It's nice to know that there are other artist's too that feel this way. I never call myself an artist or consider myself one before but for me art is like breathing and I realize I cannot live without art and after giving it some thought I am finally happy to call myself an artist even if I'm not that good at it. Thank you so much for sharing this. :)
Thank you for sharing! When I’d hear, oh you’re an artist, I’d say I’m a practicing artist. Last week a lady at work paid me $70 for a 11x14 acrylic of her pet parrot. I take donations and I told her that $70 is too much. She just laughed at me. I agree Ana, we need to believe in ourselves. I’ve been painting for about 4 years, it’s my haven.
Wow this video really resonated with me. It took me a long time to admit to myself that I'm an artist as well! After a really long internal battle with fear, my ego, and everyone around me, this year I was finally able to call myself an artist as well and it's so refreshing. Thanks so much for sharing this little piece of your mind with us! And the painting looks beautiful 💗
Internalizing that you are an artist sounds easier than it really is. But there comes a time, when you assimilate that itching that you feel every day, which only stops when you start to draw or paint, is not something that happens to all people, that happens to a few, those unstoppable desire to remove what you have inside. That's when you should be sincere and tell yourself to do what you do with your life, you will do it reluctantly, because there is only one thing you can do with passion and in a genuine way in this world, and that is to be yourself.
Thank you for your message! "...there is only one thing you can do with passion and in a genuine way in this world, and that is to be yourself." BEAUTIFUL ❤️ so so true!!
Thank you for sharing and saying "admitting to myself I'm an artist". This is something I've struggled for soooo long. Thank you for being honest and sharing your vulnerability and encouraging us in this video. I appreciate you being authentic and sharing this, I didn't know other artists 'struggle' with this also.
Hi Ana, I just found your channel and it’s so beautiful. You have such a beautiful and light aura around you, and I can resonate with so much that you’ve said❤️
Hi Ana, great to hear from your RUclips page. This subject of being an artist is a problem for many of us who are self taught. I too, am self taught and often struggle with the concept of whether or not my art is good enough or not. I have been drawing since the age of three. But I have been sketching since I was seventeen and for many years was afraid to add colour. However, from the age of twenty six I began to teach myself oil painting by studying the works of John Constable, my favourite landscape artist. Yet, like you, I still go through this emotional seesaw, of whether or not I am good enough as an artist despite people telling me I am good enough. I am now of an age where I realise that the root of this issue lay Deep rooted in my psyche largely from parental influence, which is hard to get rid of or overcome and stems from our own sensitivities, of which this aspect is a normal trait and should not viewed by extraverted nature's as being somehow wrong. So what I can say is this. Accept you for being you and realise that most artistic skills are born out of having a rich inner life which others do not possess believe it or not. So I look forward to many more you tube videos from you as you grow into the role of Artist. Hope this message helps you and others who have to deal with the same issues.
This is so beautiful.Being an Artist is like being a parent , I would say it's like being a mum, it's an exciting feeling and you want to be the Best , and even though you know you are good , you still feel am I giving the Best of me? or am I loving my family enough. You just want to do more. 😃. It's like the first time your baby calls you mum o mamá or mommy it's priceless then you start to ask yourself if you are qualified to know It all. At least so we do as kids . When we were kids we thought our parents know everything. As time goes we learn as we go and we trust our maternal instinct . We know that we have the ability to be the Best. Thank you for sharing 👍 Love this video.
