Unreal Environments - Speed Level Design a larger wasteland would be awesome! This map is very nice because i love the map design in fallout and this looks very close to it. I think i have to create 1000 fakeaccounts for subscribing. I will have a long night :P
thanks, maybe i will extend this map if others like the idea. for the fake accounts it's not useful having a lot of subscribers if they are not real :)
You should attempt creating an abandoned old village in a desert, slowly being swallowed by the sand, or maybe a broken down, abandoned carnival?? That would be amazing, awesome work as always! Wish I was as creative & able to create my own worlds
Currently making a swamp map myself decided to check here for inspiration and damn you never fail to impress. Reminds me of Metro: The Last Light but in higher detail and with modern technology. Truly amazing indeed man ;)
@Evan Sarasin not the originals. And by originals I'm mean the good ones. And FONV. Basically any game made by Obsidian. Yes Interstellar and Obsidian are the same.
Unreal Environments - Speed Level Design ok here are some ideas: - Haunted mansion - Strange planet with ruins of an alien city - Zombie apocalyptic city - Small tropic island - Canyon - Desert oasis - Landscape with Stronghold - Skyrim landscape - Witcher 3 landscape - Modern city scene Hope you like some of them and build one :)
Yea it's amazing that it was all made from an absolute blank canvas and only lots of modualr parts. I know it's the way to go now for most UE4 maps, but the structures in particular were very well designed imo considering how the parts were re-used and put together in a way that doesn't look like a "cloned wall". As always the Post Process Volume brings everything together and really makes it feel exactly like the atmosphere should be. Some minor details that I would play with: the stop sign doesn't really fit there right besides the building's door, maybe if you extend the level you could add some sort of trail and use the sign there where it would make more sense. I kind of like the idea of the big vines between the buildings, but it looked odd indeed that's probably why you abandoned the idea. But since you added power lines, I think you could add wires between powerlines and make the vines dangle from there instead for a similar look. I'm very happy that you are doing that speed level series, it's great !
Great work! What did you use for the "swampish" water effects? Doing a swamp scene myself and was going to create it from bottom, but I liked the feel you had going here.
One very disgusting and very nice beautiful place same time to play with! :) Great graphics! Looks very good! Where did you get the assets from? Is this kinda of asset pack form Marketplace and if yes what's the name for pack? :)
Yeah I didn't know that when I was 12. Now my hardrive is dying I predict I have maybe a month of use left on it so I am going to save up for a desktop next.
Well mine lasted 2 years so it wasn't short but it wasn't long. Next pc I get I will definitely make sure it has a overclockable core i7 with a pretty nice gpu that is for sure.
Great video. What was your post process work to get the lighting done right? It looked like you may have done some more changes to the lighting between the end of the build portion of the video and the final render.
thanks, now i don't remeber exactly if i changed something, for sure i' ve build the lightning and that improved a lot the whole scene and the rendering in sequencer (at 1440p) has done the rest!
Amazing work! Did you do optimization of any sorts for this project? Because this looks very cool and you're not running this on a top tier computer with at least 45fps from what I'm seeing! :D
I love your work, I'm a level dresser/level designer myself! But I usually develop for Unity instead of Unreal... But I might switch soon because Unity have that Unity feel/look to it which is pretty hard to get rid of
Yeah, also you have the material editor for your shaders, you don;t have to spend money on buying material editors for unity like shaderforge or amplify... what's your business contact? Any projects you're working on at the moment?
you can contact me at pdp93@live.it (email or skype) or on my discord (link is on in the description of my last video), at the moment i'm working on a small game, i will make some video on it

The Map Was Excellent
Dude. Your level design is good. Make a horror or a shooter game. Plzzzzz
Do a section of resident evil 4's village. the one where you first meet the chainsaw guy.
Seeing that in modern graphics would be sick.
nice idea, i'll see if i can do it
Grande!:) Sarei curioso di vedere qualche cosa un po' 'medioevaleggiante' :)
Fantastico lavoro comunque!
Grazie! farò sicuramente qualcosa di "medievaleggiante" in futuro :)
You are better than Bethesda at this

Nossa ? Sem palavras !! Tem um talento muito lindo parabéns
You have left me speechless u have a beautiful talent ..... iffy Portuguese dou
Loved the way, U made the structure using modular parts. Also those ground materials are really nice, are they using displacement map?
the landscpae material is from this pack: www.unrealengine.com/marketplace/broadleaf-forest-collection, i think it uses tesselation
Yea it's amazing that it was all made from an absolute blank canvas and only lots of modualr parts.
