I think that hearing Kameron talk about her breakdown so openly while in quarantine and just showing how down to earth and normal she is. Everyone suffers in different ways because of all that is going on in our nation with quarantine, Covid, and the BLM movement. To hear her discuss so freely about getting overwhelmed by this and how she processes these moments just shows how genuine a person she really is :)
My favorite part is when she talks about putting down the phone call for Drag Race so she could not be an asshole to the cashier at the store, because that's literally me. Manners go a LONG way
Yaaaaaaaaaaasss!!! Sometimes I feel like just being another rude ass because people are so rude and self entitled, but then I’m too polite to do that. Lol
@@meme2363 Oh trust me, I can be mean as fuck to random idiots, but if you’re a cashier/retail/food service employee, I will go out of my way to make sure I am the nicest most polite customer possible
My favorite part was hearing about Kameron Michaels' beginnings. I have been binge watching your Exposed series and they are soooo good! Thank you for asking important questions and making the queens feel comfortable. True professionalism and journalism! :)
My favourite bit was when she described the "battery life" of introverts depleting quickly and the need to escape to replenish. This is an amazing analogy of how I have felt for so much of my life without ever really realising it!
Kameron is hands down one of my favourite Queens of all time -- I was EXTREMELY lucky to run into her when she was in Saskatoon last year -- I just happened to swing into Sephora to look around and sure as shit she was there and was kind enough to let me take a picture with her!! I am a very big introvert myself, so to see a Queen as fierce as she was without being loud like so many other girls was incredibly inspiring to me. Plus I absolutely ADORE her fantasy/video game drag aesthetic!! One of the most original Queens out there and hands down one of the best! Fantastic interview, I loved all of it!!
My favorite part of the interview was getting to hear Kameron talk about prioritizing their mental health and cutting out social media when it was starting to become detrimental. Regardless of how big of an audience you have it’s always important to make sure you’re okay and well! I loved watching Kameron perform in Houston over a year ago and loved this interview too 💕
Being an introvert myself I completely related to what you two were talking about with the social battery etc. If I've been at an event that's taken a toll on me, I call it social hangover. Cuz' my body feels like it's worn out. Anyway, Thank you Kameron for doing this, I hope to see you in Denmark soon. And thank you Joseph for yet another great interview.
Favorite part of this interview was hearing comments about being introverted and running out of juice on her social battery. I can totally relate and it is really good language to use next time when I am out with friends.
My favorite moment was when Kameron was was talking about how mad she was during her villain episode and how Michelle told her she had a "you wanna punch me in the face" look 😂
I love when Kameron spoke about being introverted. Im a seemingly extroverted person who is deeply introverted. It was nice to have someone to related to and put it into words so perfectly. That comment about the social battery hit home!! I also loved the story about deleting her social media. That was really touching I felt for her. I can only imagine how overwhelming that must have been.
I just love how Kameron is just so close to us, we can relate to her and I love that she is unapologetic herself without being afraid to speak up about her struggles, thank you for this!
Last May, I saw Kameron perform at Werq the World in Edinburgh for the last birthday of my 30s. Next day I got a happy birthday from her on Instagram which made my birthday complete. Sadly my 40th was ruined by the virus (no party, cancelled plans, isolated for 17 weeks from all family) but at least I have last years memory of her performance to look back on as probably the best birthday I’ve had. Her passion for performance really showed. Things like that make huge difference to people’s lives. Hope she’ll know that ❤️
I love how queens are using their voices to support both the black lives matter movement and speak about the important aspects that black trans women specifically had in the gay rights movement. So Kameron speaking about that at the end of the video really made me happy, as a trans woman myself XD
First time seeing Kameron on Meet the Queens for S10, I immediately rooted for her. She was this very introverted talented creative queen that I gravitated towards to. She’s very amazing, not loud and over the top. I relate to her a lot and looked up to her on and off Drag Race. I know Kameron won’t see this but if she does, I want you to know that you inspire so many kids and I hope you’re doing better everyday. Take care Kameron
I relate to Kameron so much after this interview. What she said about introverts having a battery is so true it kinda made me feel emotional. Thank you 💙🥰
all of your interviews are so so amazing i can’t wait for the next one! my favourite part was kameron talking about her break from social media and her feelings of being overwhelmed and wanting a fresh start as that is something i can relate to a lot. thanks for all the great content !!