I create art because it’s therapeutic it feels like a great passionate adventure. The colours are so beautiful. I’m still learning some foundations but I’ve had some good paintings
my family and friends give me such a hard time about this. I seem incapable of calling myself or having anyone else call me an artist. For all the same reasons you mentioned. True, I use artists tools to make things, but that term always feels reserved for a level of art I just don't feel I'm at, so it makes me uncomfortable , as if I think too much of myself by saying that. It's surprising how difficult it is to say, so I just can't. Maybe one day. I don't know. My family and friends are who I share my work with andmake things for, so I guess I feel they feel they have to say they like it . . . ahahahaha .. . But you made great points and were very encouraging and kind and I'm so glad you gave yourself permission to call yourself an artist because you are clearly an amazing artist! I've been a photographer for a real long time - but even when on a job , if I had a second I would be taking pictures of things I truly wanted pictures of - a beautiful sky, one of my favorite things, or gorgeous old trees, the more gnarled and messy the better, or flowers from every angle , or the random chunk of metal the drag car I was photographing dropped on its run by me- because as you said, there is so much beauty out there and before my body started failing me I could spend forevertaking photos of everything. I still do when I can. But I love havingmany hardrives (and printed pic's because I'm old 😁) as reference now that I've been teaching myself to draw and paint. It is very satisfying draw and paint your own work. :)
Oooof "as if I think too much of myself by saying that", I felt that!! I know exactly how you feel! The way you speak about all of the things you like to photograph and the beauty you find, IS SO ARTISTIC! You're already an artist at heart. I hope one day you come to realize it and accept it ❤️ Also, I LOVE printed pictures. You've inspired me to get outside and take more photos for references ✨ Thank you for sharing!
@@AnaCornejoArt thank you Ana!! I love photography, helped me capture something I know I can't physically sit and paint live well enough. I have to take lots of breaks..another reason I hope to one day be able to afford the water oils, to have more time to mess with it and for the better ability to mix colors together nice a smooth. And not with digital pic's, we can take as many as we want and keep those that we love the most...print or look at on a screen to paint. Either is fun. I like the odd, messy things....even the flowers I draw and paint in watercolor are kinda real imperfect...I like the odd petals shapes and some missing or brown bits...boring too perfect...but may that's just me being messy cuz that's all I know...aaHhahaha...but its fun. Photography is wonderful:) when I used my film camera I loved using black and white film, it looks different then just making it black and white digital when I do that to see the darks and lights. But its fun, take pic's of everything! Rusty metal, I absolutely love taking pic's close up of the messed up or old trees in our forest where some moss grows and above see all the bright red leaves of fall...like you, I adore fall! This year my health has declined significantly, but even when I couldn't hold the weight of my regular camera, I'd make my way outside to take pictures of the gorgeous trees and the way the sun comes through them, looking like fire...and how some leave fell that were spotted bright ref and bright yellow...I collected a ton, they're all over in art...my dining table😆. People probably think I'm crazy because everywhere I go I take pictures orike going for a doctor appt there was this gorgeous tree that had these leave that looked almost like ginkgo leaves, which i love, so I was wandering around picking up ones I loved, some perfect but mostly the kinda ratty ones with so much character. They're fun to draw as you can see their real shape. And can always take pictures of them jut incase they dry out or break:) Thank you for your sweet words....its something I'll work on....but a lifetime of knowing you're not good enough takes time to retrain my brain, but, I'm definitely working on it ;) I can't wait to see some of your pictures :) Thank you again for everything!!🥰
Thank you for sharing your views, I agree and can definitely relate. We are all artists in our own way even if we don’t know it. I always struggled with not thinking I was good enough and hitting mental blocks. We just have to keep trying our best and pushing forward. 😊
I feel my view on whether I was worthy of being called an artist shifted when I started going to Fine Arts School. I was always attracted to drawing and painting. Before going to school I had no problems with being called an artist, it's just my parent's pressure to go to Art School was so strong that I ended up going for a year and then dropping out because in their eyes, every piece you make HAS to have this sense of purpose and you HAVE to convey a sort of intellectual message through your work. I felt I was at a loss when I couldn't please my teachers and my parent's view of what an artist is, so I left Fine Arts and went on to do Graphic Design instead. Now I have no doubt I'm an artist, I know I'm not interested in doing art in the way they were trying to make me do. And most of all, I'm being able to do art as I used to before encountering all of these 'problems' that were not mine, just for fun and to connect with people. No delusions of grandeur there, or at least the ones present are solely mine.
