55189 Pilots 2392 Over Esk Valley Viaduct 22/09/2023

Here we see Caledonian Railway 439 class 419/55189 piloting LNER J27 2392 over the Esk Valley Viaduct, heading up the bank out of Grosmont, on Friday 22/09/2023. The Caley tank was visiting for the NYMR's steam gala.
The pair made for a dramatic scene labouring up the 1in49 gradient with their load of seven.

Hellfire! Shame I couldn't make it this year, 419 is a beast, though I think she was better in blue. Definitely on the firing bucket list.