My favorite part was Kameron's honest and raw answer to every question that you had for her. Refreshing to see! Stay strong and I hope she's able to perform again soon and get that joy back.
My favourite part of this whole interview was Kameron talking about how introverted people how something similar of a battery life when it comes to being social, this is a perfect representation of how us introverts think and the whole thing about leaving a room, a situation, or a party, having done this myself several times, I completely understand what it’s like not necessarily wanting to be part of a big group, and especially how some extroverts sometimes don’t necessarily understand the struggle introverts have around a group of people and get misunderstood for being ‘too quiet’ or ‘antisocial’ past things I’ve been called ❤️ I loved this interview thank you so much❤️
You can always trust Joseph to deliver a fantastic interview, with INTERESTING questions. Kameron was someone I felt I could take or leave, but now I want to take take take!🤣💋
Kameron being sassy and mean sould be so fun! You can tell she's fun to be around and it's sad the edit didn't show that at all.. I love how you bring the best in Queens it's so nice to get to know them a little better Joseph! I'm so glad to have found your channel! I've been here since Alaska's episode!
Kameron is so amazing! Love her so much. My favorite part was how she articulated the concept of an introvert's social battery because so little people understand that we can't be energetic in social settings 24/7
my favorite part about this interview was hearing her talk about how she cant be mean online to her friend because she is seen as a nice person and I relate to that soooooo much
I just love everything she said about being an introvert and how we are often misunderstood, she's been such a huge inspiration for introverts such as myself. I also love how honest she was about everything, like you can seriously see that she has a heart of gold and genuinely cares about others, she's literally the best and I'm so proud of her and everything she has accomplished.
Loved this whole interview and Kameron's candid, genuine answers. But the part that that I loved the most hearing that she's totally down for an All Stars season, because I am HERE for it! I can't wait to see more of her in the werkroom, hopefully soon!
Favorite part was the possibility of a twitch stream. Please put that into my life! Watching Trixie's and Bob's (and now knowing that Jaremi also has one!) is one thing making quarantine more bearable. Adding one of my all-time fave queens into the mix would be amazing 😉
oh my god i literally love kameron so much 😍. my favorite part of this interview was when she talked about being from a smaller town in tennessee. i come from a smaller town as well, so it’s nice to know that you can be successful, no matter where your background is at! 💖
Whenever Kameron Michaels speaks I find very soothing, not only because her character is like the but because I sense a calmness and realness that no other queen has you know, she's just unapologetically her and I LOVE IT!
My favourite part of this interview was the details about the season 10 & also listening to her story about when she got a phone call to say she’s got into drag race! She’s so lovely! X
Favourite part of the interview was definitely was the entire thing, I've watched a couple of interviews from you now and now I'm a fan not only of the queens here but you as well, so great work and keep it up!
The part that Kameron was in lol. I connected so deeply with Kameron in her season even though I felt I didn't really know her. Especially the episode before the finale I remember feeling so inspired and proud. Also your lipsyncs on tik tok are AMAZING!!😍❤
I love that Kameron was open about his breaks from social media.Eventually you just burn out or you look back at old posts and wonder what in the world made you post them. But its okay to take a break and refresh yourself. P.s. I love Kameron so much!! How can you not love him?!
Honestly, you are one of the best interviewers I've seen!!! You literally look like have the time of your life and it's genuine!!! Thank you for doing so much! I loved your pre-covid videos as much as I dig this new format. From Russia with love.
Joseph, thanks babe, love you so much for providing us with these aueens raw and unfiltered. Specially Kameron I love her so much and she deserves more recognition and love
I love how Kameron speaks openly about being an introvert and about his mental health. As an introvert myself, it's hard to navigate in the world today, where social media is always pushing the idea that everybody lives a happy and healthy life, and you're constantly questioning what's wrong with yourself. No one needs to be happy and outgoing 24/7 and that's ok.
My favorite part was def when Kameron talked about the BLM movement and how the LGBTQ+ community had no problem to put Pride on pause this year to support the movement because I too agree that the gay community understands the discrimination for simply being who we are as a minority community. 2020, lets make a change! ❤️
My favorite part was “when she said that she took some content down, because she look and said “uuuuggghh “ I don’t like that person. What was I thinking .” because I felt her so much! Haha I took some content down from my facebook too. And I said that same thing she said . LOL I feel you Kameron!! I feel you!! ❣️❣️💯💯💯
My favorite part of the interview is EVERYTHANGG!!! I really love how I can relate to Kameron because we’re both Ambivert and how she explained our social battery life.
