joy to me. Remember all the Lord has done for you as we celebrate advent and Christmas. God bless you all and MERRY CHRISTMAS!