Thank you so much for sharing this! I'm so happy you got to a place where you are happy to make art and happy with the art you create ☺️ That's so so important. Happy to have you here :)
This is such a huge step in admitting you are an Artist! I struggled with this throughout my 56 years. I am so glad you found this out earlier than I did. I love everything you said :)
omg i didn’t know i needed this but i did. i have told people i am not an artist, i just make art. because same, i don’t feel good enough to earn the title of “artist”. but i make art, i love it, i am an artist. it’s okay to say that and i needed this video to prove it to me
Ana, continue to create these salient art content as it resonates with many other new comers to the art world especially as a West Indian Caribbean artist. Blessings to you indeed.
I just love how you were able to be truthful about your feelings. I think it's CRAZY you feel the same way i feel! I watched another channel (and i saw you commented on her video also) about not feeling good enough, and ...HOW POWERFUL! I thank you for sharing that, i felt not so alone! Oh- and my favorite advice that you shared was not to compare your art to other's art. Yea! LOL...dig that!
New to your page. Thanks for sharing and making this video. I’m an artist as well and I run into the part of someone looking at a sketch I’ve done and they love but I say well it’s not done or finish or because of blah blah a 100 different reasons and I use to compare my art not anymore and I’ve been drawing since I could pick up a pencil paper you name it. If I can create with it let’s go! Before I was running into art blocks but i have been submerging myself into all kinds of art online to get inspired. I don’t have a full portfolio online just papers scattered around my apt and I want to change that. It’s important to use the talents God has given us and to use your hands to create or do whatever gift you’ve been given. 👍🏼😊
Thank you Ana for this inspiring video. I can relate so much to your words. In fact right now I‘m working on a video about the same topic, because it took me so long to view myself as a real artist. And I still have to remind myself sometimes that I am worth it to create. Thank you for sharing your honest and encouraging thoughts about this topic. You have such a beautiful soul. ❤️
You’ve truly touched my heart ❤️ Thank you Lisa! I’m so glad we all have each other to support & pass encouragement to. I can’t wait to watch your video!
Ahhh when people ask me to paint a photo from a cell phone or worse- Facebook screenshot. Yikes it makes life harder for me personally. Off topic comment (I just loved your advice about taking your own photographs!) Thank YOU this is what I’ve needed. I’m a glass blowing “artist” and painter for over 10 years and still I don’t feel like one and was ashamed to express it to others. I subscribed- you rock!
same here bro...... truth is we judge too much our self , i had the same question... but now i m ARTIST.... U R AND WE ARE ARTIST....... AMAIZING VIDEO LOVE U❤
Same here, especially when you see all those awesome artists on ig and then checking your own art it looks like some kid drew them and you keep telling to yourself than not yet, I still need to work on my art and just then I will be able to call myself an artist, or just when you start earning from your art you are an artist... And it's never ending circle... Im glad Im not alone
I can relate completely. I still refer to myself as a hobbyist because I keep comparing myself to working professionals. You make a really solid point. Just keep making art! It's not gonna be perfect every time. Edit: Also, this turned out beautiful. That's a great reference.
We had a conversation about this topic a couple of days ago and it's crazy to see the words that crossed my mind then, in a video title now! I think I will be able to call myself an artist when I have reached a certain skilllevel and maybe make a living out of it, but for now it somehow feels wrong to call me an artist because I'm a beginner. My art teacher at school always repeated that only those who studied art at university can be called artists and noone else. That bothered me even back then and still does, although it's been 10 years now^^
It’s such an important topic to talk about! I completely understand where you’re coming from. I feel like art professors have scarred many people before 😞 I don’t agree that you could only be an artist if you’ve gone to university for art. Honor your wonderful art path 🤍 You deserve it!
