I'm not a professional either, the difference between us is that anyone looking at my work would immediately know that, but for you... This looks really good and, like you say, suits the use you're planning for the Jeep. Maybe you noticed... I love your Jeep :-)
My guess is if you had used a drab paint it would better mask the imperfections as the glossy paint tends to accentuate flaws. After all, military Jeeps were painted "olive-drab".
I had known a guy that did a roller paint job on his aircooled vw bug. It was yellow. Yours turned out light years better. May be a 10ft paint job but we're talking about a 50's multi purpose vehicle. Not a hotrod. An average person could do worse with a spray g*n. Truthfully im not convinced they looked much different when they came out of the factory. You had me fooled. I never questioned you didn't spray it
@@benchamberlain5985 I’m in Forks…. The guy who did my blasting is in Sequim…. Jim Bekkevar sand blasting…. Really nice guy, had the whole job done in about 3 hrs…. Super happy with it…
One man army restore....

Looking good!! ☺️👍
I cringed when I heard the word roller...but it's looking good! I like the textured look under the hood! Take care, be safe.
I painted an old MGB with a gallon of thinned white rustoleum and the mini foam rollers... It came out remarkably well! I will do it again, for sure.
I think if I’d have taken a little more time it could’ve been really nice… but it’s perfect for this Jeep.
Now this is how it should be restored, get her on the trail. Almost play time.
We’ve had a lot fun with it, winter is here and hoping to get it out and runaround soon.

I painted my last Jeep with a flat military paint, I found it was very difficult to clean. Desert Tan

I paid $400…. Whole tub, fenders, tailgate, windshield, grill, hood…. Pacific Northwest…. Was a steal apparently…
