@@intyrystyn cancer is most of the time related to the stress of living and being predisposed. LIZ AND ALAN were two people who were always in the first lane so to speak. Such focus and high motivation to excell could have made them experience very high stress and anxiety and if one was predisposed to cancer eg genetically then it happened. It is also possible that when one is very busy and in service to others, they may not focus so much on themselves eg to have constant medical examination but will focus on others and even use the power of prayer to deal with initial revelation of the disease, trusting that God would heal them. It's sad that same is happening to many Kikuyus cos we are mainly focused on being rich and successful and sometimes we forget to give ourselves the much needed break. I also think focusing on others in the community rather that self and family could greatly assist Wakikuyu in reducing stress, feeling good about themselves and feeling rejuvinated hence prevent themselves from geting cancer and other diseases.