I am in a very different point in life, started painting for fun few month ago. I feel awkward getting complimented on what I do. I feel I haven't put the time to think myself an artist. Also, getting to be an artist is not a goal by itself, don't feel like I want to expose my art. It is weird, but even that way, I want to improve and find the motivation to paint 1-2 hours every evening before going to sleep. Yet as I progress, it becomes harder to select a subject and decide what to do next, a weird feeling of responsibility in that. Sometimes that goes away by purposely doing an ugly painting. Sometimes doing some challenges also help. What you say about seeing beauty is so true, when I was younger I wondered why one artist was painting hyperrealistic giant painting of small details, like rust on a metal bolt of flaking paint on a wall... and that was what I learned, that there is so much unseen beauty and without him I would have never understood that flaking paint could have beauty.
I think that's a very common struggle for alot of artists. In one way, feeling you need to improve helps push you to new ways of creating, but there needs to be self worth and value simultaneously learned. I spent my entire life making art, since I was a baby. I knew I always wanted to be an artist. But I always felt I just never was quite there, never professional enough, etc etc. Even after a lifetime (thus far) haha but it is important to come to decide that is who you are, especially when it comes to priorities and if you choose to want to make it your full time way of life, because others need to know your worth. I likewise am an avid observer of the hidden and missed beauties in life. The wild can be so harsh and brutal, and it's important for inner balance to see the beauty around us always. Thanks for this video! I really want to start an art RUclips channel but I'm very new to even making a video haha
Thank you for sharing this beautiful message. You totally should start a channel! Give it a try :) Practice filming and editing. It's all really fun in my opinion ☺️
wow. just the title itself hit my soul, and then I could immediately felt your soul and energy throughout the video. I am in the same exact boat. Currently on a journey of finally making art for myself. Lmk id anyone can relate :) I allowed my life circumstances limit me and dictate my decisions for so long. I stopped creating after knowing I couldn't afford going to my dream school that i got accepted to. I felt immense guilt and unworthiness that I wasn't doing art everyday. Its so easy to get discouraged on social media too. and i just never gave myself enough time, love and forgiveness to do art for me. but i realized, what makes you a true artist is not about how perfect your pieces will be, how much you produce, or how well known you are or make. Its sitting down and creating for the sake of creating, for a purpose higher thanthese artificial things. I have so many ideas and mediums i could use, but trying to figure out how exactly to merge them together, while also being open to change. Sometimes we will be so fixed on one medium, when sometimes our creativity will fade being stuck in what we are comfortable with. thanks for this video!
Wow Pauline 💓 I could relate so much to this and I'm sure many others can as well. this was so beautiful written. I really appreciate you sharing this with all of us here 💓 thank you for being here love

Ur video spoke to my soul. I started making art 4 years ago, and just decided to call myself an artist last month. It's really hard for me to show my art to people, bc I always thought there wasn't much to look at and calling myself an "artist" would be to embarrassing for the level of skill I have. Now I'm slowly trying to love myself and my art more. Thank you for this video, I felt heard and understood 💖
I love this Video! I feel like everyone is an artist and some people don't know because they probably never tried. Sometimes you have to pick up a paintbrush and see what happens. You might just be surprised by yourself 💜
Saw this video on recommendations and I just saw it. Thanks for this, it actually made me think about why I love painting and drawing💖✨ love the aesthetic of the video too! Keep going☺️
Man I needed to see this 💕 I never considered myself an artist 🎨 I just did it LOL and learn off different courses - I too started to get into art again during lockdown- I did draw years ago and stopped and started and stopped ✋ - then somehow I got into painting and taking g photos of nature and learn courses and so forth - i like to think I can say I am artists but it's hard LOL like you say needing to feel worthy and terrified to be seen LOL One time I had a lil kid stare at me whilst doing art in a coffee shop and I blushed and smiled and meant alot to me as usually I am that kid staring 😏🤣🤣💓

Very irrelevant but you are absolutely stunning. I love your energy. I also recently admitted to myself that I am an artist. I think that is the biggest step we artists can make. In my case, printing my work solidified it.
Loved your video 🤍 I recently found a love for art, and ironically years ago I used to say I wasn’t good when it came to my creative side! I’m currently just working with acrylics and following tutorials to learn techniques and tips. But I’ve been really interested in diving into oil paintings. Do you have any tips for someone barely deciding to wander into that area?
