I wish I didn’t have to work all the time so I could spend my days doing this! I want to be a slave of Allah more than anything! Especially over being a slave for a corporation building homes I can’t even afford!
My family need the sustenance.. so I don’t know what else I’m supposed to do

These ibadaat are from the nawafil. Providing for the family is mandatory. Make dua to Allah to give u the opportunity to stick to these ibadaat. When u have free time u could memorize some of the daily azkar of the evening and repeat them while working. And remember that u can always do zikr whenever u want, standing, sitting or lying

Whenever I feel like this that I'm a slave of my company I remember that the whole moment that I'm doing legal work and doing it to provide for myself or my family in a halal way, all of it is a ibada in itself.
It reminds me of the hadith where the prophet ﷺ told the sahabas that having a relation with your wife in a halal mariage is a ibada quand you get good deeds from it. The sahaba were so shocked but like the prophet ﷺ said "if you did it in a haram way you would have a bad action written for you", same goes for work

What is the evidence that the second type of ibadah the sheikh mentioned has a special virtue in the time of asr? like he mentioned hadith for the first one but not for the second. If anyone can provide the reference may Allah reward him. Just genuinely curius. May Allah give the sheikh long life upon 'amal us-salih
