Mixing your own feed

There is considerable interest in small poultry flock owners mixing their own feed. If you are growing your own cereals, that might make sense, but you cannot mix a well-balanced feed cheaper than a commercial feed mill. Jacquie Jacob from the University of Kentucky will discuss what is necessary to mix your own feed.

I am so thankful that you do these videos!! It gets CORRECT information out to help flock keepers know what’s right. And turns them away from all the crap that gets posted all over social media that does nothing but confuse and misinform. Especially the new flock keepers. Thank you SO much for doing what you do!! Is it true thst if your flock tests positive for somebof these things that you will be made to cull the entire flock? Btw- video autolayed to this- this comment was meant for a bio security video you did and spoke in the influenzas