That’s amazing! From my experience, I was intimidated by oils so I honestly just went for it or else I would have never 😂 I would probably just buy a sample set of oil paints to not have to invest too much. If you don’t want to use solvents I definitely recommend getting water mixable oil paints! I think the best tip I could give you for while you’re painting, work thin to thick!! I hope this helps! happy painting 💓
Stop playing! I am literally going through that right now. I am a poet and a visual artist and I am having a huge problem acknowledging that I am a writer and an artist. I am literally in college in intermediate poetry And I perform and I still have trouble saying it. It gets caught on my tongue when I try to say it. Self worth is so important and we are sensitive as artistic Souls. Hopefully the art inside us will help heal us, and know this if you are reading this you are a f****** artist and an amazing creature.
I kind of DIYed it haha. This is the link to the wet palette: www.dickblick.com/products/masterson-sta-wet-palette-seal/ I found it cheaper to buy a glass kitchen cutting board and paint the bottom a mid gray. But you could also just buy it online: www.dickblick.com/items/new-wave-posh-glass-tabletop-palette-9-x-12-gray/ I hope this helps 🤗
Wow. It's so cool. I saw this video in right time because I started my art profile in Instagram recently. And I have a lot of fears about that I'm not good enough to apload my paintings. I don't know anything about how have a beautiful profile. I really worried about. I'm thinking about what other people think about me all time. I'm scared that I can disgrace myself because I live in little town where everybody knows everyone. P. S. I hope you will understand me because I'm not a native speaker of English
Our culture has gotten obsessed with labels and “communities”, and I, as a painter, never call myself an artist. I don’t like the “good enough” label because who says who’s “good enough”? I prefer to say I’m a painter because it defines what I do. So many people claim to be artists, I think it’s a status thing. I disagree with the “good enough” thing because that is comparing yourself to some standard, and that can be soul crushing. Just paint, forget about “admitting” (as if you’re guilty of something) ... PLEASE STOP WORRYING ABOUT LABELS...just paint.
Hi Rashone, just wanted to let you know that I really love this rationale you have put forward regarding the concept of Artist/painter. It is interesting to note the cognitive differences that people have about this issue. For me, the problem of using the term "Artist" these days, has been thoroughly highjacked by other groups such as Musicians for example. They too are not Artists, they are Musicians with the added word professional attached. Just like the term professional Artist Heck. Today most Painters/ Artists are now relegated to the term Visual artists etc. Nevertheless you make a very valid arguement especially the part about the "good enough" label. Thank you for sharing this alternative viewpoint.
Of course! I DIYed it haha! This is the palette seal: amzn.to/3y9ocWv and then I bought this glass board: amzn.to/3EVdupf and painted it a mid gray :) I hope this helps!
May I ask what’s the yellow and black paint shovel that u used at the beginning of the video called? I always forgot to clean my palette and it dried out before I notice it.
I have the same problem. We ARE ARTISTS!!! Even if our art isn't always perfect or as good as others, we are still artists.

thank you so much for sharing this ✨ it was certainly helpful for me and I'm sure it'll help many other
This is so beautiful.Being an Artist is like being a parent , I would say it's like being a mum, it's an exciting feeling and you want to be the Best , and even though you know you are good , you still feel am I giving the Best of me? or am I loving my family enough.
Wow that was such a beautiful analogy! Thank you for sharing ☺️✨ I’m so glad that you enjoyed the video ❤️
I create art because it’s therapeutic it feels like a great passionate adventure. The colours are so beautiful. I’m still learning some foundations but I’ve had some good paintings
thats wonderful! it really is therapeutic, I agree! 💓
my family and friends give me such a hard time about this.
