Like football, the game is not on the up and up. Those officiating control the results . Watching referees calling 9 fouls vs 29 fouls. That equates to 1/3 of Connecticuts points. While we sit there and watch them not calling fouls on the Suns . See the Fever next year. The league doesn't believe Catlin controls the increase in fans . We will see. Nike better get busy with Clarks shoes. They will sell some Wilson shoes but there is no comparison, Clark shoes will be off the chain. The excessive brutality has been exposed in the WNBA and it needs to be "FIXED" for next season and beyond. (It would be unfair to do it now so let the goons do their thing to complete this knock down and drag it out example of playing basketball! Please understand, some players (in fact, many of them) play the game the right way but in order to survive under these circumstances they must lower their standards and play the game 'dirty' and that's the only way to explain it.
I'd be very interested to see how the league officials have been schooled to determine what a foul is and what isn't. I think we'd all be shocked!

I have believed the WNBA will become a force in the sports entertainment world when something magical and wonderful enters the picture and that will happen next season. Assuming changes will be made in regards to how the game will be called on the court, the WNBA will be graced by the addition of Paige Bueckers. There is no denying Caitlin Clark has been a wonderful player and a crowd pleaser but she doesn't have the glow Paige has. Not only will Paige shine but it will be the best thing that ever happened to Caitlin because the WNBA will become a place to go to or watch on tv basketball played at the highest level and players will be admired for their skill sets.
