In high school I was with a couple friends and we drove to the grocery store to pick up snacks for a movie night at a friends house. After we loaded the groceries in the trunk I went to the driver’s side and pulled out my keys to unlock the door (this was before cars had automatic lock/unlock) and suddenly I had a strange feeling of something being off. I think I briefly thought wait, didn’t I get out of my car on the other side? And then I looked into the window and it wasn’t my car! There were items in there that I didn’t recognize. But it was exactly the same color and type of vehicle I drove. And the craziest thing was I had somehow been able to unlock the trunk of this stranger’s car with my key! It turned out the stranger had parked their car directly across from mine, which is why I felt disoriented suddenly when I was trying to open the door to the wrong car. It got even funnier because we couldn’t unlock the trunk to get our groceries out. So we guessed maybe the trunk had not been closed properly and that’s why I originally was able to open it with my key, but now that it was shut securely it no longer worked. So my two friends went back into the grocery store to make an announcement to find the driver. The poor guy apparently came up to them really worried someone had damaged his car. And then my friends were like, so we locked our groceries in your car, can you unlock it? Lol. Wish I had been there to see his face. I waited by his car just in case my friends missed the person in the store. I swear we were sometimes like the girl version of the three stooges. We were good kids but had some crazy luck. And I never had anything like that happen with anyone else. But whenever it was the three of us, it was a recipe for strange things to happen. We also took a unplanned road trip and vacation to Canada one summer and got lost. Fun times.

my father always wears a cap bc he is bold and as a kid i mistook every man with a cap for my dad. One day after i got scared by a dog i run to my 'father' and screamed 'Dad i wanna go home' or sth like that. He was with his mom and his mom and he got in a fight about me, why he never told her that he had a child and so on. And my father stood close by and watched the drama unfold.
This might be irrelevant but i remember when i was at the museum once and i heard this woman scream and it turned out her child got lost in the museum so the security went to look for the child everywhere and eventually they found the child and everyone around starting clapping while watching the child hug his parents. It was a beautiful moment. I can't imagine what that small child went through. I don't know myself what I would do if i got lost.

This happened to me once at a store, the mom kept pulling me and literally almost had to drag me thinking I was her daughter, and the daughter was next to me looking so uncomfortable just standing next to me....Her mom even told me that I shouldn’t be stubborn and making a scene outside the house calling me with the child’s name while using her phone all the while. I was very young at the time otherwise I would’ve spoken up, good thing my mom and aunt saw me (they were busy talking to the sales lady and looking at the products) literally stuck in my spot like a statue unmoved despite being pulled by the mom.

Wrost moment of my LIFEE, he literally froze while he put his hands down there and turned to look at me, I made sure he knew it was a mistake when I said “oh crap.....you’re not my cousin..?” I honestly would’ve passed away on the spot if this happened to me again. Story 2 I confused my dads truck for someone else’s truck so I tried to get in and the door wouldn’t open, I asked the stranger “hey dad why aren’t you opening the truck?” And he was bald and so was my dad so I didn’t think much of it when I turned to look at him from the back, he said “excuse me?” “Dad? I didn’t ask for another kid.” Apparently my face turned so red and I apologized telling him there was a mistake. If either of these stories happened to me again I would die on the spot.

True story: My sister drove me to the grocery store one night many years ago, and after I got my stuff, I got back in the car and the first thing I noticed was a hat on the floor in the passenger’s side that I didn’t see before as I was stepping inside. I got in, closed the door and then looked to my left and I saw this guy that I’ve never seen before. I got into someone else’s car. He looked at me like I was crazy! I was so embarrassed!

In high school I was with a couple friends and we drove to the grocery store to pick up snacks for a movie night at a friends house. After we loaded the groceries in the trunk I went to the driver’s side and pulled out my keys to unlock the door (this was before cars had automatic lock/unlock) and suddenly I had a strange feeling of something being off. I think I briefly thought wait, didn’t I get out of my car on the other side? And then I looked into the window and it wasn’t my car! There were items in there that I didn’t recognize. But it was exactly the same color and type of vehicle I drove. And the craziest thing was I had somehow been able to unlock the trunk of this stranger’s car with my key! It turned out the stranger had parked their car directly across from mine, which is why I felt disoriented suddenly when I was trying to open the door to the wrong car. It got even funnier because we couldn’t unlock the trunk to get our groceries out. So we guessed maybe the trunk had not been closed properly and that’s why I originally was able to open it with my key, but now that it was shut securely it no longer worked. So my two friends went back into the grocery store to make an announcement to find the driver. The poor guy apparently came up to them really worried someone had damaged his car. And then my friends were like, so we locked our groceries in your car, can you unlock it? Lol. Wish I had been there to see his face. I waited by his car just in case my friends missed the person in the store. I swear we were sometimes like the girl version of the three stooges. We were good kids but had some crazy luck. And I never had anything like that happen with anyone else. But whenever it was the three of us, it was a recipe for strange things to happen. We also took a unplanned road trip and vacation to Canada one summer and got lost. Fun times.

This might be irrelevant but i remember when i was at the museum once and i heard this woman scream and it turned out her child got lost in the museum so the security went to look for the child everywhere and eventually they found the child and everyone around starting clapping while watching the child hug his parents. It was a beautiful moment. I can't imagine what that small child went through. I don't know myself what I would do if i got lost.

Wrost moment of my LIFEE, he literally froze while he put his hands down there and turned to look at me, I made sure he knew it was a mistake when I said “oh crap.....you’re not my cousin..?” I honestly would’ve passed away on the spot if this happened to me again.

I confused my dads truck for someone else’s truck so I tried to get in and the door wouldn’t open, I asked the stranger “hey dad why aren’t you opening the truck?” And he was bald and so was my dad so I didn’t think much of it when I turned to look at him from the back, he said “excuse me?” “Dad? I didn’t ask for another kid.” Apparently my face turned so red and I apologized telling him there was a mistake.
If either of these stories happened to me again I would die on the spot.