And can always take pictures of them jut incase they dry out or break:)
Thank you for your sweet words....its something I'll work on....but a lifetime of knowing you're not good enough takes time to retrain my brain, but, I'm definitely working on it ;)
I can't wait to see some of your pictures :)
Thank you again for everything!!🥰
Thank you for sharing your views, I agree and can definitely relate. We are all artists in our own way even if we don’t know it. I always struggled with not thinking I was good enough and hitting mental blocks. We just have to keep trying our best and pushing forward. 😊
Exactly!! Just keep practicing 💓
Oh, Very Beautiful!! It's made me inspiring.
Thank you for sharing!!✨😊
Thank YOU! ❤️
This is such a huge step in admitting you are an Artist! I struggled with this throughout my 56 years. I am so glad you found this out earlier than I did. I love everything you said :)
Thank you so much Elizabeth ❤️

omg i didn’t know i needed this but i did. i have told people i am not an artist, i just make art. because same, i don’t feel good enough to earn the title of “artist”. but i make art, i love it, i am an artist. it’s okay to say that and i needed this video to prove it to me
I'm glad it helped 💕✨
I'm in a very similar point in my artist journey and this video made me happy. ❤️
I’m so glad this helped 💓💓
Ana, continue to create these salient art content as it resonates with many other new comers to the art world especially as a West Indian Caribbean artist. Blessings to you indeed.
Thank you so much for your sweet message 💓 Welcome!
you’re channel deserves way more subs! can’t wait to see you grow and become even more successful :)
aww thank you so much 💜 I appreciate it :)
good VIDEO!!
thank you for watching 💓
I just love how you were able to be truthful about your feelings. I think it's CRAZY you feel the same way i feel! I watched another channel (and i saw you commented on her video also) about not feeling good enough, and ...HOW POWERFUL! I thank you for sharing that, i felt not so alone! Oh- and my favorite advice that you shared was not to compare your art to other's art. Yea! LOL...dig that!
You are most definitely not alone! So many of us go through this!! I'm glad you enjoyed the video ❤️
this is great keep painting !
Thank you! 😊
This is so beautiful. Thank you for sharing ❤️ Keep going ☺️
@@AnaCornejoArt your welcome hun. And I will . You as well.☺️🙏🏽❤️
Thank you for the video :) I had a hard time allowing myself to be an artist.
I'm glad you liked it! It wasn't easy for me either 😅
If you haven't read "Real Artists Don't Starve" I think you'd really enjoy it!
thank you for the recommendation!!
I really enjoy this vlog video, just watching it already makes realax, I also want to have a painting studio
thank you for watching! my studio is my room! I used to just paint on the floor, it's taken me a while to create this studio space :)
This was so relaxing and inspiring. Thank you for this :)
I’m so glad you enjoyed ☺️
Great video! And you are a great artist!
Thank you so much 💓
Thank you Ana for this inspiring video.

Thank you so much 🤗✨
Ahhh when people ask me to paint a photo from a cell phone or worse- Facebook screenshot. Yikes it makes life harder for me personally.
Off topic comment (I just loved your advice about taking your own photographs!)
Thank YOU this is what I’ve needed. I’m a glass blowing “artist” and painter for over 10 years and still I don’t feel like one and was ashamed to express it to others. I subscribed- you rock!
Glass blowing artist!! That's sooo cool 🤩 Thank you for sharing! and I totally agree with the facebook screenshots 🙃

Nice work dude! Super cute vid, great msg. Big leaps will come when we embrace who we are.
I love that! Thank you 😊
Same here, especially when you see all those awesome artists on ig and then checking your own art it looks like some kid drew them and you keep telling to yourself than not yet, I still need to work on my art and just then I will be able to call myself an artist, or just when you start earning from your art you are an artist... And it's never ending circle... Im glad Im not alone
I FELT THAT!!! SO SO TRUE. Thanks for sharing this!
Thank You!
I find the prep oddity satisfying
hehe thanks! :)
I can relate completely. I still refer to myself as a hobbyist because I keep comparing myself to working professionals. You make a really solid point. Just keep making art! It's not gonna be perfect every time. Edit: Also, this turned out beautiful. That's a great reference.
