A truck-sized classroom to increase knowledge on aquaculture (Ireland)

With the support of the European Maritime and Fisheries Fund (EMFF), the Irish seafood agency (Bord Iascaigh Mara) developed a mobile classroom dedicated to teaching the history, facts and opportunities of aquaculture in elementary schools all around Ireland. This Aquaculture Remote Classroom (ARC) allows the children to discover in a playful and educational way the shellfish and fish-farming activities taking place in Irish waters, inviting aquaculture professionals such as oyster farmers for a tasty seafood discovery!
