I remember watching your dad win the Pipe Masters with a cast on his broken wrist, and then your Uncle Derek win in 1989 with possibly the craziest Pipe wave of all time. Mason, you have their style -- it trips me out to see. What a legendary family (Coco is amazing too). Mahalo and Aloha from California.
BC Bob When it comes to looks or smarts, I get it. Never seen it in when it comes to surfing my friend. Perhaps Curren’s kids. I can’t even explain exactly what it is. The hand movements, the stance, the sheer ability. I suppose style gets inherited too. 🤙🏽🙌🏽
Uh, that backside barrel sequence at 40 sec is really out of this world! When I see Mason surfing, it actually confirms what I have always believed regarding the fact that waves were created for us to ride them.
I don't know how it's possible but Mason puts a lot of comedy into his surfing, he does it all, action, thriller, comedy, etc. a one man show, love watching him.

@@caseylevins9900 Yes and therefore the most underrated surfer ever. Competition is fine but it just doesn't go together too well with what surfing truly is in my opinion. Surfing is natural but needing to score points for the judges makes it unnatural.
Well all I have to say is Coco looks equally hot going frontside as well as her "backside"! Other than that, freakin' Mason is an animal this year so far....saw him in another edit that I wouldnt be surprised comes close to if not turns out to be WOTW...endless spit...