Yess exactly!! Thanks so much Alisha ☺️
@@AnaCornejoArt Thank you sweetheart ❤️

Thanks for sharing your story. Wishing you much success. God bless.🌺
Thank you so much! ❤️
wow. just the title itself hit my soul, and then I could immediately felt your soul and energy throughout the video. I am in the same exact boat. Currently on a journey of finally making art for myself. Lmk id anyone can relate :)
I allowed my life circumstances limit me and dictate my decisions for so long.
I just saw your video in my recommendations and I can relate so much to the title... I feel stuck right now with my art, but since I want to study art, I need to motivate myself to draw more. You really inspired me! Your art is amazing and also, you're so gorgeous and sympathetic!
Thank you so much for your kind message ☺️❤️
Simplemente hermoso ❤️❤️🙏🏻
❤️❤️ love you
Ur video spoke to my soul.
Ahh this melted my heart ❤️✨ thank you for sharing this 🙏🏼
This video is so inspiring, thank you!

Ill never forget when you and I drew together. Your tweety looked spot on and my bugs bunny looked like it was on crack 🤣.
Omg I forgot about that!!! Hahah that was ages ago! Let’s do it again 🤣
I love this Video! I feel like everyone is an artist and some people don't know because they probably never tried. Sometimes you have to pick up a paintbrush and see what happens. You might just be surprised by yourself 💜

Man I needed to see this 💕 I never considered myself an artist 🎨 I just did it LOL and learn off different courses - I too started to get into art again during lockdown- I did draw years ago and stopped and started and stopped ✋ - then somehow I got into painting and taking g photos of nature and learn courses and so forth - i like to think I can say I am artists but it's hard LOL like you say needing to feel worthy and terrified to be seen LOL One time I had a lil kid stare at me whilst doing art in a coffee shop and I blushed and smiled and meant alot to me as usually I am that kid staring 😏🤣🤣💓
ahhh I love that coffee shop moment ☺️ that's precious 💕💕 thank you for sharing this with me Sara!

Thank you for this video!! It is really hard for me to call myself "artist" even though I have been making art for a long time now..
I'm glad that the video resonated with you 💓 it's a great feeling to know you're not alone in this
Very irrelevant but you are absolutely stunning. I love your energy. I also recently admitted to myself that I am an artist. I think that is the biggest step we artists can make.
In my case, printing my work solidified it.
Thank you so much for the kind message ❤️ Congratulations! I haven't printed my artwork yet but I could only imagine the feeling!! Keep it up :)
Guess we're both admitting that!
Beautiful vlog. 😍 keep going. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

I love this so much!!!!!
Where did you find this palette with glass and rubber? :) Do you have a link for online orders? :)
I kind of DIYed it haha. This is the link to the wet palette: www.dickblick.com/products/masterson-sta-wet-palette-seal/
I found it cheaper to buy a glass kitchen cutting board and paint the bottom a mid gray. But you could also just buy it online: www.dickblick.com/items/new-wave-posh-glass-tabletop-palette-9-x-12-gray/
I hope this helps 🤗

That's how I felt in the beginning! Keep going 💓 You've got this!
Your doing great for two years. I wonder do you paint daily?? I’ve decided this New Year I’m going to paint regularly
that's an amazing new year goal! I don't paint every single day but I do paint often. I don't take very long breaks anymore :)
After watching this video, I feel very good, keep going 😄👍🏻
I’m so glad you enjoyed the video! 🤍
Nice video btw why are u so underrated
Thank you! I appreciate it the kind words :)
Just like the term professional Artist
Heck. Today most Painters/ Artists are now relegated to the term Visual artists etc.
Nevertheless you make a very valid arguement especially the part about the "good enough" label. Thank you for sharing this alternative viewpoint.
Thank you for writing this. It brings a very positive perspective 🙏
If you don't mind me asking you where did you where did you got this pallette.
Of course! I DIYed it haha! This is the palette seal: amzn.to/3y9ocWv and then I bought this glass board: amzn.to/3EVdupf and painted it a mid gray :) I hope this helps!
