    Nice looking saddle! Never been a fan of the webbing bridge do they give you the choice of a rope bridge?

      Not that I know of. The Eberhart ESS saddle has a webbing bridge but it's adjustable which I like better.

    I have a question for you, how tall are you because I’m 6’ 4” and 235lbs so I’m a 40” waist and would like to know what height and weight you are before I buy this saddle, and I’m also a Polock, and I’m Italian so I’m a Polwhop, I hope you answer back thanks in advance and be safe n good luck hunting, I just noticed they came out with a new saddle with the adjustable bridge

      Im 5 11 260 lbs, I was like 275 in the video. I sold the saddle, I didn't love it. I haven't tried the new one yet but I want too!!

    You and I are about the same size but I'm 46, would you recommend this or the latitude lonestar for a first time saddle hunter. Obviously safety is my first concern but comfort is my close second

    Are you going to do a review on the lockdown saddle? Trying to decide if I should upgrade from the phantom? Or what do you recommend for the best saddle right now?

    • @MichiganGreatOutdoors
      @MichiganGreatOutdoors  7 месяцев назад

      Yes, hopefully mid June, I have some other projects to work on first. I like the lockdown, it's super nice. My favorite is the TX5 lonestar 2.0, I have a video of it on my channel

    The constant fidgiting as you described is the definition of saddle hunting to me after 6 seasons of it. Never could get my back comfortable.

      I found the tx5 Lone Star and never had those issues again.

      Thanks! I will check it out. Inhd too much back ache as well with soft side saddles. Even when running a back band. If only the Cloud RLX had a webbing belt and a rooe bridge, I would try saddles again.

      Tx5 was purchased by Latitude so now you will find it under Latitude.

    I like walking in with my saddle on the way in, but I CANNOT get them to stay put! I have to use suspenders. It's the only way I can use one. I'm sure I'm not alone.
    Have you looked at suspenders for saddles yet?
    Love your honest gear reviews!

      Yeah, I run suspenders almost all the time, I don't want mine slipping down either. It seems like if you put anything in your dump pouches, it just adds enough weight to make them required.

      I have a custom gear modification cobra and it compacts super small for wearing in and out. With my dump pouch and ropes it wants to fall down walking in and out. I ended up buying First
      Lite suspenders from Amazon for $13 and used some small paracord loops tied and run through the molle webbing to attach them to saddle with. This worked like a charm and made all the difference in the world for me!!! I like my saddle and truly do believe most quality saddles will do the job for most people. I wish I lived in a place wear saddles were more common and you could try a bunch before buying!!! I would have loved to try a two piece, a TX5 minimalist or and saddle like this cloud that’s such a different design that maybe it would have worked better for me. Little things like dump pouches (size and style), 8mm tethers and linesman or for me not liking a rope men and preferring a tender instead and finally the suspender thing which made all the difference walking in and out for me.

    having the TX5 minimalast and latitudes saddle, is it worth switching? i wear my saddle in and this one seems to lean more towards packing in.