I loved seeing Kameron have more time for herself and get to explain a lot of things about themselves. Kameron is one of my favorite queens, and it’s just nice to see and learn more from her.
I absolutely love this queen!!!! Meet her 3 times and have a tattoo of her that she autographed and signed! I loved getting a little insight on her experience on season 10 and loved finding out the development of her drag name! Very interesting and loved questions!!!
Joseph Shepherd hey!!! So happy to see that you are doing fantabulous!! Kameron/Dane used to do my hair in Nashville pre RuPaul. It’s a small world. Miss you too!
Yay! I was thinking Kameron was going to come out as a lip sync assassin this All Stars! She should have! She kills it! Loved this interview! Thanks for the amazing content!
My favorite part is when Kameron said that if she could be any other queen it would be Bianca, so she could be mean whenever. I can relate a lot on that point because I try to and want to be nice to everyone but I do enjoy making people squirm sometimes (never in a harmful way), and when you only really get to do that with someone you're close to, unless you're Bianca Del Rio!
I personally loved the entire interview as Kameron is one of my favorite queens from RuPaul's Drag Race. If I had to select anything in particular, I love when Kameron spoke about being an introvert and how sometimes as an introvert you just have to quietly dip out of things/events/scenes because of how draining it can be. I'm an extrovert, but I identify with that because I can be VERY empathic at times. I can read emotions in a room and pick up on them very easily; so much so that sometimes it feels like I absorb those emotions and that can be VERY draining. I've had to dip out of parties, karaoke events, and even funerals because of it. Thank you for the interviews @Joseph Shepherd and thank you Kameron for a delightful interview!
I love love love how open and honest Kameron is in this entire interview. It’s not easy to openly talk about mental health and it’s not easy to recognize those issues within yourself and actively address them and try to better your life. We love you Kameron, thank you for being you.
I understand the quarantine struggles SO MUCH. And I can imagine that that's what most performers are feeling like. Especially not being able to do the thing you love and have it support you makes so much sense. And I just rewatched season 10 and knowing Kameron better now I blame the edit so much. I get you Kameron, keeping on keeping on my queen
My favorite part was her answer to your question. “ our community didn’t think twice about losing pride month to help another cause” (BLM/BTLM)🖤 I’m in tears and didn’t expect that. Truly respect and adore her more. Joseph you are killing it and you are so damn sexy. ☺️🖤
I love this interview. Thanks to Kameron and Joseph for illuminating on and championing introverts! I feel so uplifted to know being quiet doesn't mean you're not able to express yourself. We just reserve and think of our language more carefully!
I am glad to see Kameron really being her authentic self and also being unapologetic. Kamerom broke so many stereotypes of who and what she needed to be but im proud of all her accomplishments and look forward to catching her if possible at her residency in Vegas! Great interview Joseph!🥰🥰
I love Kameron so much, my favorite part of this interview was her talking about how quarantine has affected her mentally, because I felt alone in that subject because my friends are doing fine and I’m all over the place mentally, so it made me feel less alone
My favorite part of this interview was Kameron speaking truth to being an INTROVERT! This is why I love you! I relate to you and will from now on use that clip to explain to people what it is like to be an introvert. Hope to meet you someday!
My favorote part of this interview was... THE WHOLE DAMN THING. I absolutely love Kameron and rooted for her on RPDR. When she took her break from social media I missed her and I love watching all her content💕
Favorite part of this interview? Talking about growing up as a closeted gay kid in the South, as well as being introverted and an empath, because I feel SO seen.
I just finished watching season 10 for the first time YESTERDAY and after 10 seasons and 3 all stars I felt really connect with Cameron story because yeah I am an introvert and LOVE performing also in my local broadway community. We all get it everything that you said. Even the hardest part about working in the extrovert world is not the work itself but how we need to be around the extroverts who suck out our energy everytime we around them. Like in every rehearsals, post-rehearsal mingles, parties, and even IN GROUP CHAT. uuggh. I found it very hard to do. I love this interview. You asked all the questions that we need to know about Cameron and I am so happy to watch this. Thank you
Play, you all heard it here first! Kameron wants to do All Stars, and she fucking deserves it, so tag WOW Presents, Rupaul's Drag Race, ANYONE! I want to see Kameron on All Stars 6! Who's with me???😍 🔥 ❤️ 👏
I think my favourite part of the interview was hearing about Kameron’s time using tik tok and I can totally relate to not wanting to use it because even tho I’m 22 I thought it was for younger people and was only for dances and I didn’t even know how to use it. I still don’t really know how to use it 🤣. But it’s nice to know that someone with amazing content started out just like me.
