I left a AZ. and came to the Farmington,NM. in 1973.When I got here the roofing company I went to work for didn't know what a fiberglass mop was.I told them if I was going to mop I would furnish my own mop and I used a fg.mop.In fact no one else ever did.
This is Southern California roofing out of Downey .ca my dad worked their at the time this video must have been made around 85 or 86.another quality Union roof local 36.
@@ronaldsolberg6231 I roofed out of Nape all thru the 80's we did tons of 4 ply hot mop, and pea gravel. Getting burned was a daily routine, but still one of the best times of my life. 20 years old and bullet proof.
fiberglass mops suck , cotton mops made properly outperform glass mops all day long , using a glass mop for a week is a lie , you must ADD additional glass to the mop every day , you must comb the mop out constantly & there are no quality benefits or labor savings .

At one time ca. had the best roofers anywhere.I worked San Jose area in the early 70,s