I like that Kameron has changed the physique expectation of drag. To have a healthy attitude toward working out and being gay, but and combining those things. I live in fear every day of going to the gym, because I don't look like that, and I never will. However (once COVID dies down) I will return to the gym a little less self conscience about it......and maybe stay longer...Thanks Kam! That was my favorite part of this video.
My favorite part was when she talked about how social events are for introverts, because I can really relate to that.❤️ I had always failed to explain to people in my showteam, why I never stay as long as they are at the aftershow party and often thought that I'm weird, because I just have literally an urge to flee when I'm out of energy. 😅
I love Kameron! I'm a introvert too so hearing her talk about it and her talking about BLM meant alot to me. Not alot of people use their platform to speak out against issues like that so I give her credit for that 💖
my favorite part was Kameron talking about her and her relationship with friends! girl as a sister fire sign I related tooooo much about loving to bully your friends. it comes from a tough love place but girl when I’m mean to you I also love you so hard and will ride for you and my girlies that can handle my direct ass approach end up being my favorite people lmaooo
I definitely came to love Kam more after the season. I’m an introvert too and I think I judged her too harshly because everyone is always jumping on cam but usually it’s for the wrong reasons. I love her now especially after seeing her on drag race live, she is so professional!!!
I really appreciate Kameron keeping life real. We are all going crazy with the world right now and its nice to see someone who people look up to saying... hey Im human too, and taking time for himself. So much more of the reason I will always support him. His talent is amazing and genuine, but above that he shows he's just one of us.
My favorite part of the interview was honestly just getting to know kameron more than i did before. i have always rooted for kameron since the day you walked into the werkroom because i saw myself in you. you just brought up the same energy as me and it really did show me / let me know that its okay to be quiet and secluded compared to the other people. you are the reason / your lip syncs are the reason i smile because i see someone who i see myself in and have a similar story too can be such an amazing person. if we ever get the chance to meet kameron ( sorry i might cry lmao ) but i just hope we hit it off and can become friends someday. your story and just you as a person really helped me grow to who i am today :) love u and love u too joseph can wait for more interviews.
My favourite part of the interview was definitely when she was talking about how she got her lipsyncs so tight with Dubsmash because I had completely forgot about Dubsmash! Hahah
My favorite part was win y’all talked about kamerons tik toks!!! My absolute favorite video of all time was her reenactment of Meryl Streep in the devil wears Prada!!!! I have watched and re watched that video memorized as hell!
Can we glorify and normalize that not all gay people need to be loud and extra to command attention please?
Cheers to that
I read that as "not only gay people..." at first - phew!
negative who are trying to impress
Can I get an amen?!
I feel like she had a lot of heat in her season for not fitting into that stereo type
*"...it’s not like I don’t like people, I just don’t like a lot of people at once..."*
YAAAAAAS OMG THIS IS A MOOD 24/7
kameron saying that asia wouldn't pick her lipstick on all stars completely makes sense with my fantasy
girl what if asia takes out strong competitor instead of kameron in the bottom and vice versa. I can already hear us screaming in the bars.
What did we do to deserve all these interviews? Thank you Joseph
They've been great!

I love Kameron! She taught me that even introverts can do "extrovert" stuff❤👍🏻
Kamron for ALL STARS 6

Isla Carman same. That was my favorite part of the interview. I got choked up. 🙏🏼🖤

We honestly don't deserve neither Joseph nor Kameron tbh
I loved seeing Kameron have more time for herself and get to explain a lot of things about themselves. Kameron is one of my favorite queens, and it’s just nice to see and learn more from her.

Thanks Inga!!! Love and miss ya!
Joseph Shepherd hey!!! So happy to see that you are doing fantabulous!! Kameron/Dane used to do my hair in Nashville pre RuPaul. It’s a small world. Miss you too!
The lighting on kameron in this interview is homophobic
She chose the lightning, her makeup doesn’t help either.
you mean the lighting is racist.
season 10 had three of my favorite queens with kameron, aquaria and cracker because I’m an introverted, anxious ball of an overthinking mess 😂🥰
Yay! I was thinking Kameron was going to come out as a lip sync assassin this All Stars! She should have! She kills it! Loved this interview! Thanks for the amazing content!
My favorite part was probably just seeing Kameron. I feel like I didn't really get to know her on RuPaul so it's good to learn about her.
well Kamerons camera is definitely OVERexposed😂
This is a great interview. I feel validated by the fact Kameron is handling quarantine as well as I am lol
Kameron is my favourite queen. Thanks for doing this. The best part was "I don't like too many people at the same time."
The part where Kameron uses the battery analogy to explain how interverted people are. That's gold!! That's my favourite part!
I love how candid Kameron was here. Learned a lot about how she got her start! 💜 ps are there go go boy pics?!?! 🤣
The way Kameron perfectly describes being introverted always makes me feel seen.
Loved Kameron perfectly articulating what it feels like being an introvert and how she balances being a performer with her limits!!!!
Favourite part of the interview - The fact that Kameron has not taken formal dance classes, which pretty much means her moves are self taught :D
I get you Kameron, keeping on keeping on my queen
i can't get over Alaska's Artprint in the back. it's so beautiful ..
Can’t wait for this because I relate to Kameron on a personal level with so many things so I wonder it they will be talked about in here
My favorite part was her answer to your question.
Freedom sounds like a bop and it has a good message. I hope I can find it after this 😀
My favorote part of this interview was...
Thank you
Thank you for giving us consistent content during this quarantine ❤️
Play, you all heard it here first! Kameron wants to do All Stars, and she fucking deserves it, so tag WOW Presents, Rupaul's Drag Race, ANYONE! I want to see Kameron on All Stars 6! Who's with me???😍 🔥 ❤️ 👏
I think my favourite part of the interview was hearing about Kameron’s time using tik tok and I can totally relate to not wanting to use it because even tho I’m 22 I thought it was for younger people and was only for dances and I didn’t even know how to use it. I still don’t really know how to use it 🤣. But it’s nice to know that someone with amazing content started out just like me.
ok but kameron truly is one of the best lip syncers to ever come from drag race. loved this ❤️
I like that Kameron has changed the physique expectation of drag.
I likes hearing how Kameron is doing during quarentine. I had hoped to see her in Vegas, So I hope she will be there when I get there! 😉
I love Kameron! I'm a introvert too so hearing her talk about it and her talking about BLM meant alot to me. Not alot of people use their platform to speak out against issues like that so I give her credit for that 💖
Favourite part of the interview: Hearing Kameron admit that she actually wants to be mean but she can't hahahahaha Can definitively relate to that.
These interviews are fantastic! I love all of them!
my favorite part was Kameron talking about her and her relationship with friends! girl as a sister fire sign I related tooooo much about loving to bully your friends. it comes from a tough love place but girl when I’m mean to you I also love you so hard and will ride for you and my girlies that can handle my direct ass approach end up being my favorite people lmaooo
I definitely came to love Kam more after the season. I’m an introvert too and I think I judged her too harshly because everyone is always jumping on cam but usually it’s for the wrong reasons. I love her now especially after seeing her on drag race live, she is so professional!!!
She's one of my fav since I first saw her on Drag Race, she's really adorable, kind and sweet 🥰
I really appreciate Kameron keeping life real. We are all going crazy with the world right now and its nice to see someone who people look up to saying... hey Im human too, and taking time for himself. So much more of the reason I will always support him. His talent is amazing and genuine, but above that he shows he's just one of us.
My favorite part was Kameron talking about how her introverted fans message her saying thank you because I was one of them! :)
Love love love my introverted queen ❤️ your lip synching skill is unmatched ❤️
My favourite part of the interview was definitely when she was talking about how she got her lipsyncs so tight with Dubsmash because I had completely forgot about Dubsmash! Hahah
Love her/him, love the interview; this brightened my day.
My favorite part was win y’all talked about kamerons tik toks!!! My absolute favorite video of all time was her reenactment of Meryl Streep in the devil wears Prada!!!! I have watched and re watched that video memorized as hell!
